Setting realistic expectations is an essential baseline for deploying AI effectively in any business, and more importantly, it's also essential to using it safely. But the way that tech companies like Microsoft tend to talk about these tools a lot of time would imply that they can do much more than they really can and that safety isn't a concern.
In this video we'll explore some of the words used at the recent Microsoft earnings call and why how we describe AI and its capabilities is truly important for everyone's success.

Absolutely agree that the MS marketing needs to be more focused. I want to hear applied use cases more than “false” promises.

Thanks for watching. Yes, certainly by this point a lot more could be shared about real benefits. However that content is out there - did you see, for example, Microsoft’s own internal Copilot adoption case study?

@@brightideasagency as a father of 4, with #5 on the way, and being out of the main workforce since 2019, this is the year and the summer of AI for me. I want to delve into teams copilot use for social projects related to kids, so business use cases will have some enlightening content. If they are consumable in video format, or referenced by a favorite RU-vidr, I would take the time to listen.

I disagree that Co-pilot is not alive nore smart in fact I believe it's a dog level/young kid nore more then 5 years old level intelgance because it can learn and read stuff... Like it can do things a trees or a crab can't are they more not alive? But I agree even if the one thing Co-pilot is best at internet search it's not an expernt but is better then advagre and well it can make mistakes so can the worlds smartest experts and the internet. Which I have seen it improve drastically since early 2023 so it has gotten better like now it can summarize and work on nocvala(Up to 400 page books I think it can do more too now.) docs just fine albeit slowly. And can even write a great fan fic novel of a popular web show... Like how it can get the characters and context perfect by just search the intetnet in about a minuteI have no idea But it is limited by it's programing not to generate "high quality content" despite it can do so... But yeah grsat video and I agree Co-pilot is more well a co-pilot you have oncall all the time and won't ever say "Just google it".

This is a common perspective, but this natural instinct to confer humanistic or at least living traits on AI can be problematic when thinking about the types of outputs we get. Both dogs and children learn through entirely different mechanisms than AI tools, and this fact will, I think, become increasingly relevant as models improve and we live with AI as part of our lives. Thanks for watching the video and contributing!
