NOTES: Like the video says, c6 Candace is needed for those Arle teams and not needed for Mualani. She’s great for both characters. Candace is comparable to Xingqiu in Arlecchino teams. Better for quicker rotations but less comfy. Yelan probably better but can’t speak on it as I don’t own her. Candace is a competitive option as stated in the vid. Arlecchino’s Infusion isn’t overridden by Candace’s burst. 60 energy cost isn’t the very highest but Candace has low particle generation so it’s hard to hit that ER requirement.
@@k_tay2507 no the hydro infusion doesn’t override Arlecchino’s which is good 😊 This is best because you want the pyro infusion on Arlecchino, but Candace’s normal attack buff and off-field hydro help a lot…but you will want c6 Candace for the Arlecchino team
@@k_tay2507 Genuinely C6 Candace is extremely competitive with them. I found the clear times to be extremely similar, but you can choose whoever is comfiest or available!
@bjornnilsson2941 they are niche but they've got some very strong teams where they're potentially one of the best options. I legit prefer my C6 Candace to go on my C2 Arle team over my C4 Yelan and I have C0 Dehya with my C4 Navia and C2 Xilonen teams over Xiangling since all I need is pyro application for crystallize and while Xiangling does have no iGCD pyro app, she is tethered to needed a lot of ER and Pyronado doesn't have as much reach as Dehya's pyro app. Might be niche but both of those teams are CRAZY strong and work at arguably their best because of Candace and Dehya even if their kits are kinda scuffed for a lot of other main DPS.
Really appreciate the way you used colors to describe the Hyperbloom Burgeon effects at around 1:20. That is way better than game description and a person understands it in about 2 seconds.

I love seeing units like Candace and Dehya get the retribution they deserve after both the devs messed up with their kits and the meta wrote them off cause they completely misused them
@@mk_gamíng0609 the misuse is more aimed towards dehya than Candace but it's still true. Dehya REALLY wants to use her skill more than her burst. Her burst is really moreso a hail Mary in case the CD's aren't done yet but u still need to do some quick damage. and while, like most of the sumeru characters that were written off, didn't have any solid teams back then, she does have slots she can fill now. I can't speak on Candace tho cause I JUST got her the other week n I haven't even built her yet, but dehya is a different story
@@JayXenMusicas C6 Candace haver she is quite good Na Support for character like wanderer and Mualani. But if you have her C6, she would be one of the best teammate for Arlecchino team. Just in my opinion.
Fell in love with Candace on her first release along with Cyno got her C6 fully built her on day 1 plus just to have hydro infusion with my Diluc. Didn’t care what anybody said saying her kit is whack. Now I’m glad I built her.
I still dont see she can replace either xinqui or yelan, she seems like an extremely niche option if you miraculously dont have neither of the 2 aformentionned characters.
@@brussailpook8213 I will say my clear times with Candace in an Arlecchino comp are faster than my Xingqiu ones but generally they are comparable. The rotations also line up a lot better for the Arle/Bennett/Xilonen compositions. I can’t speak for Yelan since I don’t have her but chances are she is stronger. It’s also nice that she’s viable with Mualani and lots of people got Mualani recently. Overall it’s just another option if you need to free up space or what to try another team and have her levelled
I pulled for Xilonen wanting to also get Candace c6 (I'm just c0) for my Arlecchino, but I got 5 Collei back to back and 0 Candace... lol I guess she just doesn't want me
My favorite team right now is Ayato/Xilonen/Candace/Yun Jin and its a surprisingly good and viable team, even tho its a high investment team (Ayato has Chioris sword, Candace has Homa and Xilonen has her sig) its fun it makes use of 3 underrated characters
I've never tested it and I got Furina before Candace's C6, but I've always thought of her as a Quickbloom support, especially for Cyno teams (since they released on the same banner). Aside from the Hydro infusion, Cyno would benefit from the normal attack buff and low Hydro application that C6 provides. The downside is the buff duration is too short for him. I think Clorinde can use Candace.
@@arturvieira9991 Yeah Cyno is someone I’d be hopeful for but it’s just not enough application. He demands such long buff durations unfortunately. I don’t have Clorinde myself but I could see it being pretty viable in all honesty
@@Array_EB i haven't tested it since i dont have C6 Candace.. But if i do say, the range of her C6 is just way too short.. Sure if you are hugging the enemy is fine.. But otherwise, the guns have way more range.. Tho she is decent for clorinde cuz of the NA buff and all of clorinde's kit revolves around her NA.. But like the other have say regarding her with arle.. Candace C6 is way better for Aoe, while xingqiu yelan for ST.. Honestly Clorinde + Yelan + Candace might be a good team since both provies buff, while xingqiu doesnt..
@@GReyn Yea... but Candace not so good for Clorinde. Yunjin is moooore better 5-6k extra damage per shot = almost 20k per shot. The only way Yunjin can lose Candace is because of the number of targets hit.
I started playing Genshin impact on ver 3.2 and i saw Candace trailer besides cyno honestly i was super shocked when i saw she was a 4s she have that damn.. gorgeous design i love her so much
i firmly believe that every character is usable but they just have this particular niche. I remember when i first tried xingqiu (back in april 2021), i did not like him at all because i didnt understand how im supposed to play him but now i 9* abyss floor 12 w him on my arle vape team. As more patches and characters come out, who knows how vastly different the usage of characters from past patches will be. A prime example of this is kuki, like she was okay when she came out and then we got dendro and now she’s one of the best 4 stars we have.
@@paulamblard3836 Yaoyao EM in that situation. Candace’s EM is just useful if you end up triggering some throughout your rotation but Yaoyao is mainly who will have ownership of blooms in that composition. Good question
Candace is one of my favorite designs in Genshin. Just got her C6 while pulling for Xilonen and Chiori. I can't wait to get Arlecchino so i can use Candace with her.
Excelent video! I think that you forgot candace how main dps. So, she isn't too good, but can be a plunge dps in vaporize teams, or in electrocharged. Her multipliers in normal atack are very good for a 4 star char. Would be interesting to see this build in your video, or exploring this Candace's capacity. Thanks!
@@GabeIG it’s fairly high for a character who doesn’t trigger her skill very often in a rotation, requiring you to need to build a lot of ER. It’s not always about the number but how easily a character can achieve the number.

