Pastor Chan ... You really are a man of God just because you see the need to help people with addictions and recognize the need for when people come out of jail. It’s weird when I’ve been hearing about all these missionaries going to other nations to save and I think that’s great but I see all the lost souls here in North America because of addictions. I understand this because of my 28 yr old son, David who is addicted to meth; wish there were more ministering done here in Toronto for these young people and Pastors like you ; there is such a great need here. God bless you and your family.

the Word of God clearly teaches that a person is saved by FAITH ALONE in Christ. This is evidenced by Romans <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="245">4:5</a>; Ephesians <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="128">2:8</a>,9; Titus <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="185">3:5</a> and hundreds of other Scriptures. Romans <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="245">4:5</a> states... "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." The Bible couldn't possibly be any clearer on this matter. Salvation is through faith in Christ's righteousness alone (Romans <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="245">4:5</a>-6). This has nothing to do with Christian living. James <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="138">2:18</a> speaks of the FRUIT of a man's faith, which should be evident in every believer's life; BUT, that is completely separate from the ROOT of a man's faith, which is by faith alone in Christ.

In Hebrews <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="610">10:10</a>-14 there is the O.T. way contrasted with the N.T. way, showing the superiority of Christ's once for all sacrifice, which was accepted by God for every believer (Heb. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="612">10:12</a>). The sacrifice of Christ is perfect forever, for each child of God. Reason: Because His sacrifice is forever and continuously accepted by God in our behalf. The sacrifice is not dependent upon the person, but the person upon the sacrifice. In Hebrews <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="551">9:11</a>,12,23, Christ, as our High Priest offered Himself, once in our behalf, forever. If we deny His eternal sacrifice for us, we put a slight on the perfect, finished work of Christ, and relegate it to the level of the offerings of bulls and goats in the O.T. Why? Because if we say that the blood of Christ is insufficient for us to be eternally saved, then Christ's work was not perfect, and He will have to die again for us. Many are afraid this doctrine will lead people to be careless about their spiritual lives, therefore they stress the other side, i.e. good works to retain one's eternal life. But, they do not see that this is a practical denial of Christ's finished and completed work. One is eternally saved because the work of Christ abides eternally. Salvation is not one holding on to God, not a persevering effort, but a declaration of God's righteousness keeping one eternally saved, by His holding on to us. Provisional Grace is the truth.

I love his charisma and his delivery. He’s definitely good at it. He hangs a lot with John Piper (one of preiment Calvinist). But brothers and sisters look deeper. He is a Calvinist. Being such he believes that God predestined from before time the ones who would be saved called “the elect”. The rest He predestined to hell and eternal torment. The predestined are predestined from conception to go to hell or heaven. No grace for babies thief very rules of belief will not allow it. Predestined is from conception which means babies that die or are aborted that are off the “non elect” go to hell and are in torment. They deny the words of Christ out of his own mouth “For God so loved the WORLD thar He gave His only begotten Son so that WHOSOEVER believes on Him will have everlasting life”. Calvinist believe He only died for “the elect” not the world as he says. They also believe God hates because ususuing just one verse out of context to meaning “Jacob I loved, Esau I hated”. They can not say God loves you or God is Love in an evangelical way because God may not. You maybe the one predestined to hell whom He hates. Why evangelize the elect have already been chosen and the non elect are damned and can not change that. They believe God Condemns the non elect to eternal torment in order to show His Glory. Brothers, Sisters use discernment with these people. Let the Holy Spirit tell you of the mighty, marvelous, beautiful love of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. My God is a God of love. He says in his word He wishes no one to Parrish. Jesus died for all. He truly Loves us like we can never even grasp with our human minds. Go and spread the love of Christ to all.
