The fact that she was even UTTERED to have been the cause of his OD well never fail to disgust me, they loved each other so much and people blamed her for not “sticking by him” even though she said she tried everything in her power to help him to the point where it was affecting her as well, and she had to grieve while the internet was blaming her for someone’s death
@@Soph-ts9yb Yeah cause she needs the publicity? gurl please. She got more publicity with Pete in a few months than with Mac in 5 years even AFTER his death.
@@Soph-ts9yb Because she didn't want to deal with an addiction anymore that means she didn't care? She was in a whole relationship with him. Not that long before he died, at that. I swear the logic of some people...
I literally tear up thinking about this whole ordeal. I could not and wish to not feel what Ariana grande was feeling and probably still is feeling. Rip Mac. It’s a damn shame for people to have blamed her.
I’ve never been a huge fan of Ariana, but blaming her for Mac’s death was too far. She clearly loved him. And she had to grieve while also being blamed for something she had tried to help him prevent.
It was a few tweets... and people denounced it when it happened. The narrative that she actually received widespread blame just isn't true. People defending Ariana from the "blame" was the bigger story that day than his actual death.
@@jordancharles8598 That's one tweet alone had over 100k likes. This was a very widespread argument, let's stop rewriting history. She didn't turn off her comments for a "few" tweets
@@kendallcadence2163 The tweet blaming her? No it didn't... And she probably turned her comments off because her ex just DIED, not because of a tweet. The only thing that was widespread was people defending her...
@@jordancharles8598 She turned her comments off because there was a flood of "you murdered Mac" "this is all your fault" etc. I watched this happen in real time, and there are screenshots/articles all showing this. You can go search any of this up 💀
*I agree!!! ARIANA IS NOT TO BLAME. We need to blame these Major Labels for making these industry sacrifices. Why do you think the labels put a Life Insurance Policy on they artists? its so they can get a big payout on a famous celebrity's death. that poor woman. imagine loosing the man you love more than you love yourself after years of trying to help him then the whole internet blames you for his death. i’m sure at one point she even started blaming herself. i will never forgive the internet for how they treated ariana. i’m glad she finally got her happily ever after, after years of pain.
@@DeathtotheAshes Must be the type of person you are. If getting millions of dollars will suddenly make you get over the sudden death of a long time friend and ex lover- you're a weirdo.
Lets just say she did end up staying in the relationship with him because “thats what she should’ve done, stick by him through it all”. She could’ve ended up depressed and doing drugs and killed herself of overdose or suicide because she felt like there was no escape from the situation. And I feel in my soul that people would’ve been saying, “she shouldve left him, she was stupid to stay in a toxic relationship, oh she should’ve done what was best for her.” Like I feel like either way they just wanted to blame her and hate on her.
Most of the time, I hate when RU-vid reactors pause the video so many times but I don't mind when Dee does it because she's always on point. Great takes.
Damn imagine being blamed for the death of someone you love and are mourning... sooo messed up. Who holds other ppl accountable for someone's actions, b!tch I'm not a puppet master.🙁 But Dee's nails tho🔥
I’m one of those people that’s high everyday 😂. But I’m the opposite. It relaxes me so much that I’m able to do any & everything without complaining or feeling stressed or anxious. When I’m not smoking I be ready for the day to be over lol, and I have 0 appetite. I work remote in sales and I’m usually high at work 90% of the time because it helps me feel comfortable with building rapport. Everyone is different tho, some people really can’t function if they’re high, I become a busy body 😅
I'm the exact same love. I have a debilitating severe anxiety disorder that usually smoking eases immensely and also helps with my appetite. Whenever I'm not high yes I can manage, but life is not very fun lol. I'll be constantly on edge, little to no appetite, anxiety looming, it's hell, and yes I'm in therapy and take meds but those only do so much. Smoking everyday is certainly not for everyone, but everyone's body functions differently, some can handle it, some can't. At the end of the day do what you gotta do
Being accused of Mac’s death only one year after the Manchester incident was probably so overwhelming. I’m not a fan of Ariana but god you have to admit that woman has gone through so much.
