It's absolutely fascinating that when you say 'non-binary doesn't exist' people react with: 'so I don't exist?' this is their whole identity. They don't have anything else. They only have their gender ideology. They have no likes and dislikes, they don't have interests, they only have that idea what they are and make that the entire center of their life and personality. It's scary. Just look at the reactions on this video. That's the first thing all of them say in their reaction. If you dare say that this concept might not exist, they interpret that as you telling them, they don't exist. How can that be healthy?

Thank u Misha for making videos like these and speak truth in this chaotic society. As an Asian luckily we don't have this culture here, it's insane to see all this, I play a video game called splatoon, the splatoon community uses twitter, and literally 8/10 of the people have gender/sexuality/pronouns in bio, some have weird pronouns like fae/faer, xe/xer... I don't know what started it all but I think the environment they grew up in affects them by a lot. Like if u are a kid with loving parents that work, cook and care for u, u have friends and hobbies, whether it be sports, drawing, reading, musical instruments, dancing, chess or whatever, if a kid have goals and hobbies and activities and friends the only thing they'll think about is being excited for tmr, excited to hangout with their friends, they will never even think of "I'm born in the wrong body".. But now we have so much kids that have no friends, no goals, no hobbies, goes on the internet and literally have no personality other than talking about their gender and sexuality, even though they never had sex they dont like being straight, they make up pronouns that's wrong in the English vocabulary and force u to acknowledge it.. u can't disagree or you're sexist transphobe There's too much to put into words, but seeing the trans people who regret it, people who get infections and open stitches and fucked up voices it's just so so wrong to glorify it. There's a difference between accepting and glorifying and promoting.. The internet and media plays a big part in all this and it's poisoning our generation Thank u for doing what u do misha

I honestly have a hard time understanding gender dysphoric people. Because as a guy, I’ve never not felt like a guy. I just don’t like all the things that males stereotypically like. And I’ve liked things that females typically like (For example, I played with barbies as a kid) - but I’ve still always just been a guy. I mean, what if I loved Japanese culture? Loved the stereotypical food, lifestyle, culture in general, would that make me Japanese? The sad part is now there are people who are using racial stereotypes to say they are a different race - but most people aren’t okay with that - but it’s like, when is they line drawn?
@x.star3779
@x.star3779 Год назад
@@tiamod I also had a hard time understanding what this was all about because you never really got to hear an explanation. For me I just heard that those people identified as that and that they feel more comfortable being called like that. As for your question I think it’s due to the gender roles that are put onto us, so e.g. women have to cook, take care of the children & the household, play with dolls and etc while boys are taught that they need to manly, strong. And so when you’re e.g a boy, who likes playing with dolls it wouldn’t be uncommon for your environment to be against because that’s now what boys should play with, which results into you feeling suppressed and not being able to express who you are because of those gender norms. That’s why it’s not uncommon for those that felt this way to develop a gender dysphoria, the belief that you don’t align with your biological gender, because everyone tells you that what you’re doing is wrong, confusing you what type of gender you really have or if you actually have one. These people feel more comfortable identifying as non-binary because they don‘t really feel like their biological sex.

Great video Misha. I would say: Non-binary is nonsentical and ideology term. It doesn't exist. It is a social construct. These people could be divided into four groups: 1) Confused and manipulated people who are unsure of their own personality and can't/can't accept fate and be who they were born to be. They are looking for an escape because they might be suffering from non-acceptance, or internalized misogyny and misandry. 2) Truly mentally ill people who require psychiatric care. Whether it is dissociative personality disorder, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, etc. 3) Clowns and narcissists. People who present themselves as non-binary in show business because it brings them publicity and financial profit. People who tend to shock the public or think of themselves as something extraordinary. Which is completely against equality. The worst of them appear as fanatics and sociopaths, and their motivation is hatr*d and resentment towards other people and do it for feel yourself superiority. It is necessary to help the first and the second. Do psychological, psychiatric and social treatment and take to save them before toxic ideology. And the third? Completely reject and stay against. I cannot respect their non-binary label and demands for recognition in any way, any more than I can respect someone who preaches creationism or who will claim that the sun revolves around the earth. Their demands for recognition are mirages and fairy tales. Opinion is not knowledge. Being non-binary is a belief and not a fact. It thus exists at most in bacteria and primitive fungi and algae. All vertebrates are gonochorists, which have only two types of sex (male and female). PS: Intersex people are not a third gender (just as intergalactic space is not another galaxy, but only interspace), they are people who carry the signs of both (two) genders at the same time. I will be accused of being embyph*bic, but truth and reality are more important to me than someone's feelings.