idk if I'd change Xilonen for Candace in a Mualani team. I prefer to switch the anemo unit and leave Xilonen untouched because of the variety of buffs she can provide not only to any character but specifically Natlan characters with that extra Nightsoul burst. Good video and straight to the point 🥸

Furina exists and almost everyone has her.. the only relevant thing candace prodives that furina doesnt is hydro infusion, which gives her the technically the fastest hydro application in the game. if you can make use of that and her other requirements, you have found a team, where she shines. - so you want 15s rotations - 3 more polearm/sword/claymore users to switch between, - that can use the hydro infusion - and the NA buff (candace herself cant make use of that because her NAs use atk% but she wants hp%) - and the team has to make full use of that hydro app (basically EC or any Bloom reaction). after all she is not like bennett, who has an atk buff so great, that the rest of his kit isnt that important. the only team where you really dont need candaces full kit, to outperform most other options is nilou bloom.

However for the teammates highlighted (Arlecchino and Mualani) you don’t use Furina in those teams since Arlecchino isn’t affected by Furina’s HP drain or the healing from teammates. Mualani Furina is usable but not ideal since Furina usually can steal vapes from Mualani. Take a look at the video to see how Candace shines in those teams! 😊
Candace going from near worthless outside of Nilou teams to a competitive option for 2 out of the 3 top DPS in the game warms my heart. You could even say she's best in slot for Arlecchino is AoE fights. I never used her for Nilou since Kokomi was always just better, but now having both Arlecchino and Mualani I can definitely see myself using her, there are only so many supports that fit those teams after all. Once we get the next event where we get a free Candace she'll finally be c6 too!
Candace is a compatible support to Arlecchino due to the normal attack buff, but the one doing the vaporize is actually going to be Candace, since Arlecchino dishes out more pyro than Candace's Hydro c6, no?
@@smr010 actually no thankfully. The amount of hydro Candace applies with the AOE hydro splashes are a lot more than Arlecchino’s pyro application. Also due to internal cooldown, Arlecchino gets very strong vapes and then by the time the internal cooldown is done, Candace has already splashed another large amount of hydro that you can vape. I just tested this again in abyss to make sure this is accurate. The hydro aura stayed on the enemy throughout the rotations.