I just learned today that she’s watching over his dog & I think that’s so sweet of her 🥺 but to say it was her fault it just ridiculous, he’s struggled with drugs for a while….to blame her is ridiculous
I remember when this all happened. She was devastated by his death. He was there when that bombing took place and he really supported her through that. She was still struggling with that and then he passed and that took a toll on her. People don't care how their words affect you. She had to turn those comments off. Her own fans were supporting her but their supportive comments were overshadowed by all the hate comments. Even Pete Davidson said after their relationship that he was trying to be supportive even though he felt some type of way about that. No one is obligated to stay with anyone and especially when they're struggling with mental health and addiction issues. Being a supportive person is good but not to your own detriment. That person is going to do what they're going to do and trying to love them back to health isn't realistic. I'm glad she was able to get through that. Hell for a long time she struggled performing Thank You, Next because every time she'd sing about Mac Miller she got very emotional. I'm glad things are better for her and she's happily married now.
You can’t be another person’s life raft. People need the space to be flawed, to fuck up, to focus on themselves, recharge, etc. we can’t be perfect and we can’t be everything you require all the time.
I have loved Mac and Ariana for 10 years now and when shit hit the fan that Ariana was blamed I was beyond upset that people went too far with it. The fact that people still think that Ariana was the one that ended the relationship shocks me but news flash to those people that don't read shit before sending hate to others. Mac was the one that ended that relationship, people need to sit down and grow tf up.
this whole situation was so messed up..she even said she tried to help him multiple times but in the end it was too much for her to handle..and Mac's friends said he was doing better since the breakup, he had a girlfriend and all..but people miss the fact that two men were arrested for selling him the wrong stuff causing Mac's overdose..he never knew what was gonna happen to him to complete the Ariana line, there's a video called Ariana talks about (depression, anxiety and ptsd) or something like that, it's basically all the pain she had/has to come through, squashed in a 13 min video
It’s crazy how some of his fans blamed her, even went as far to threaten her life. She’s still dealing with a stalker who (again) showed up outside her house with a knife last year. Luckily she wasn’t home, but he is the same guy who blamed her for Mac’s death. He stood outside telling her security that he was looking for her so he could kill her. She was finally able to get a restraining order against him after this out of fear for her life. What’s scary is this wasn’t the first incident with the guy either.
I remember watching a show that ends exactly like this... Sad that some people just judge what they haven't been through or know and keep running them mouth talking shi about others.
Ariana’s friends said before Mac’s death that Ariana wouldn’t sleep ever on her dangerous woman tour because she was up the entire night worried mac would OD.
The fact ppl still think she’s genuinely a murderer or that she murders him is beyond me. Ppl expect her to stay in a toxic relationship if she stayed she probably wouldn’t be ok mentally at all and Mac probably would have spiraled out even then knowing he couldn’t make her happy anymore and he would have probably felt guilt and made that choice. Or Ariana would have started spiraling out as well.
I hope Mac is in a better place and Ariana is able to continue healing and have a healthy relationship with her husband, it was a really sad situation from the outside, I can't imagine what it was like firsthand
And look at her now still out her playing with mens emotions just broke up some random guys marriage recently smh she need help she need to be stopped foreal
i have a friend who’s a huge mac fan and for yearrsss she blamed ariana. i argue w this friend bc she was in a relationship with a guy who’s been in and out of rehab for drug addiction. like SHE SHOULD UNDERSTAND it’s not easy to be in relationships with these ppl and it’s not a responsibility to take account for. i think she recently opened her eyes but still. i hates to hear the hate so much. i just for Ari
People were literally blaming her in the instagram comments which made her feel so guilty about what happened to the point of her calling Mac's phone hundreds of times when she found out he was dead.
Cause I don’t feel like that when I’m high lmao, I actually feel the opposite it’s easier for me to focus and stay in a better energetic mood when I’m high, when I’m sober it’s boring, I just sit and overthink and take things to serious and I lowkey have less energy while I’m sober so it’s harder to get things done.