And more on that, if we are currently expanding on old genders we still don't have any research or understanding how that relates to mental health. Speaking as a zoologist, differences between genders in all species has been primarily about reproductive biology. When humans had enough children to replace their numbers, this obviously applied to us as well…also in humans the difference in skull sizes between the sexes is never mentioned… men have larger heads and it’s a definitive marker.. transitioners in general have to live with the fact they are dependent on the good will of those around them..for the rest of their lives.

The first person says he doesn't fit into the definition or a man or a woman. Really? A human being with both X and Y chromosomes is male, and a human being with only X chromosomes is female. A man is a male, adult human being. And a woman is a female, adult human being. What part of those definitions is he unable to comply with? And having the mentality of a 3 year old doesn't count. I'm talking about a person's physical age when I say adult. So, he can't use that as a loophole. And I disagree with the chart saying NonBinary=Freedom. It should say NonBinary=Insanity. People trying to "identify" as things they clearly are not is just a case of confused people being out of touch with reality. I'm not saying that they don't have legitimate problems. I'm just saying that those problems are better dealt with by a psychiatrist rather than a surgeon.

I agree with you to some degree but I still got an odd feeling watching your video. I'm not a non binary, even though I'm a woman who always got along better with men for having more things in common with them. And whenever I hear non binary people speak I notice the same you do, they feel they don't have a gender or are both genders only because they have internalized the stereotypical gender roles they claim they are so over with, they identify every little thing as male or female and when they don't feel they comply to those roles, they conclude they must not have a gender. But aren't they just assuming those "female" and "male" things are inherent to genders? Instead of seeing they are contingent and made up by society. So if you are a girl who doesn't like pink, then you can't be a girl. If you are a boy who likes makeup, then you can't be a boy. I have a very "manly" mindset even though I'm a woman, this is because I never liked following imposed expectations of behaviors assigned to my gender, this doesn't mean my mindset is actually male. So I totally agree with you on that. I also agree that raising kids as non binary is harmful to them because, again, it makes them believe contingent things are inherently male or female, legitimizing gender roles. And more importantly, because they might end up getting dangerous and irreversible medical procedures. That's to the extent I agree with you. Now, invalidating other people's mental health issues saying it's not your responsibility, is, well, very irresponsible. People's feelings do matter and being respectful to them doesn't mean you have to agree, only means you respect their liberty to make choices. Who cares if they aren't choices you'd make yourself? I mean, most non-binary people won't end up raising kids, so I don't believe that's the reason why you get so passionate about contradicting them. Why do you care so much about their choices to the point of using value judgement adjectives? (eg. "ridiculous"). To the point if not caring if they get mental breakdowns due to discrimination? I don't know, whenever I hear someone claiming to be logical yet getting so passionate about other people's mostly harmless choices, and not caring about how that might impact their life negatively, all I see is someone who actually has a very conservative, actually harmful, mindset. A discriminatory mindset against those who aren't like you. I'm critical of lots of aspects of "woke" culture, I don't speak my mind up most of the time, though. Not because I think I'd offend "woke" people. Instead, because I don't want to be associated with proto-fascists people. Woke people might become annoying, but proto-fascist people are actually dangerous.

