Frieza already had his empire in place before Beerus showed up. Beerus works alone as the destroyer but since Frieza was ruling that part of space, he made the suggestion to Frieza to do it because of the distance and ofc Frieza wasn't going to say no to Beerus, the Saiyan uprising with Bardock was basically the trigger since they defied Frieza.

Beerus definitely gained respect for the Saiyans after meeting Goku and Vegeta and seeing their continuous progress. There is no way he would have tolerated their presence at his planet if he didn’t. That is the real tragedy of the Dragon Ball story that none of the Saiyans of the past have a clue how high their sons have risen, only Broly’s father Paragus caught a glimpse of their ascendancy but his thirst for revenge most likely clouded his mind from seeing this astonishing progress by the remaining members of his son’s generation, the last pure blood Saiyans.
Yeah they aren't the last pure blood Saiyans. All the Saiyan "half-breeds" are pure Saiyan. 1) the Saiyan genes are too strong, think Invincible. 2) their fathers are so strong the kid's max power level is already 20x the base power level of a regular Saiyan at birth. 3) They can all just instinctively go Super Saiyan 3 before they turn 10 years old. They basically have no human characteristics whatsoever. They have empathy, but that is nurture not nature, otherwise Goku and Vegeta wouldn't be that way. But they all have insane Saiyan pride and extreme anger issues which is nature. Even soyboi Gohan falls to it when he isn't falling to his bad sheltered nurturing and worrying about what others think of him.
@@The-OneGuyactually, the original purpose of goku being sent to earth was to grow up and overthrow the planets leaders and ready sanctum aka earth as a conquered planet for the saiyans. Hell, even raditz showed up confused and pissed when he saw the opposite. But yes, individual saiyans were sent out to "lower level planets" to conquer it on their own for the king. A prideful act by the saiyans and the king.

Looking back it makes sense. Freeza’s soldiers were asking him why he was going to eradicate all the saiyans given they were some of the best warriors to offer in the business. Besides his skepticism of one day the saiyans rebelling beerus giving him the green light gives him that extra encouragement to do it
In Bardock: The Father of Goku, Frieza wipes out the Saiyans for their growing potential in power. In Dragon Ball Super: All because King Vegeta tried to act sneaky and give Beerus the 2nd best pillow.
Beerus is such a good character just cause he's consistent. He's literally so merciful to those to show him respect. It's sad, but Beerus made an example of King Vegeta which Vegeta saw and learnt from, playing a huge part in saving Earth when Beerus first visited. And showing how Beerus beat up Buu, who was too immature to defer, was great contrast. It was actually such spectacular growth to see Vegeta try to play diplomat, and humble himself to ask for training. These are some of the best parts about DB Super

I think it was to show how prideful the saiyans were. If you were so prideful you couldn't give the most comfortable pillow on your planet to a god who could wipe out your planet in an instant. God knows what you would do to those you consider beneath you.
