I'd love if this could become a series. I really liked this video and how you do this kind of videos, it reminded me of "the legacy of ..." videos preacher did. Thanks for the great content.
Love the video man. I just started classic and have got my warlock to lvl 13 and I have to say I'm loving every second. I can't wait to reach lvl 60 and open up my build more
Same here. My original is a lock from mid vanilla. Tailor/enchanter we’re the original professions and I have almost all patterns. But they broke him. Now he’s back and I get to enjoy it all over again! Good luck in Azeroth!
I am a warhammer fantasy fan. Particularly I like the skaven. So it should come as no suprise that when I made a classic character, I picked warlock and decided to go with the engineering profession. I am a warlock engineer.
You'll definately find late on in levelling. The extra utility provided on top of a warlocks default utility skills it will be good fun mate. Have fun :)
Warlock is the ultimate master class. Theres only 2 things thats not absolutely awesome about being a warlock. 1: healers healing me when Im bandaging and then complaining about lifetap. Then focus on the tank and let me die. Your job is to heal the tank. Mine is to not stand in the fire. 2: Other warlocks bitching about soulshards. We have 1 reagent to keep tabs on. And its free everywhere. Not to mention its literally the soul of your previous victims. If that shit came with nametags it would be the most marvelous collectables in the game. If you dont love soul shards you dont deserve to be a warlock.
I think soul shards are badass... You drain the soul of your dying enemies into a tiny shard, only to destroy it at your convenience, for your powerful spells. Before shard bags, they were indeed a pain to organize (thank god for addons), but since I've only ever played Warlock in WoW, I'm fairly used to having a bag fully dedicated to soul shards.
Would be nice if i could actually still do this with my inferno... in classic it just dissapears after it breaks enslavement, so damn lame they did that just to prevent a tiny, but hilarious bit if griefing and a mini event that requires a high levl to come save the lowbies its unleashed upon.
wait, seriously? WTF... It was not only fun in cities like Stormwind, but in Warsong Gulsh (PvP) it would still be useful even when it broke free, as you could send it inside the enemy base before Enslave Demon's cooldown finished... Also, since it had a chance to break free early (although I think they changed that a few patches before or in 1.12), you could enslave it again, is that gone too? Does it only happen in cities, or everywhere?
I literally thought "WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A WARLOCK?" then this video popped on my suggestions a few days later , you are entirely correct , I love you ... Loccdown(Undead-Warlock), Warmane
I’ve played undead lock since mid vanilla..first toon I ever made. WoF is a lifesaver and coupled with a PvP trinket is just wicked. And then there’s the awesomeness of eating the corpse of the person you just killed for food :)
Well tanking is absolutly viable... Especially if you have the pvp gloves and a pally in Group for the concentration aura. Problem is, that it is viable really late ingame. You can even tank Raid Bosses. Take ony for example...
I am literally on the LAST stage of my epic mount quest, trying to get a group for DM West that doesn't consist of an entire bunch of MORONS is soooo hard D: but I am so close to getting that fire horsey!
Hunters are better, because spiders. Only reason I alt warlock is because of how much I love watching meteor showers, because I just LOVE rain of fire like abilities, or blizzard like abilities.
as a warlock in classic. I always have bandages and potions (herb/alchemy). I try not to let the healers be responsible for the Life Taps but then again, you are healer, so heal.
I make sure to tell the healer that I am not a priority. I tell them that I will be life tapping but I can manage my own health just fine. And honestly if I’m doing what I should be doing like not pulling aggro or standing in fire then I shouldn’t need heals.
Zockerratte maybe if there was a big health sacrifice from the warlock sort of making it a pre summon to a battle and def not useable in any situation unprepared. Def wouldnt sacrifice a player for an npc though