This is a great video. I agree with EVERY word. The ‘non-binary’ identity is rarely called out and dissected like this. It is nonsensical and regressive and just reinforces sex-based stereotypes. I always ask, “What material difference is there between a gender nonconforming person” (for instance an unusually masculine female, or a tomboy girl) “who *doesn’t* identify as non-binary, and a self-declared non-binary person?” What makes the non-binary person any *more* “non-binary” than the classic example of a gender noncomforming person? The ONLY difference is the self-declaration. And of what value is THAT? I have never gotten an answer to this question, because there is no answer for it that doesn’t expose the ludicrousness of NB. By the way, another thing that the anime avatar crowd likes to crow about, is how “non-binary people don’t *owe* you androgyny.” And how “identity is different from expression/presentation.” That gives even more cover to people who just want to declare themselves NB without having to change a single thing- the most masculine man imaginable could just call himself NB, and we’re supposed to agree and affirm that he is, somehow, *not* a man. I’m sorry, WHAT? And this affects so many people, because it means that self-declared NB males can claim spots set aside for women, “trans-femme”, “non-binary” people that, were it not for gender ideology’s tentacles, would ordinarily be set aside for *actual* females. I hate to call out someone personally, but there’s a TikTok user who goes by the name August MacDermaid (not his real name), who has been LARPing as a NB (and thereby ‘trans’) person, who goes by ‘they/them’ pronouns, and presents and expresses himself in the most stereotypically masculine ways imaginable. He even threatened to fist fight anyone on Twitter who disrespected his NB/trans identity (how unmanly of him, right?). I at first thought he was trolling. I cannot respect this nonsensical identity. It’s offensive and harmful and totally invalid, and I will debate ANYONE who disagrees. It is also something that DOES NOT deserve ‘protected status’, recognized by the government or various employers, etc. Hell no. No way. It is meaningless, so why is it deserving of respect or recognition at all? It’s a DUMB fad mostly attracting teens and narcissistic young people.

@@slacktoryrecords4193 I’m not quite sure, you could easily ask why you identify with your gender. But i can give a rough idea of why? I don’t understand gender in relation to my own self. If I look at myself with either a female or male lense… it doesn’t seem like who I actually am. Just like how you may think of yourself as one specific gender, i have no idea what gender you are so i’m not assuming, I think of myself without gender. Not a male not a female, similar to how people would view a crowd of people. The crowd of people doesn’t have a specific gender, even if majority of that crowd are females, you probably wouldn’t say that crowd has a gender. While Yes, this essentially just means I am a “self declared” non-binary person, I want to propose the question. What makes my self-identification any different from a binary person? Is it biology? Because I do accept that AGAB will never change and I can only change my secondary sex characteristics, However I don’t accept that my self identification is any less than a binary trans person, or even a binary cis person. What makes binary cis people more justified in their identification with their assigned gender? Is it because they were assigned that at birth? Doesn’t that invalidate binary trans people? I see you understand the difference between gender, self expression, and sex, and can separate them, but invalidating non-binary people relies on gender essentialism. Which if you didn’t know, is the belief that gender is the same as sex. Which is fine if you believe, however it’s a shaky argument and has been debunked. I could explain the criticisms of gender essentialism if you’d like?
@slacktoryrecords4193
@slacktoryrecords4193 Год назад
@@yourmom1368 Well, the fundamental difference between you and me is that I reject the very idea of ‘gender’ as you’re using it. I understand some people - starting with trans-identified people, about a hundred years ago - have this idea that the ‘gender’ of a person is separate from their sex, but that concept really only came into being in the middle of the last century, when sexologists conjured it to explain why trans-identified people felt the way they did. What followed from that was the idea that everyone has a “gender identity” that either aligns with their sex (99+% of people) or doesn’t. But this was just a theory that was proposed; there’s no reason to think it can be broadly applied to every human. Most people do not have a carefully considered notion of their own “gender” (i.e. a “gender identity”), they just ARE the sex that they are. Anything layered on top of that sex is just personality, and there is of course a wide range of phenotypes and expressions, dispositions, etc., with considerable overlap between the sexes. But that’s just being human. In recent decades, the push from certain segments of academia and activist groups has been to reify this idea of a “gender identity” which is supposed to be a separate concept from sex. This is done in part as a sort of charity toward trans-identified people, to normalize the idea of a gender identity that *could* be separate from sex. But just because there are some people who experience severe dysphoria about their sexed body, or wish they weren’t their sex, or-like you, I presume - have spent a lot of time carefully thinking about whether or not they ‘feel’ male or female, doesn’t mean that *everyone* has put that level of thought into it. I don’t have a “gender identity,” I just AM the sex that I am, and everything else on top of that is just my personality. I can’t possibly say I’m “not a man” or “not a woman” or that I don’t feel like either one, because how could I? ‘Man’ is just the word for the adult version of a human male. Whether I “feel like” one or not, doesn’t matter. It’s just reality. I don’t know what it “feels like” to be a man, because I don’t know what it “feels like” to be a woman, so how would I know if my perception of myself *as a man* is accurate or not? To me, the idea of ‘interrogating my gender’ is just an academic thought exercise that has no real-world utility, and wouldn’t change *anything* about my life or how others perceive me. So what’s the point? When you identify yourself as non-binary, how does that affect your life or the way you suppose others perceive you? In what sense are you opting out of womanhood or girlhood, and what is materially different, in a practical sense? What is it about you that makes you think you’re “not a woman” or “not a man”? I hope I’ve explained this well enough. What I’m understanding is that, to somewhat mature people who can talk about ‘non-binary’ as an identity at all, it doesn’t have anything to do with stereotypes. So what *does* it have to do with? I hope my questions come off as respectful. You seem like a thoughtful, genuine person and I hope you don’t mind my prodding. Thanks for reading, if you’ve made it this far! Can I just say, ever since the LGBTQ+ community has progressed over the years, it’s not only confusing but ridiculous at this point. This is no disrespect to anyone in the community, but rather what comes of it. One of them being the they/them pronouns. My uncle pointed this out once. If you were in a hospital, the doctors and nurses would recognize you as male, female, man, woman, girl and boy. Because that’s how it’s always been biologically. They wouldn’t be able to recognize any other pronouns other than he/his she/her. Even a police officer or paramedic wouldn’t have the time nor I doubt, be interested in what pronouns you carry. They’re just there to do their job and move on to the next one. Also, what even is the they/them pronouns suppose to mean? Because in the English dictionary, they them refers to more than one person. So when someone uses pronouns of they/them, in what universe does that makes sense? You’re basically calling yourself more than one person or plural to put it bluntly. That’s from my observation. This is just my opinion & I’ll say it because I’ve met so many people in the community who have been sensitive to what I’ve said above. Because the they/them pronouns sounds as though we have to once again cater to their needs of calling them the right pronouns. Like come on, is it truly that important or necessary? Because it’s once again another title/label that you’re putting on yourself. I always imagine that when we label, we’re like test subjects, zoo animals or grocery items. Because those things all have labels and they’re always changing, whether that be big or small. So feel free to disagree down below if you’d like.

