I have a Kinesis account which trades gold ownership in digital form. I don’t want to fund it heavily, because I’d rather spend FRNs while I have them. However I strongly recommend opening any such accounts that interest you while they are available to give customer service. Don’t wait to open an account until there’s a bank holiday and lines around the block and no one picking up the phone. Get set up now. It takes a bit of time to deal with regulatory compliance.

I agree, however, what would you say about cashing out and paying a tax, to invest in physical? Then of course get back in at the dips. That is my situation and would love some insight. My FA is obviously telling me not to do anything rash and let him manage my portfolio, I just don't have faith in the market right now. Side note, my portfolio has performed very well, but the market has been in this All time highs mode and I feel like it is coming to an end. TIA
We were on a silver standard until 1971, dimes, quarters, and half dollars were 90% silver until 1965 and then reduced to 40% silver till 1971 when it was completely removed! Not coincidentally Nixon took us off the gold standard in 1971! Inflation went exponential in the 70's right after they did this! Go back and look at historical inflation charts! We had little to no inflation when everyone was walking around with silver coins in their pocket! We need to go back to that to have stable money again!
We need to get back to the gold standard but the Government doesn't want this. They are addicted to spending and borrowing and printing out of an air. The inflation is keeping the people in poverty. The poorer you are the more they have leverage on you and the more you rely on the system. Once we adopt the gold standard there will be no inflation and the everyday Americans will start to create wealth. They don't want that. The 🐑 has to stay in the pack and you know one day where they will end - On the chopping block.
Take a look at the cost of goods and services from 1960 to 1971 and compare that to today. My dad told me stories of taking mom out on a date and getting both of them a meal and a movie for 25 cents, which would also buy a gallon of gas or a few packs of cigarettes. Even at 55 years old, I remember cigarettes and gas both under a dollar. What we see today is what happens when you abandon the gold (& silver) standard and give government an unlimited credit card with fiat currency.
I have a personal gold standard, however its not personal if one interacts with third parties and is expectedt to divulged personal information such as residency. The government mantras of money laundering and crime is completely spurious. They once had real money and laundered it into a currency that could be recreated infinitum, and they do. As soon as I have unallocated currency, I convert it into real money.
I pray that all the states around mine We'll start collecting and building a precious metal stash. My hope is that that will put the heat on my state to go in that direction as well.
Wish Jay asked him who pays him and the rest of his group. I would assume some PAC or coming together of gold and silver companies. Otherwise how do you make a living doing this