i really want to get arle just cause I got c6 candace and I just can't use her in any team atm, I also love arle so it would work out hopefully arle gets a rerun soon
can c6 candance steal mualani's vapes? considering the only pyro applier in the team is dehya. i'm planning on switching dehya for mavuika once she's realeased, if she really turns out to be an off-field sub-dps.
Mualani team did use Candace for a while but i lack cons on Xiangling so i didnt want to use solo pyro Xiangling so i went for c2 Dehya and Nahida, and Candace for a while but i had to replace her in favour of Xilonen if Mavuika turns out to be a good Dehya replacement, i might bring back Candace
The problem with Candace before is she had too few viable use cases. The problem now is that Furina exist, who is a direct upgrade to her in 95% of cases. Longer buff duration, bigger buff value (that isn't limited to NA), better hydro application, more personal damage.
I mean kind of. Furina is by far more of a universal character. The thing is for the teammates I’ve listed (Arlecchino and Mualani) Furina isn’t as good in those slots. Arlecchino isn’t affected by Furina’s skill drain or anything and can’t be healed by a healer…so she doesn’t synergize well with her. For Mualani you COULD use Furina but there’s an issue with her stealing vapes from Mualani which will cause a damage fall-off. Candace is able to provide a more significant buff to both teams without causing any drawbacks 🙌
I have her at C6 and I want to pair her with my Arlecchino, but my troll ER build C3 XQ makes my Arlecchino dish out more damage even at low EM.😭 Life is cruel
hey :D i js got c6 candace from xilonens banner, so after im done w my xilonen i plan to build her next :3 i have a question tho, i heard that mualani wants non c6 candace, while arle wants c6 candace... i have both these dps's so id very much like to actually activate candaces c6 to use her with arlecchino, but i fear that might mess up my mualani comp.. do u have any means to test c6 candace or any opinions regarding it? not sure if relevant but i found that the most comfy teams for me were [mualani-xilo-xl-mona] (soon with candace instead) or [mualani-xilo-sucrose-xl] without the pyro archon, mualani is pretty much tied to xilo and xl, and i dont really enjoy sucrose cz sometimes i fail to swirl hydro.. monas buff duration is too short, which brings me back to candace. i wanna c6 her but shes pretty much the best option for my mualani imo and i dont wanna give that up even for arle oof
@@ohana_4238 From what I understand c6 doesn’t affect Mualani comps much like people originally had thought. I had heard about those sentiments but then multiple people like Zajef and a creator named Jamie have said c6 hasn’t caused any issues so…should be fine but I’d look at some abyss runs to make sure
@@Mertiven she has some of the highest damage output in the game from her vaporize hits. Check out some abyss gameplay of her! Not the best character but a very strong character.
@@meisterl0 you can use instructor if you have it but I personally think emblem is the next best option after that. I personally use Emblem since I don’t have a second instructor set levelled up and it feels great. A very niche option is to use archaic Petra for her since Xilonen helps activate it but that’s a VERY specific niche that I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re trying to absolutely maximize that team
Gladiator for Arlecchino. Xilonen with scroll of the hero of cinder city. Candace with Instructor arts works only with bloom team but without 200% ER and C6... it's nonsense. Just use Emblem artifacts with 200 ER and HP and this make some little profit... but usual Sucrose anyway better. Arle + Xilo + Xingqiu + Bennett same as Arle + Sucrose + Xingqiu + Bennett = very good party and more damage than with Candace.
I kinda wanted to get C6 candace in this banner since i already had it c4 but unfortunately i got only one before getting my xilonen and ofc i won't pull just for the 4*. Worst of all i got 3 Collei's and 1 Dori and both of them were c6 already :(. At least i got C1 chevreuse just randomly
@@komi-samabeliever7319 I think Clorinde could be decent for a quickbloom team of sorts. Maybe If you ran Clorinde with fischl and Baizhu/Kirara/Yaoyao it could be quite decent but I have zero idea if that’s true or not so take it with a grain of salt. For Dehya (I’m assuming onfield) she doesn’t really work because dehya’s burst doesn’t count as normal attack damage so Candace’s burst doesn’t do anything in that team. Maybe if you run Dehya off-field as the pyro application in a Mualani team with Candace it could work!
@@Array_EB hmm yeah, currently running Clorinde overload team with Chev/Thoma/Dehya right now, its fun and works enough for me, though not sure if it counts as "good" since i'm not really a meta pursuers. But unfortunately the Hard Mode Imaginarium just kicked my arse and I need better team or another options. Naturally Dendro characters comes to mind. I do have Kirara and I'll build her soon after I'm done with Xilonen, and she is the only Dendro I got atm alongside the freebies that I want to use, so we'll see about that. I do have Yelan though, iirc her burst should do well with Clorinde, I'll try it later when I got one decently built Dendro. It's sad that I couldn't paired Dehya and Candace with my ragtag team currently, perhaps another time when more options available.
@@xLuis89x I can’t speak on Yelan as I don’t have her but for me, C6 Candace cleared quite a noticeable amount faster than my C6 Xingqiu did. This was especially the case in Xilonen teams as Xingqiu’s skill/burst cooldown is longer than the rotation, but Candace’s line up perfectly
@@Curiosity-Kitten she wouldn’t provide much except for some hydro application if she was c6. Gaming’s plunges are mainly “skill damage” so that’s all she would do. If she was c0 she wouldn’t do anything really. Furina or Yelan/Xingqiu are better as a hydro there
@@Array_EBI tend to use Gaming’s NA between plunges. Would Candace’s hydro infusion be able to apply hydro that way? I also run Furina in his team too so it’s not like Candace would be the only hydro unit
@@RoryRose_ definitely very good or best in slot for the roles ive gone over in the video. She’s not a universal character but is very good in those roles and worth building if you play those characters/teams :) C6 is needed for Arlecchino but at C0 she is one of Mualani’s best supports
Yeah any VV user is fine there as long as you’re able to swirl consistently in the team. Kazuha and Sucrose are more ideal but in that situation just use what you have! :)
@@eremite122 it’s a bit tricky. Instructor is best as long as you’re able to trigger a reaction with your skill or burst when you use them. Since you have Xiangling going you shouldn’t lose your pyro aura for Mualani to vape so I would suggest 4 piece instructor. Just build as much ER as you can…and then stats like crit and HP are good but aren’t super important.
I don’t have Yelan so I couldn’t test it but it was better than c6 Xingqiu for me by a decent amount. I’d assume Candace and Xingqiu are similar and Yelan is better

