The problem is that Jaylen Brown will be making 55 mill next season and going up to 65, and Tatum will probably sign an identical contract soon. The second apron restricts team building options so much that I don't think the Celtics will be able to sustain their roster. Also, Derrick White is going to want 25 plus million per season. The roster will simply be too expensive and they won't be able to pay any bench players besides pritchard.
I’m not saying it’s not possible, but dynasties are strictly luck. Injuries, free agency, and the draft all make these impossible to tell whether or not they will repeat again. Congrats on the chip tho Boston
Great video. I’m a Celtics fan so I might be a little biased. I hope next season has less injuries, right now though I don’t think anyone in the east can compete apart from the knicks, if they were healthy this year the conference finals would’ve been an exciting match between the Celts and Knick’s. In the west Denver, OKC and the Timberwolves could give them a good final series matchup.
Celtics have some of the best chances to win apart from the Mavs and the Nuggets. Seeing the Mavs be blown out by the Celtics, I still think that they will repeat. Also, the nuggets were eliminated by the Timberwolves which makes me think that they aren't going to win another championship. So honestly, the nuggets have the best chance, but won't win.
