Many basement bathrooms have gaping holes underneath the showers and/or tubshowers to accommodate the drain lines. These places can cause a lot of suction loss with our radon systems.
Most of us don't need an endoscope on a daily basis, but when you do- they could save you thousands of dollars in unnecessary demolition as I'll show you in this video.

Started following your videos in hopes to see something on high suction. I have a basement with no gravel and high compaction sitting no more than 6" off the bedrock (sandstone). I've pulled out 15gal of dirt already (using a rotary drill to break into sandstone). Do you have any additional videos on how you tackle these?

Next question: I've been looking through your video's for the setting of the pipe into the basement slab after you remove some fill. Is you pipe just entering the floor and sealed or are you letting it sit on something to remove hanging stress? Thanks, Love the Videos.

Hi Gary. Mine just hang glued in from the 90 degree fitting from above and I seal them into the floor around the pipe. I've noticed some installers in New Jersey run the pipe down the nearest wall and clamp them to it, then kick it out right before sealing it into the hole in the floor. That way is no doubt superior ,but I've had no trouble with the ways shown in my videos.

What hole saw size is needed to drill and run a 3" PVC radon exhaust pipe out through the house roof?

The pitch of the roof will be a factor. The easiest way I know of is to start out with a larger diameter hole saw like 4&1/2." The hole might evolve into an elipse by having to carve out slivers here or there but saws over 4" ususally get it done pretty efficiently for me.

Hi Gary. Here is the link for the drywall access panel from www.Lowes.com www.lowes.com/search?searchTerm=drywall%20access%20panels I've always found them in their plumbing section. They usually have a couple smaller sizes too.
