Hi! Great videos there! I got a 1.0 ecoboost fiesta and in fact one of my first mods was the itg air filter. But i have always wondered why it sounds like in 5:05 ?? Because i have also seen some doing a psshhh sound instead. Cheers!!
@@tobyyoung7962 all I have is the ITG Induction kit which allows you to hear all the intake noises and sounds, but I also have an upgraded recirc valve which is the GFB DV+
@@owenoj Yeah i'm thinking of getting an Itg but am torn between a turbosmart duel port BOV or the GRB DV+ i like the turkey noise the turbosmart makes haha
I intend to fit this in the next couple of weeks. Running Collins CP2 and they claim that I can expect 10bhp gains with the itg intake alone as the map adapts to hardware. Can I really expect that? Is the stock intake really that restrictive?
VUDU Garage Had it fitted a few days ago. I did notice the increase :) It’s genuinely made a noticeable performance increase! It’s not as loud as I was expecting, in a good way.
With the ITG if you pressure was your car the filter gets soaking wet. I checked mines after washing it by removing the headlight. Makes me wonder just how wet it would get if it was raining heavily.
Had itg and it’s was ok the noises it made sounded pants. My mountune airbox produces better consistent power. Don’t believe in the hype it makes it just a noise thing.
@@ayrtonowen2703 especially stage 3 you will definitely see gains coupled with a crossover pipe, less heat soak than closed air box. What turbo you got?
Thanks. I’m not doing much to my focus only the itg and recirculating bov. This setup cause the flutter effect more than the whoosh sound? Thanks guys for the reply
If this was stage 1 tuned, would that mean that the 15 odd whp you gained would be less? Comparing the difference between a tune on a standard car to being tuned with an ITG?
@@VUDUGarage what kind of dyno do you use? Because some are known to be inaccurate, I have to be skeptical and thorough because you hear so many contradictions with air intakes