Transgender just means you don't identify with the gender you were assigned as so you transition into who you truly are, therefore nonbinary trans people can and do exist. Gender is simply a spectrum, what you may mean by "you can clearly tell what they are when you first meet them" is sex, male or female. Sex and gender are different. Many nonbinary people do struggle with dysphoria.

Thank you SO much. I agree to everything. I've been talking to my therapist about this today, and telling her why it's so confusing. We've moved away from the old traditional ways. Women and men can be anything they want. 'She' and 'He' ONLY tells me what body type you have. **NOT who you ARE.** There is no place to put They/Them. They're off in the Bermuda Triangle somewhere, so there's no way to know where to start with them. It's so nice to know that I am not alone in thinking this way. Of course, I respect how someone wants to be treated. If someone wants to be called they/them, fine. I will respect it and treat them how they want. That's called common courtesy to not be a total dick to someone. Duh. Non-binary makes zero sense, because in today's world, 'she' and 'he' are ONLY referring to the generic base body type someone has - either a feminine form or a masculine form. The social expectations attached to those pronouns **don't have to exist unless you want them to.** I'm 42. I'm a millennial. I have never been a "traditional" woman. Not even back when I was little and my mom put me in dresses and bows. Yes, I looked adorable, yes I kind of liked them at the time, but the dress would be dirty inside of 5 seconds of letting me outside. Because mud is squishy and feels good between my toes. :) I dug up worms. I brought home frogs and lizards. I ruined so many dresses that my parents stopped buying them. I've never fit in with them. I'm not on the Mom path, or the happy homemaker path, or the Husband Hunting path. I don't like wearing dresses or makeup. I'd rather climb trees and get muddy than go to a club. I don't chase boys (I'm demi-heteroromantic-ace) a tomboy -demi-girl, whatever - who does not feel like a "woman" but I'm not a "man." I know I'm female. I'm a girl. I'm a human. I dress how I want and do what I want, and don't follow the old ways, because being forced to adhere to a certain role is honestly just dumb. This goes for men, too. Expected to be something you're not is just dumb. Plain and simple. All it is is people trying to control you. So, screw them. Be a man who wears nail polish and collects swords. (I, a woman, actually do collect swords. I'm not kidding. I own multiple swords.) By all definitions, I'm non-binary. But I'm not. I'm a girl of the 21st century being true to who I am. Not the 1950's pressured into getting married so I can have a bank account my husband has to cosign on, and popping out kids. I'm a she/her in a hoodie and flip flops giving the finger to traditional expectations. That would make me non-binary. She/her just means I have huge knockers and a vajayjay. It does NOT mean I'm happy being barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. Actually, don't ever allow me in the kitchen. Despite trying, I can make pasta and pancakes. Everything else is microwaved. Being a she/her means that I love sci-fi, I have a plushy addiction, I love Star Wars, I hate bugs, I love to go fast - the faster the better, I'm terrified of spiders, I'll cry at a romantic movie, I'll throw chips at the screen when my favorite team screws up, I can't cook or bake (do not let me in the kitchen or there will be fire), I prefer to wear hoodies and pants, dresses feel like a costume (even though I like the skirts fan out when I twirl. That, and in summer, they are super breezy), heels make my legs look bomb but they hurt like hell, I live in flip flops, I like pretty things, my room is in soft and relaxing lighter tones, I'm a savage beast when gaming and will shoot first while running into battle screaming without a plan fueled by the blood lust, I'll be the first one to offer up bandaids and food and healing and comfort in any way that I can, and I curse like a drunken sailor going through a nasty divorce. THAT is what it means to be she/her. I am a she/her/human in a world that recognizes that people have different interests, likes, and dislikes. You got a sub, because you're one of the few intelligent people I've seen who actually sees past all this nonsense to reality.

