I saw her in only two films in the 60's : Summer Holiday with Cliff Richard and Mr. Hobbs takes a vacation and I liked her immensely . She had a sense of immediacy that drew the public to her. If you dreamed of having an older or younger sister, Lauri fit that bill like a glove. Boys in their youth wished they had a girlfriend exactly like Lauri whom they could take home to meet mama. She exuded the vibe of the girl-next-door, one with the sweetest face and innocence looking eyes. Yes, Lauri Peters was someone VERY SPECIAL! I regret not seeing her in more films and any TV shows that she may have graced.