@@BradleytheDavis Candace is just another option to Xingqiu and Yelan for Arlecchino not a replacement. If you want to run Yelan then run Yelan. Candace is just also competitive in the same slot and if you wanna use her you can! For Mualani though you wouldn’t use Yelan, Candace is used to buff Mualani primarily instead of apply hydro
They don’t really do the same thing so it’s hard to compare them. Candace allows for Yaoyao to be used on-field with hydro normals and healing while also applying Dendro. Barbara has hydro normals and healing but other characters would need to apply Dendro. From simulations I’ve looked up, the Candace/YaoYao teams are notably stronger when built optimally, but Barbara is still a great for bloom. Take my words with a grain of salt though because I don’t have experience with them like that in bloom 😅
I'm not sure if Candace is a good option for Arlecchino. I'd argue for Vape teams, Xingque/Yelan is better as Candace infusion would always be overridden by Arlecchino's own infusion, limiting Hydro applications when Arlecchino is on field. One of the teams I usually use is Arlecchino Bennett Xingque/Yelan Thoma in this scenario. Also, I would suggest you elaborate on how to use Candace in Arlecchino team, because I'm not sure how she works in that team.

I kind of go over everything in the vid to the best of my abilities but I’ll try again to explain how Candace helps. Candace at c6 specifically applies off-field hydro fairly consistently. This can be vaped by Arlecchino. Candace’s burst infusion doesn’t override Arlecchino (which is good you don’t want that so Arlecchino can vape the hits) but her burst has a normal attack boost built into it. This boosts the normal attacks of Arlecchino. I’ve used both c6 Candace and c6 Xingqiu in that slot and Candace is very competitive with that spot, sometimes better. Really up to the player but it’s an option people can use if they like Candace. Got similar clear times between the two. I don’t own Yelan but I know it’s comparable
@@chafiklahiani342 the off-field hydro from c6 would be very valuable for Kaveh teams but I’m not sure if Candace’s hydro burst infusion overrides Kaveh’s or not. I would assume it doesn’t but you’d want Kaveh’s Dendro infusion anyways. 🙂
My pleasure! Not gonna lie her main stats don’t matter much which is why I didn’t bother covering them. You just want to hit ER requirements. You can build EM a lot on Bloom but otherwise it’s really up to you. She’s not really there for personal damage as much but for hydro application, but if you care about personal damage then you can run hydro damage bonus and crit stats on non bloom teams But ER is number 1 by far otherwise she’s pretty much useless
@@jeanpierrelizarraga539if you wanna use her with arleccino and don’t want personal damage that much from candace, look for hp. It will boost your on field character normal attack damage thanks to her passive (3rd one if not mistaken)
It should be illegal to lie to your viewers like this. She is not Dehya. She is actually not good. Arlecchino players play her like: Look! My Arlecchino does less dmg than every other relevant team I could run! It's so good! No, Arlecchino is just carrying. Loo, I like Candace too. I play her with Nilou. But we don't have to lie & pretend she actually has teams she's good in.
@@kaikawasumi I get that everyone has their own thoughts but Candace can actually be very viable and even best in teams with characters like Mualani and Arlecchino. There’s no lie here and I’m not here to sell very poor ideas. I’ve played these first hand and they are very good and not mediocre. You feel the difference. It might be worth checking out different videos to see how she fits in. There’s a lot of potential there!
