That's largely because Karen Traviss is annoyingly protective of her work, and despite having made content from someone else's franchise, she won't let anyone working on that franchise use her material, as I understand it.

@@roadhouse6999 That's not true, she always made sure to follow continuity and respected it, it was Dave Filoni who came (even before Disney bought Lucasfilm, so tjere was no canon and legends) and he straight fcked up the continuity, retconned everything, did cared about any pre existing media. Republic commando novel perfectly make sense with the other expanded universe comics books, the 2003 clone wars and the prequels, while tcw just retconned everything.

Well, at least Filoni brought back that Mandalorians did in fact trained the CloneTroopers in Rebels.

Yeah right. The show was entertaining, but that’s it. It’s an over glorified fanfiction. At least the sequels actually had good writing and real character development

@@gentlemancharmander4411 the sequels is more fan fiction than the mandalorian. The mandalorian actually goes with Star Wars lore while the sequels don’t. And the sequels have absolutely no character development, while the mandalorian does, that’s why it’s better

Becouse the armor is designed to stop blaster bolts not a gaffi stick, like a soft armor/regular bulletproof west can't stop an arrow or a knife, becouse it isn't designed to do so.

Well many canon sources stated that Stormtrooper armor can protect from vibroblades and the armor sucks only in the movies
