I thought I was the only one who do this. I started a new job and it’s VERY HARD and I woke up in the middle of the night first time ever Ike a panic attack. I turned on dvr and started the CHOSEN and it calmed me down. God is so good.

I actually like that they don't all just get along. It's reality. Even brothers and sisters by blood have a tendency to get on each other's nerves. You put a group of people together for an extended period of time, even if they all start out as friends glad to share each other's company, they're going to get irritated with each other. Over little things as well as bigger things. It's human nature. It don't matter what the reason they are together for, or Who they are following.

@Opnn8d1 makes an excellent point. This portrayal of the Gospels recognizes how all of us are growing in Christ at different rates and from totally unique histories and personal journeys. Remember, all of this story, so far, is before Resurrection and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We must not be too hard on the first Disciples. Blessings. 🙏🤲🕊🤗

These episodes remind me how intense it must have been under Roman rule ...the fear, the tensions, suspicions, the lack, the anger ... all played out so well by the chosen. Jesus bless you all and keep you true to him.

They were humans. The Bible says it very clearly that they had some petty disputes. This show did a wonderful job at portraying this in a believable and relatable way. The greatest thing I've learnt from this show is how Jesus sees all of us imperfect people with perfect compassion.

The Chosen has been a key ingredient in my education and understanding!! Everything I had thought about Jesus and His message was on point. Growing up with righteous hypocrisy taught me to always question...I have given up my worldly goods and picked up the cross. It's a lonely journey but well worth the Heavenly rewards that await!!! I love how the disciples are portrayed in this series. They are young. Some pictures that depict the disciples show them as very old men, and not relatable. In the Chosen, they are flawed, strong-willed like you and me. But in the end, they love Jesus and follow him to the end.

This series is quite amazing. Staying true to Holy Scripture while filling in the areas of silence with portrayals of actual historical human beings is remarkable. I can hardly wait for Season 4. What I like about The Chosen is that they chose actors who are at a young age & who’s ethnicity is middle eastern background which is historically accurate especially for Jesus because he wasn’t a white or black man but an olive dark skin toned middle eastern man, not European 😂

I watched this 4 hours after it was posted & was bombarded with inappropriate ads including planned parenthood & gender transformation 😮😢 And, no, I'm not blaming Dallas/The Chosen. YT usually "monetizes" a vid after a certain number of views, but I do question why YT algo chose to place SO MANY ads in such a short video & ads that are clearly inappropriate for a Christian audience? 👈🧐👎

I really love how they were portrayed in this show. They WERE real people with real feelings. And in the Bible the apostles were actually quite immature and petty in the gospels, it wasn’t until Acts that they matured. Which kinda makes sense considering they were actually quite young (some possibly even being teenagers) during the time they had been called by Jesus.

God bless the Chosen series. It's changing thousands of lives daily! I can't prove it, but I just know it. We do the pay it forward thing bc we just want to be a part of it! Honestly, if I had to choose between a meal or paying it forward? I'd go hungry. I just believe in what they're doing to reach the lost! Sometimes I just stream the Chosen in the background while I'm cleaning or whatever. It keeps my thoughts on Christ and being a disciple. Sorry.... I just had to gush yet again. Praise God!❤ ❤❤❤

Honestly I slightly like Season 2 more than the others because we got to see the disciples interact as a community the most. I feel like the arguments they get into reflect the conflicts the happen in churches and between denominations today. But we get to see them move forward as family united under Jesus' leadership. I long to see this unity in today's church.

I adore the tiniest of details in this show that so many other religious films/media lack (to the point I can't make it past one episode). The dialogue moves so naturally, but also the fact that the Jesus has to balance a SCHEDULE is something so obvious, yet something I never considered. This guy had to evangelize the entire world, he couldn't waste time by wandering from town to town and person to person. He had to plan trips, balance invitations, know where to go next. Tiny details like that are something I don't think get nearly enough attention or praise

As a young Christian I had some of that awful Chick tract stuff in my head & may have contributed to misunderstanding in some small way (this was before the Internet tg, so not able to spread it very far or wide). You know what changed my mind though? For some reason I kept finding books that were written during the time of the 2nd Charismatic Renewal (in used bookstores in L.A. where I was living & where the movement started) & read about Christians of every denomination including Catholic worshipping Christ together - differences forgotten in their love & adoration of Christ. It was a real eye-opener for me & I see a similar thing happening right now with the arrival of "The Chosen" series ❤️‍🔥🕊❤️‍🔥🕊❤️‍🔥

Nerves and wanting to get it right. God is teaching them to depend on his strength and wisdom, not their own. He is showing us the imperfections that he chose to humble us into thinking that if that is what following looks like, then we are no less. Besides Jonathan Roumi’s spellbinding performance, the bickering of the disciples is my favorite part of The Chosen 😃 Those scenes are realistic and hilarious 😆 😆😆 (because, after all, most of these guys were fishermen, not elegant, educated gentlemen😲) The actors in this cast are all unknowns to me, but they are all excellent and some of them, in my opinion, are brilliant 😳 Bravo, gentlemen 👏👏👏

They are humans coming from different backgrounds and income levels and experiences and learning how to get along with each other plus learning that "following" Jesus means more than just eating and sleeping and doing things for Him and listening to Him. It means a HEART and MIND change and that can take time.

whoah!!!! that was quite a collage of differences. man, us humans!!!! that is who we are🎶... i imagine it had to have been a mind blowing experience being called to follow JESUS during HIS ministry. i feel blessed learning these glimpses of our first century jewish disciples of JESUS through the lens of the chosen series. and i am super excited to see how much our first followers of our JESUS will grow in grace and faith as their ministry evolves with and without JESUS in the seasons to come... thank YOU GOD for YOUR HOLY SPIRIT for them and for us... also, it was a brutal, heart wrenching moment to see the character of our JESUS walk with exhaustion into their camp knowing what was happening again, out of breath and with what looked like a tear stained, sweaty face to me, raising HIS hand to say good night to them... continued blessings. 🕊

Love this!! True depiction of who they actually were. I wish the scene with the disciples talking about rescuing Jesus would have also included Noah’s (Andrew) performance under the tent before he and Philip went to try and rescue Jesus- he does such an awesome job in that scene.

I love how the apostles would tell each other of their own mistakes as well as handling a problem! Our creator knew what he was doing when he chose different people 4 his mission 2 spread the word! They might've not gotten along much but, at least it was a start & I'm loving every 1 of this!