Can’t blame anybody for someone else’s choices . I don’t know the details of their story, but if she cheated on him & got engaged a month later then i don’t think those situations would help an addiction. But ultimately it was on him to get the help regardless of what she did . RIP 🙏🏽
@@lol-ot4pn Except he didn't really "openly support" her, he just refused to say anything bad about her while doing a press interview promoting his album.
Even if she did cheat; nobody forced him to take drugs. I don’t believe in overdose. Just suicide. Whether it was accidental or otherwise, welp. It’s drugs, not vitamins.
@@jordancharles8598 uhhh, he posted multiple instagram stories of him listening to her Sweetener album (released August 2018) and even congratulated her on the release. i'd say that's very much openly supporting her.
They literally broke up AFTER he relapsed too. She had been the reason he’d stayed sober for so long (his friend stated in an interview) but that was the issue. His friend even stated that she’d stay up some nights keeping track of him to make sure that he was staying sober. When you deal with a drug addict, the only way they will stay sober is if they want to. Depending your sobriety on somebody else never works and isn’t healthy. It’s not healthy for either party involved.
after his death they found 997 missed calls from ariana on his phone. i can’t imagine what she felt when she found out. the disbelief, regret, not knowing what to do… man🥲
You can only help someone that is willing to accept your help. Aside from that you are basically playing god and doing something you want just cause you think its better but without consent.
Mac and Ariana kept it good after the break up. The general public made this dumb narrative. Mac was even hooking up with others already just as Ariana was in her relationship with Pete.
It's not her fault but whoever created this video focused on Mac's fans attacking her but didn't even mention all the Ariana Grande fans who made fun of Mac and called him a junkie after they broke up but then turned around and called him an angel after he died.
Ariana didn't tell or force this Mac person to the drugs right? So it's not her fault then either she is being framed by a imposter or He chose to do the drugs as a coping mechanism which means she is not to be blamed.
@@silkyjohnson7599 I respect everyone especially the Mac Miller dude who was over the situation afterwards but even then Ariana Grande is innocent like yo I really was so mad at these salt in wound monsters. But yeah Rip Mac thanks for being my dream girlfriend's pal and partner.
I do gotta agree that she wasn’t to blame for his death. He did not commit suicide he didn’t know the drugs were laced. I as a big fan of him understand why he used drugs listen to his music and you’ll find out. A depressed mind like Mac and I try to escape from our own thoughts. Therefore he started using drugs to escape from these scary thoughts and everything else that comes with depression. Sometimes people think they’re just doing drugs to be stupid but truth is you never know what people are going thru. I feel bad for Ariana though because she didn’t deserve to be treated the way she was treated after his passing. They really did love each other’s. They was soulmates. I’m glad Ariana found her happiness. I like to think that Mac sent her, her now husband from heaven. As for Mac I wish someone could’ve been there that moment he OD he probably would’ve been alive. I wish we can be more aware of peoples cry for help. I wish he knew how much we his fans love him and miss him.
To be fair folk not blaming her for him Over dosing she was Blamed for making songs very shortly after the break up talking mad shit bout Mac and then turning around a few months later and married Pete (well engaged) she could’ve at lest waiting a year before dropping max dis tracks knowing he deals with depression and self loathing she was moving not thinking of the cause and effect of her actions (and if you already seen this person struggling with depression And drug abuse why in the world would you date that before healing it smh)
not true. fans were completely blaming her for his OD. her comments were spammed with "it's your fault" after he passed. and btw, Ari never made any songs talking bad about Mac. the only song she ever made about him after the break-up was Better Off, and then after his passing, Ghostin'.
where tf did she talked sht about him??? you ppl are loud asf while not even knowing wtf y’all talking about and a artist making songs about THEIR personal life and experiences is NOT new nor is it profiting off his death/break up
Oh heavens no, I will lay in the bed all day until I roll a blunt.. and then I’ll get up, cut on some music, start cleaning.. before I shower, eat, go to the store, I’m always smoking because it just makes me calm
For me personally, I low key have crippling depression and if I don’t smoke I literally won’t do anything fr. Weed isn’t for everyone tho, it affects everyone differently

Personally I can't be high either but I have friends that can function perfectly right after smoking and go to their jobs to work, meanwhile I would have to call off of work if I smoked beforehand 💀