Guess what, few month ago she revealed to me that she doesnt have a good relationship with feminine stuff cuz when she was a kid she used to get abused by her relativs cuz of it, and she told me she would like to go to therapy one day, so she can be more in touch with her feminine side. I belive here are actual trans people, but i also believe most of the teenagers who say all these stuff about being non_binary might suffer from other issues like childhood truama or not taking care of their mental health enough, and instead of acknowledging that they have an issue, they prefer to go from the easy way of: yeah im different, there's no changing that, and i deserve respect for it, dont say offensive stuff to me.

You seem to know an awful lot about how other people 'feel'. I'm of the boomer gen and have known for 55 years I'm non-binary, complete with dysphoria and discrimination. I know many non-binaries across the generations. So I'm sorry, it isn't just a Gen Z 'new' phenomenon although you'd like that to be so to fit your narrative. Gen Z just happens to be far more informed on the issue. I can't speak for all non-binaries but I'll give you my perspective. I'm sure you've heard this before, but all genders are 'made up'. Of course there are people who are a 'tomboy' or a 'bit iffeminate'. For some this goes much deeper and they might also identify as non-binary. Some won't. Some non-binary people fit neither of those stereotypes. It is precisely the position of many non-binaries that gender has been artificially polarised by society to conform with the main sexes and they don't buy into it. Nor are they obliged to. It's this extreme, socially constructed dichotomy that is one of the key problematic issues for many non-binaries who reject it. To deny the existence of non-binary gender is also ableist as it denies the existence of neurodivergent conditions such as autism, where for a sizeable chunk of autistic people, non-binary gender is an integral part of their condition. And it challenges the existence of intersex people who can present with a range of gender. But of course that's only a couple of things you haven't considered because they're way too complex for your rather childlike, simplistic model. By describing and accepting androgyny you've acknowledged gender is a spectrum. As a non-binary, I regard myself by definition as being under the transgender umbrella. I fully embrace and respect all genders, including normative genders and all transgender people. I even respect the tiny minority of trans folk who sadly don't accept non-binary as valid. I'm not seeking 'affirmation' as I don't need anyone's permission to be who I am. Whilst non-binary gender currently lags behind other genders, it is becoming more widely recognised and accepted and like it or not, will eventually enjoy the same status as binary genders.
@annikacarilyn
@annikacarilyn Год назад
I’m autistic, don’t speak for me about questioning non-binary identities as being ableist. It’s not a diagnostic criterion nor a symptom of being autistic (even if these identities may be more common among the autistic community) and it’s not ableism to question it. Takes away from real ableism to say so,
@nakedenby
@nakedenby Год назад
@@annikacarilyn At no point did I say I was speaking for ALL autistics so calm down. It is now well established that 25% of autistics are gender or/and sexuality divergent. You are clearly not up to date as many diagnosticians indeed now take gender and sexuality variance into account as 'soft' signs when assessing for autism. There's more to an assessment than reading DSM5. Just as gender clinics now screen for autism. As I said (and you failed to read) that's a sizable chunk of autistics. If you aren't one of them then this doesn't concern you but such an unambiguous link points to a biological connection. It's unfortunate if that makes you uncomfortable. Denying the existence of autistic non cis/het people is ableist and that doesn't in the slightest subtract from ableism, any more than denying the existence of intersex trans people does. I am a medical professional with experience of autism assessing, and a gender divergent autistic.

