I feel really connected to these videos as I am half Japanese and half British living in the Netherlands so I also speak dutch just like Justafiable! Keep these videos going, really motivates me to learn another language.

I didn't know they would be so surprised at a foreigner speaking Japanese. I should go on that site and try it ahaha I learned Japanese for 8 years in school. If only I was as charistmatic as you I would do it
@@justafiable especially the south-western states...when I went to school in the east for a while last century I had to bring my 84oz (2.5L) cups with me because none of the gas stations or restaurants had large cups... most of europe and asia are worse, with no discount or free refills too, so I tend to pack drinkware (and crushed red pepper packets -- also uncommon outside of south-western states) when I travel...
@@Doing_Time I remember all the American meals being much larger than what I'm used to in Europe! It was a culture shock for me! Then you've got Japanese sizes which are completely opposite!
@@justafiable I have been all of these places and can confirm your observations to be true (lol - japan = meals by vending machine). America = not just larger portions, but all-you-can-eat buffets featuring nearly every ethnicity can be found... I recommend elastic waist pants and temporary gym memberships to visitors.

I want to be a polyglot too! I'm 14 and i know 2 languages only.. Turkish (My Native) and of course (American) English i want to learn more languages and by the time i'm 50 i want to speak more than 10 languages!
You should definitely go to Japan! The best holiday experience I've ever had! I did a lot of immersion in the language and studied some basics with grammar. I think that'll be a really good way to start your journey!
