NEWS: Karnataka govt is planning for 2nd airport in Bangalore City. Parallaly TN Govt planning to develop Airport in Hosur few km away from Bangalore City Totally 3 Airports around Bangalore City in few years 😂😂😂
Loved this video! Could you please make a video on the history of Hyderabad Airport as well? I’m a delhite now living in Hyderabad and I’m quite fascinated by GMR’s handling of both the airports The first time RGIA airport felt like a downgrade from IGIA but with the recent renovations and expansions, IGIA feels a generation behind now
Reason u said for constructing new airport is not correct, It is because current airpot rule to not construct or use any airport within 150km will expire in 7 years, so they are planing new one...
Already Chennai starts to build a second International Airport in Parandur . It's nearly 35 to 45 KM away from the Chennai City . It will open at 2027-28
😹 Blud They haven't even acquired the land for the airport yet and you are saying that they have already started building the airport. And the year of completion of the airport is expected by 2029, not 2027 or 2028.
@@jaguarunleashed4935 the locals are not giving up their land bro and some are wet lands as well so there are protests going on for nearly 2 years since the announcement of new airport
IAF is not needed at tge core of the city. Airforce needs to move its operations away from old HAL base and shift to Yelanka. completely. - The "majority" of dometic flights can be shifted to this old airport. Messing up existing kempegowda while Phase 2 of T2 is under progress won't be sustainable with persistent C& D waste + Expanding/ Creating new airport.
First Everybody Stop calling and pronouncing as "Bangalore" Because Real Original Name is "Bengaluru" not Bangalore.. Bengaluru is the name that Kempe Gowda built when built Bengaluru ... so stop calling as Bangalore & Respect our Kempegowda.. jai kannada jai Karnataka ❤️ Now all are calling Mumbai .. because they are accept change name of city (Bombay) Same as the Original Name is BENGALURU Not Bangalore.. Because Karnataka Government is change City Name ❤ Bengaluru ❤.. like a Mumbai(Bombay)/Chennai(Madras) etc.. Today all are accepting And calling/pronounce as Mumbai/Chennai Same here also calling/ pronounce/write as ❤ Bengaluru ❤ and accept this with Respectfully Indian Citizen Jai Hind. Jai Bharat
Present airport was planed between Tumakuru and Bangalore but finally shifted to devanahalli.... BJP and Congress both agreed to Create new Airport between Chitrdurga-Tumakuru...
Very Nice Video I have watched other videos as well !! Can you please make a video explaining all India Internationals Airport Already constructed , Under construction a video just a list ...and a capacity. 🙂 Available: Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai ...etc Under Construction: Jewar, Navi Mumbai ... etc.
It's "Bengaluru" please get this right. Do we still use "Cownpore" "Bombay" for your cities? no. We expect the same in return. Thank you. At least you didn't spell Karnataka as "KaRnAtAk"
As a resident of Bengaluru i would suggest for a 2nd domestic airport instead of a another international airport in the south of Bengaluru some where around Magdi or bidadi or Kanakapura ...if its done Bengaluru will have 5 airports hal,Yelahanka airbase, jakkur aerodrome, kial, and new proposed airport ❤ ofcourse only two of them will operate civilian flights kial and new Airport
HAL airport runway is just 500m roughly from my residence at Munnekolal. Even today, many passenger planes belonging to Air India or Air Asia fly just over my flat at a low height for trials. It is so close that you can see the airlines logo as well as the numbers written on the body
@@kitchentreat no sometimes jet planes belonging to army fly just above my house with deafening sound. I had even seen an Antonov which passed extremely low compared to other planes and an Air India or Akasa Air flight sometimes circle around this area maybe for training
@@swapnaneelsengupta7749 occassional military flight testing happens, it is an exception than the norm. When it does happen, usually it was LCA. However bulk of military aircrafts are stationed in Yelahanka AFS. Commercial flights, don't remember one since a long time; I stay in DRDO so flight path may not pass over me. Interesting that you mention ample sightings- would you know they are planning to reopen HAL after all? I think there was an MoU when KIAL opened, to close civilian airports within a 150 km radius.
If your name is Raja (राजा)in Hindi or any language.. you will call Raja same as in English language also.. because that is the ur Original Name.. So if you say Bengaluru (ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು) in Kannada.. you should say same as Bengaluru in English also.. You cannot change the pronunciation/calling /write as you like .. because that is Just the Name. Not a any language word's to change as u like.. pls think as educated.. and stop calling/write/pronunciation as Bangalore..
