How often do you celebrate your team's wins with them?
I'm not just talking about celebrating the end of a big project but all the little things on the way. Do you celebrate the breakthroughs people have, the solution found for a small problem, the overcoming of a fear?
When we celebrate the small wins, we help reinforce positive behaviours. Plus it will increase the team member's wellbeing as they feel good about their achievement.
Celebrating the win could just take the form of congratulating the person but you could implement a reward too. This doesn't need to be big. It could be a cake from the local bakery or an Amazon voucher. It just needs to be something that person will appreciate to really reinforce their understanding of what a good job they've done.