Here is the REAL truth about Gay and Transgenderism: It is NOT about chromosomes (the XX or the XY) or the BODY, it is about the STRUCTURE of the human brain. A Doctor with a Ph.D. in Genetics and his team did research on the STRUCTURE of the human brain. They studied the brain of straight women and straight men, gay women, and gay men, as well as transgendered women and transgendered men. What they found is this, the STRUCTURE of the brain between a male and a female is as different from each other as night is from the day. They also found that there are two distinct and separate areas of the brain that deal with sexuality and gender. They found that the area for sexual orientation in gay men is STRUCTURED the same as in straight women, NOT straight men, and in gay women, that area is STRUCTURED the same as in straight men, NOT straight women. Likewise, the center in the brain that deals with gender identity is the same, in transgender women (male to a female) it is STRUCTURED the same as in cis-women, (born and identify as female) NOT cis-men, (born and identify as male), and in transgender men, (female to male) it is STRUCTURED the same as in cis-men, NOT cis-women. It has been STRUCTURED this way since BEFORE birth. Two other teams in different parts of the world doing the same study all independent of each other found the exact same results. When a baby is first formed in the womb it is formed 100% female. Then after a few weeks, a signal from the father's genes tells the baby's body, the body only, to change and become male. The baby goes on for a few more weeks this way until it can produce a massive amount of the male hormone testosterone, which then tells the brain to change into the male pattern, such a massive amount will never be seen in that Child's life again except at the onset of puberty. If for some reason that baby does not get that massive dose of testosterone in the womb then the brain, or parts of it, continues to develop in the female pattern. Or in the case of gay women or Trans men, at some time in the mother's pregnancy that baby received a small dose of testosterone at the wrong time, either the mother ingested it somehow or her body produced it or the baby’s own body produced it all of which can and have happened. When a baby is being formed in the womb, any variation, even in the slightest, of the chemicals can cause birth defects. You have seen these birth defects in babies being born all the time, some born blind, or deaf, born with missing limbs, or heart problems, or even with a spine outside of the body, and many, many others. So why is it so hard for the right to believe that a person’s BRAIN can be STRUCTURED in the opposite way from what their bodies say they should be? You can believe in all other birth defects so why not this? I will use transgender women for this example, even though the body is male she likes all the same things a cis-gender woman likes, her emotional likes, wants and needs are the same as any woman's, and the way she sees the world is the same. Her interactions are the same, everything about her is the same as any cis-gender woman except the body. Sexual characteristics (the body) are set by the genes (the XX or the XY) but Gender is set by the STRUCTURE of the BRAIN, this has been proven through sound scientific study. Gender is how one see themselves and their place in the world and how they interact with it. If your body is set one way and your brain the other it causes a disharmony of mind and body (gender dysphoria) it is not now or ever has been a DELUSION or a PERVERSION or a MENTAL ILLNESS. When someone is going through life with this Dysphoria their life is a living hell, when people tell them that they can't be WHO they are inside because that person is uncomfortable with it then you are forcing the trans person to live in severe PAIN, Anxiety, and Depression, a PAIN that having your arms and legs cut off with a dull rusty hacksaw without any anesthetics seem like nothing in comparison, a pain that kills, LITERALLY KILLS. Think of everything you like and want as a man or a woman, everything that makes you, you, and then think how you would feel if you were constantly told that you can't have it, or be it, or do the things you love, because you are the opposite of who and what you are now, that you must bury everything that makes you, you because other people don't like it because it makes them uncomfortable, If constantly you were told that you were evil and dammed because you are who you are, denied a job, or a home, insulted, belittled, assaulted and even targeted to be KILLED just because you exist, how would you feel? Women, think how would you feel if you were forced to live, think, told to feel like and be a man, And told that you MUST do what men do, how men do it, see things the way men