Sorry, I dont fully agree. I am a Govt employee. To me, the reasons are: (i) Indian laboures are even cheaper than China. We have a large labour force, but, shockingly, they are totally unskilled. Indian ITIs, Engineering Colleges/Institutes etc teach only theory, not giving much importance in practical and apprentices. (ii) Corruptions. Indian bureaucrats are most corrupted in the world. Hardly 20-30% of any project cost is actually spent. The rest 70% goes to the pockets of Ministers/Officers/Contractors/Lower officials/Peons etc (iv) Indians are highly talkative than productive. For a small matters, 100 times meetings will take place (v) Defective system of Democracy. Indian election system is so much defective. 70% of the electorates are illiterate. They cant select/elect right persons. Muscle power/ money power/ dirty politics in religions/caste systems play a negative role (vi) social evils like Caste systems/ dowry systems. Chinese perform more than what they talk. Indians talk more than what they perform. (viii) Weak Governments at the Centre (ix) all the State Governments are the main culprits. They are the ones who spoil the nation.

Well, this is very simple. If buyers want cheap stuff, China will make cheap stuff. I use cell phone as an example. Xiaomi, Oppo, Honor, are all good phones. But American consumers can't afford so China don't sell to them. It is not China makes cheap products. It is if you can't afford, China will sell you cheap stuff. If you can afford, China will sell you good stuff. Xiaomi phones, Oppo, Honor, are not sold in America because they can't afford it! Simple economics!
eric t I actually live in the US and I'm on T-Mobile with my Huawei P10. To say Huawei products are forbidden to sell in the US is not true. They are sold on Amazon and BestBuy. Only they are not carried by mobile carriers as with Xiaomi, OnePlus. In order to be carried by mobile providers you need to work out many, many details. I trust that in India it's the same thing.

After that Chinese government saw, by this, foreign investment can bring jobs to its people, which will make money. So They requested American and European companies to manufacture in China. More Jobs for Chinese people. Some Local Chinese people started copying foreign products, and selling it to less price. Same thing again and again. China became rich by this method. Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Google, etc. Companies started manufacturing from China. Again more jobs for Chinese people. Worlds Top Brands started manufacturing in China, Local Chinese companies copying foreign products, Xiaomi (Apple of China), Vivo, Oppo, Lenovo which are cheaper than Top Branded Companies. Now China has almost conquered world market. But In India's poorest time, no one helped India, Invested In India. No jobs for Indian people, poverty, India's own companies starting to become bankrupt, because Chinese products were cheaper. PM Modi has now 'Make in India' campaign, but its now to Late now.

नहीं ये बात नहीं है। बात ये है कि चीन में electronics बनाने के लिए जो raw material चाहिए होता है वो वहिं पर मिल जाता है। वहां lithium का बहुत बड़ा भंडार है। ऐसे ही कई खनिज पदार्थों का है, दूसरा पूरी दुनिया में एलेक्ट्रोनॉक्स की बहुत demand है ऐसे में सस्ता labour और भारी डिमांड के चलते उनकी अर्थवयवस्था आसमान छूती है।
और हाँ अगर India को इनसे आगे निकलना है तोह Research और development पर खर्च करना पड़ेगा। इनकी तरह copy करने से कुछ नहीं होगा। Research और development के बल पर हम ऐसे products बना लेगें जिससे खरीदना अन्य देशों की मजबूरी बन जाएगा। बाकी manifacturing तोह कहीं भी हो सकती है।
