Why aren't their more Black Baseball Players? 

Sports are cultural as much as anything else, and the black community focuses on football and basketball. Basketball, in particular, is a sport where an individual can get better by themselves, 1 on 1 or in full games.

Its not really put in our faces like hoops and football i didnt play until high school and loved it but it takes a while to develop def recommend starting kids early in it.

I didn't notice til today on 6-18-2024....all the players today i thought were black are from another country....so they pretty much found a way to replace them without the public knowing 🤔

It may be that the Spanish and the Asian players have pushed out the mediocre Black players just as the mediocre Whites were pushed out in the 50's.

Maybe because more have made a choice not to play baseball than in the past?

This is systematically done cheaper labor and travel ball is what's killing black American baseball. And I'll say this motion black men including myself baseball is our first love just like Michael Jordan most of us play baseball the issue is travel ball again killed the sport you can no longer just pick up a bat and ball and go to the park and play with your friends your friends because whoever any good and got some money that plan travel ball

Why are we asking this question? That is like asking why there are not more white players in basketball? Come on guys, you are better than this.
