It would be better to use a vacuum system smoke leak tester. Just fill the turbo and intake system with the smoke, then use your pressure system there to push the smoke out if the holes are small and need the pressure to show the leak.
It's not fine to use 100psi. If you theoretically fix all the boost leaks and pump 100psi into the system your gonna blow something creating another boost leak or worse
Not only that, certain components might just not be able to handle the pressure and just straight up break, sensors, your intake manifold, blow off valve, etc. Better to test at the max pressure you expect to see during normal operation
