I have a container worker app which needs to scale out based on storage queue size, so auto-scaling is going to be the killer feature for me.

Good intro, thank you. We very much look forward to leveraging ACA.. We will would need a production capable environment by mid January. Is there a sense as to when this would likely go GA? Also any sense if/when this would integrate with Azure Static Apps? Finally how would we be protected from DDOS and the costs associated with that if such were to occur as far as number of service hits?

Thanks, glad you liked it! It’s only just gone into Preview at MS Ignite (early November ish) so I’d be super surprised if it was GA by January. Jeff Hollan on Twitter is a great evangelist for ACA, highly recommend following him for updates if you’re not already. Good point about DDoS, but I guess this is a danger with any pay-per-request model. May be an idea to put something like Cloudflare in front of your infrastructure?
