I agree on tear (considering you can sell it) and DS, but: counting mana/health that is given slowly giving it the same value as mana/health you have straight up is fallacious. I might very well all-in you and you won't be able to use a relevant fraction of that regen in that situation and you must account for that when you talk about gold value. If you have a sleepy lane, going corrupting is not good at all. the survivability thing is a mess imo. You don't have to one-shot in order to make damage worthwhile. Moreover, there is a massive synergy between sorcs and luden's (added magic pen gets stronger the more you have it: the value of 20 mpen is not 2x the value of 10 mpen but considerably more if the enemy has low MR). Ionian's are good too, don't get me wrong, but you must take into account that too. Oblivion is a great item in this meta, I agree 100%.