What's the point of building such a massive international airport if they don't want anyone from other regions coming there for jobs. The most developed countries and cities like NYC, London, Mumbai, Hyderabad and even Bengaluru at one point had got their identities due to the mix of cultures, their cosmopolitan nature and welcoming people from other regions to help in the development rather than just hoarding all the jobs and resources themselves. If you're a part of a country that has thousands of languages and cultures, a simple thing to do is to respect and accept all the cultures of your country. Or else just declare your state as a separate country and become like North Korea. It's just plain dumb that a govt, which unsurprisingly is Congress, has passed such a stupid bill.
Wrong info. Bill was not passed. It was not even debated in house as court, Nasscom rejected so govt was forced to withdraw. This is political gimmick to divide and rule, so chill. Don't get trapped in their hate politics.
I think the 150 kms rule is no longer valid (or atleast exceptions are possible) Otherwise Navi Mumbai airport would not come up !!! Even Jewar is less than 150 kms from IGI!!
It's because of airlines and airport handling companies that 150 km rule was followed. They don't want competition but as india is developing so there is need for air flights hence the rule is been broken
It was specifically by KIAL for 30 years. The 150 rule will vanish by default in 2038. If any new airport has to take off, they need permission from KIAL. But, the best case would be to partner KIAL with any additional airport closer to the other side of the City.
But but if they force everyone to learn Kannada and people start going back then all the expansion plan will go in vain. The whole crowd that is creating this demand is from other parts of India, not only from Bengaluru.
@@sudipshettynoojjis7851 Yes, it is a local language. But, it is NOT needed in general life. I lived for 3 years and I never actually needed it. Right now, I live in Berlin and I get by with English only. No one has ever asked me to speak German. But, you know what I'll learn German soon because there is a lot of incentive to learn German. If I learn German, I can get PR in 21 months compared to 4 years. Same for citizenship, I can get in 3 years (for C1 German) or 5 years (for B1 German). Right now, there is no incentive to learn Kannda. Offer some incentive (?) and see the organic growth. Most of the Indian population speak Hindi. People in Sikkim speak Hindi, so do the people of Nagaland and Arunchal Pradesh despite them ever being out of their state. I stayed in Sikkim for 4 years, no one asked me to speak their langauge and always communicated in Hindi. In fact, Sikkim wasn't even part of India till mid-1970s. In fact, my mother tone is not Hindi. My mother tounge is Bhojpuri and I learnt Hindi in school. And Bhojpuri is not a dialect of Hindi, it's very different. Bhojpuri and Hindi are two different languages. But, people in South hardly speak Hindi (specially Tamil Nadu and Kerala). Ask why didn't they learn to speak Hindi when Hindi is the DE-FACTO national language of the country? Because they never needed it. Those who needed Hindi, learnt it. It's about the natural and organic need and I've no complaints for anyone who doesn't know Hindi. The BIGGER TRUTH is politicans are using Kannada as a deviation tool to fool local people. It's a classic old technique where politicians deviate from actual issues of the city to avoid accountilibility. Yes, I understand that you want to preserve the language and you should and first you should start within yourself. In fact, most local whom I worked with only spoke English even within themselves (?). Bangalore is now a major Indian city with lot of investments coming in from around the country (and abroad) & is no longer only a regional capital of Karnataka. Yes, people of Karnataka built Bangalore and we love and respect local people for that. But, the fact is companies who open office in Bangalore don't open it because it is Karanataka and Kannada built the city, but, because it is part of India and it's only city where you will find the best Indian talent who come there from all over the country. Yes, you can say that you don't want it but the truth is you can't let the real estate prices go down. And remember, what happened during COVID when the city was empty. Outsiders didn't ruin the city, it's the politicians and corrupt government officers who took loads of money to allow the infrastructure to become may-day. They could've taken things slowly and came up with plan but who cares? They just wanted more money.
@@sudipshettynoojjis7851it is optional only. Not mandatory. If they don't want to let it be, but they will be at disadvantage. That's all. Nothing more or less.
No where in the world you have Airport in the CITY! The airports inside the city are mostly used for SHORT HAUL FLIGHTS like as in LCY -> London City Airport
This is generally speaking not a great idea at all. You are just adding more traffic on the roads. The entire infrastructure modernization is a bad case of planning and traffic management. To go from Bangalore airport to Electronic City/Whitefield/Sarjapur etc. takes 2.5 hours. A flight from Mumbai to Bangalore is 1 hour 45 min. The infrastructure is a mess with no multi-modal capacity to get someone to any part of the city in 1 hour. Now imagine the added traffic, imagine the headache for elderly people and the amount of pollution from cars on the street.
