Yoh, we do think we can do it on our own. I love the example you made about kids not being yo nor talk to you because you are their primary care giver. It landed Joey.

You know when i say "man I miss the Lord" some people find it strange but it happens,sometimes praying does not necessarily mean intimacy and you can feel the difference

You know what I’ve picked up about us Christians? Because we all practice Christianity differently and all belong to different Denominations, so we all do our own thing and we don’t have that discipline like other religions. So everyone is left to do ‘ what feels right’ to them, hence this low maintenance relationship we seem to have with God. This video is challenged me, I’m going to do better. I do pray in the morning because I’m a morning person, sometimes it feels like a hit and run. I’m going to make more effort for the evenings, maybe 8-9pm as close the day

That is so true Sissy,just the way when you spending time with a friend you love,you enjoy their company so much that time flies. The same with God,the people that ive known that have walked so closely to God are people who spend hours in prayer unintentionally yet intentional

I also feel Sis that my prayer life can get better. In winter I struggle with fall asleep while praying in the night so I have to make extra effort to make my time with the impactful. I dont wanna do something for the sake of doing,i want my heart to be in it so jah,winters are a thorn in the flesh for me

For the longest time I struggled to pray due to shame and for some crazy reason I told myself that I do not know how to pray, I love the children's analogy. If I see God as my father, I will pray more as that is our means of communication. Challenge accepted. I want to join the 5am gang that will work for me. Thank you so much for this ❤❤❤❤

I was speaking to a friend last week, she motivated me to pray during lunch time and thats what I have started implementing at least i'll be praying 3 times in a day. My struggle ke weekend and I need to fix that.

Just to add on, what has been helping me in this new season of being a mom, it’s continuous prayer with God throughout the day. My set time during the week is 30 minutes during lunch time if I’m not disturbed 🙈
