In the Name of Allah, The Giver of Mercy the Most Merciful. It is easy to get depressed when we look around and see everything that is wrong. The first thing I would suggest is first look inside yourself, make a sincere Dua for the change to start within. 'Be the change we want in the world', (Gandi) When we begin to be that change, i.e. become neither angry, heavily depressed or act judgmental it WILL & DOES affect the people around us. Change may come slowly but Insha'Allah it will come. Also on a practical level allocate a relistic budget for each family member that you can afford and stick to it. Greet each person (even those you think are evil) as you would liked to be treated, remember only Allah truly knows what is in peoples hearts. Be kind in dealing with them but if they, for example backbite, then leave or politely ask them to stop. May Allah help all of us fill our hearts with mercy and follow the Sunnah of our blessed prophet Muhammed (PBOH)

Of course most of us feel this specialy in the beginning. Dont get depressed its ok. Just dont stop trying. Keep on trying nd u will succeed Inshaa Allah. #1 dont over burden your self with a lot of vidios. Listen to one topic practice that topic and when you feel you have learned the lesson practically than move on to next. Because Imann builds up gradualy not in days or weeks its a lifetime process. So dont worry. #2 if you have these feelings than congrats its a gift of Allah that He makes you remember your mistakes and give you oppertunity to try to correct them.. how many people are there who dont even realize their weaknesses nd dont work for them... so be grateful.. #3 two of the names of Allah are ALQABIZ (the closer) & ALBASIT (the opener) so whenever you feel like you are not enjoying doing worships ALQABIZ is testing you whether doing worship even when you dont enjoy it nd dnt feel imaan getting up. And when you enjoy worshipping and praying thank Allah nd take full advantage of that time because ALBASIT has opened the doors for you to reach the sweetness of imaan to your heart so that you can enjoy your worship. May Allah make it easy for us. Ameen. Allah subhana wa ta'ala (Glory be to HIM)

It's not the meat or blood that goes to Allah but it's ur only pious reaches God -quranic verse. If u sacrifice u should feel pain and for the sake of God ur controlling ur feeling. Those days of prophet Ibrahim and even many corners of India they do their women, children get sacrificed even today thus eid -ul-adha make awareness and Allah prohibits them. Compare reproductive rate of domestic and carnivorous animals, domestic animals are not the part of extinction even u use it in everyday life. Even in many places unlike humans no animals bury their community so they left died on road side and no one to take care of.

salaam! firstly, may Allah give you patience. Secondly, as Ustaadh said, you're celebrating the fact that Allah never leaves His servants in times of trials. So I guess you should wear good clothes and eat good because we are the millat of Ibrahim(as). We don't lose hope. I hope your brother is in the highest tank in Jannah :)

Yes coz EVERYTHING belongs to ALLAH SWT and to HIM we shall return so we don't mourn anybody for more than 3 days it's in sahih Bukhari that prophet Muhammad SAWS pbuh forbade from mourning dead for more than 3 days and that mourning isn't extreme but just sombre, anyway plz consult with any shaikh /local imam of masjid for detailed ruling, alternatively you could ask @hudatv by shaikh Dr Mohammad salah or find it on RU-vid

Ameen As far as your sadness is concerned its ok to be sad for loved ones by knowing that its by the will of Allah nd not saying or thinking bad about Allah you are showing patience. Being sad is not a sin its ok. Dont get depressed. Think good of Allah nd ask him to heal your hurt. getting sad is not a sin but getting despair of the mercy of Allah is realy a big sin. May Allah relieve your burdens and bless you with patience and peace of heart. Ameen

so true! The youth especially are going so far away from Islam. I know many Muslim kids 18-19 year old with girlfriends/boyfriends and they openly post pics on facebook, instagram.. etc. They don't fear anything anymore. They do it openly now. The youth is a mess!