see them in order to be a man and you MUST be a man and that something is wrong with you if you don’t? How would you handle that? Men, think how you would feel if you were forced to live, think, feel, and be a woman? Told that you MUST do what women do, how women do it, see things the way women see them in order to be a woman and you MUST be a woman and that something is wrong with you if you don’t? How would you handle that? A trans woman does NOT fit, in a man’s social circle the same way a man does and yet they are expected to if they do not go through transition, they are expected to think, feel, and act just like any cis-gender man in that circle, but they can’t because their brain is STRUCTURED differently, so they are insulted, belittled beat on ridiculed, and humiliated by these men, constantly, all because their brain is STRUCTURED the same way a cis-gender woman’s brain is STRUCTURED. With their brain being STRUCTURED that way they would fit into a woman’s social circle but with their bodies being male, again they don’t fit in and they are excluded. They want to wear the same outfits the women wear because their brains tell them they should be just like them. Everything inside them SCREAMS that they are just like the people who are of the opposite gender and yet they are NOT allowed to be because other people are uncomfortable with them doing so, so they are FORCED to live in severe PAIN, anxiety, and depression. Trans people just want to be accepted for who they are, they want and are deserving of the very same rights as everyone else, no more and NO LESS. Here is the truth about the road to transition: First, the person MUST go to therapy, no therapy no transition, they will meet with a therapist who has knowledge and experience with transgender people. During this time they will begin social transitioning, social transitioning is nothing more than changing one's name and pronouns, and appearance such as hairstyle and clothing. Then after a number of sessions with the therapist (usually about a year) if the Dysphoria continues, and depending on the age of the person they may be given puberty blockers, (which are reversible). Then after many more sessions with the therapist and again if the Dysphoria continues they may be given hormones, it is these that have irreversible effects. Last: when they reach the age of CONSENT (CONSENT, NOT A KID, NO ONE IS DOING SURGERY ON KIDS) and if the Dysphoria continues, and if they have lived in the gender of their choice for a MINIMUM of 1 full year, and have letters from two therapists with one having a P.HD in psychology with both therapists having seen the person over a period of time they may get a consult from the surgeon, and there is usually a long waiting list for that, after the consult if the surgeon agrees then you get on the long waiting list for the surgery. IF ANYONE TELLS YOU DIFFERENTLY FROM THIS THEY ARE LYING TO YOU. Definition of a woman: How you define a woman is by how she sees herself, a woman is one who sees herself as one in mind and soul. If a person sees themselves as a woman, thinks as a woman, acts as a woman, and lives as a woman, then what is the harm to treat and respect her as one? If you cannot have compassion for another human being then how can you ask others to have compassion for you? Show compassion, empathy, and respect by calling them the name they prefer and with the pronouns they prefer. It does NOT harm you to do so but it does great harm to them when you don’t. Definition of a Man: How you define a man is by how he sees himself, a man is one who sees himself as one in mind and soul. If a person sees themselves as a man, thinks as a man, acts as a man, and lives as a man, then what is the harm to treat and respect him as one? If you cannot have compassion for another human being then how can you ask others to have compassion for you? Show compassion, empathy, and respect by calling them the name they prefer and with the pronouns they prefer. It does NOT harm you to do so but it does great harm to them when you don’t. Some of you reject the LGBTQ community because you have a need to feel morally superior to others, “pull the beam out of your own eyes before you try to pull the mote out of another’s”. Some of you reject the LGBTQ community because you don’t understand it and it fills you with fear, fear of something that is different from what you are used to, different from YOU, either one goes forward or one stagnates and dies, you limit your thinking and can’t or won’t learn, grow, and adapt. Some of you reject the LGBTQ community because you just want to hate and hurt others, it gives you a sick thrill, and you use the LGBTQ as an excuse to do so. But ALL of you who do these are small, weak, insecure, monumentally stupid, and utterly pathetic excuses of human beings.

I think the main problem is that there's not a clear definition for non binary. a lot of times the "symptoms" ig of non binary is just having interests outside of traditional gender norms. wanting to express your self out side of those norms is different than feeling so dysphoric about your biological/ physical sex characteristics that it would be in your best interest to physically change yourself with surgery and medication. And wanting to be seen as someone more than just man or woman and identify first as a human being is a very common and normal feeling that most if not all people feel at some point. Ig my point is it can be difficult to tell sometimes if the gender dysphoria comes from the brain or from feeling uncomfortable because you were made to feel that you don't fit in to your birth sex as well as others. Gender dysphoria is real but some people can think they have gender dysphoria when it's something else. Especially if your young and don't have much knowledge of psychology and mental health.

I am absolutely not trying to stereotype all non-binary people when I say this, (I'm LGBT+ myself), but I have met multiple NB/Trans people in person and it is literally their entire personality. Like, they're absolutely obsessed with it and is pretty much all I ever hear them talk about. It gets really annoying, like they're looking for a reaction.

A lot of them are also confusing stereotypes and bodily dysmorphia as something in dissonance with their brain and body. I don't believe they are looking for attention as much as they are looking for a community to be a part of. Time and time again I've seen people eventually slip under the umbrella after going through rough patches in their life where they simply have no hope. The identity gives them something to latch onto and that's exactly why they become hyperfixated on the idea. It's a band aid put over an already infected cut so the relief and belonging it brings is only temporarily (most of the time).

As somebody who has a sister that's now identifying and it's not non-binary, this makes me concerned. Because she is not the narcissistic type at all. Like at all. In fact I can say that me and her both equally can't stand narcissist. And now she's just confused. I mean if she thinks she wants to be a boy in the future to go through a transition then I'll support her. But she better get professional help instead of taking advice from people who thinks they're a different gender because they wear a different pair of pants from a different section of the store. Hopefully her mind doesn't start going south. Cuz I like the fact that I can still have a conversation with my little sister no matter what it is and no matter how deep it gets. The last time I was questioning about her non-binaryness, and I was trying to be respectful, she didn't really have a problem or make a fuss. But she did have a struggle trying to help me understand it. It's like no matter how hard they try they always make it sound just like Jenna dysphoria or like they can't decide whether or not they want to be trans. But if that's what they meant by non-binary then I think I wouldn't have a problem with respecting it. You're in between the in between. You're still figuring it out from the very beginning. But it's not. They're making all this illogical nonsense explain why they're both are neither genders. Oddly enough, at least I can say I'm lucky that she's holding the both route. So there's no complaining that I still call her my sister. She's still allowing me to call her my sister. Just now I can also call her my 2nd brother if I wanted to. I'm not. She's always going to be my little sister. She also thankfully doesn't make a big fuss with anybody in the house for not understanding it. She understands is going to be a hard concept for us to grasp because it's still a relatively new concept. Anything she just tried to come to me first because I am the oldest within our family that she can come to when it comes to I guess LGBT problems given I'm bi and would be more understanding in that department. But even I struggle to understand this concept and she kind of expected that. She did not act surprised when I had questions. If anything she should know better than I'm the one to constantly ask questions. I'm usually going to want to get to the bottom of something if I don't understand it. Cuz I want to understand it. I want to dress my mind around what the heck is going on. I hate it when I can't. So maybe I'm just lucky for now. But man the s*** coming out of this community it's just getting ridiculous. This is why I don't even associate with the LGBT community. I swear to God that community is literally eating itself alive and depressing and becoming a very same they were fighting again. And I really wish they would just stop saying that live and let live b******* when that's not even what it's about anymore. Especially now that they want to resort to racism and sexism because oh well it's happening to whites and males thus it doesn't count. No, by definition it is still sexism and racism. By that brain dead as logic should we commence a genocide against white skin colored people do just because they've done it to others in the past? It almost feels like it's digressing to that point. And it's ridiculous. It went from live and let live to we will do upon others that those have done to us. And if they look like the others who have done to us, we would do to them anyways even if they're innocent. 🤦 don't matter if you're conservative, liberal, progressive, traditional, there are hypocrites on both sides and I can't f****** stand it.

hey just so you know I’m on the girl in this video’s side but I’m pretty sure in many of these people’s definitions: males and females make up the gender binary, and being non-binary means you’re totally against it and want to create a fictional gender that’s not male or female.

You made an excellent point at the end about how male non-binary people don't feel pressured to get gender-affirming surgery as female non-binary people do. I think you're spot on that this is internalised misogyny - women feeling like they're not good enough unless they're akin to a man.

My brother works with kids and he told me about this 6 year old boy who came in with his parents, his parents asked him "what are your pronouns?" And the little boy turned around to my brother and jokingly said "toilet!" And that annoyed the parents and they kept asking until the boy gave up and said "They/them". My brother was laughing because this kid is 6! 6 years old! To me it just sounded like these parents are telling their kid what his pronouns should be. It just seems like they wanted woke parent points to look cool.
