Because those that scream on Twitter and other Global site usually louder around the world. While the CN/JP usually confine at CN/JP and rarely came outside the world unless we search for it.
Genshin fanbase is like Asian racism (please this is a joke, hear me out). EN hates EN, and CN hates EN, and everyone else hates CN, but EN is so loud, everyone knows Everyone hates EN.
Because English people generally like to baby Eastern Asians and treat them like they don't have brains. The CN community is 1000x worse than the EN one but cuz they're Asian nobody takes them seriously or pays attention to them and just assumes theyre all good people.
I don't think its copos doing it. Like imagine bunch of gray hairs sitting around a table saying "let's set up bots to create drama in genshin community"..ya I dont see that happening. I bet these are just angry players who are dissatisfied with the game or hoyo as a whole that are pushing out bots and minipulating the analytics. Its common knowledge that the gacha community is unhinged. These are the same people who tried to off the ceo over pixels, so this kind of behaviour is just expected.
I'm pretty sure they don't care about any drama. Point is that Tencent and Bilibili owns a lot of shares for other gacha games like FGO, Frontline, Wuwa, etc. Hoyo has in fact refused selling shares to Tencent. Long story short is, they are competing in the gacha gaming sphere. Are they painting a smear campaign against their competition? We don't know. But to say they don't have a reason is false.
@@hurricaneb6243 They really don't. Hoyo are literal peasants compared to Tencent. So no they don't care. Bilibili, maybe..but the risk:gain ratio is so bad that they've to be brainded to do smth like that. It's not the US, they don't have as many privileges, they mess with the CCP or their associates they'll get yeeted out of the market permanently. So no, I refuse to believe or even assume they do smth so dumb without irrefutable evidence.
@@bigfootisreal_ sorry, your reply is kinda loaded so I might type too much. I think the backlash you're talking about is already happening. If people are posting porn on bilibili, with the threat of imprisonment, then I think I can consider that as a "backlash" to what they think the company is doing. They weren't doing this before, just after the Natlans livestream. And honestly, I can't imagine people botting a random Natlan livestream more than the official release of Natlan itself. You can say "that's just crazy Chinese people". But if you're willing to say and believe that, then at least let me believe "maybe evil big multi-Billion company VS the around-Billions company, who's very competitive in the gacha sphere". Hell, China is in the top 10 countries in terms of censorship. Why would their "RU-vid" even be susceptible to porn content, to the point it becomes a problem? There's too much evidence for me to say "nah, it can't happen. Big corpo can't risk being a dick". They always do though. And honestly, they can totally do what they want. I don't think both companies are specifically aligned with the CCP. Hell, the CCP probably don't care what shady tactics these two do against each other, so as long as they don't express anti-government sentiments. At least that's what I think, considering the amount international Property development scams the country has produced with the CCP not blinking an eye, but shooting Alibabas foot because the owner is kinda too quirky for the CCP.
@@hurricaneb6243 I have a feeling we'll go in circles on this topic. So if that's what you believe in then ok. I just want to point out that for Tecent, Hoyo is not a financial threat. They have around 800 investments and worth almost half a trillion. Every single gacha game to which Genshin is a competition can shutdown today and would barely make any difference on their charts. So they 100% don't care. Bilibili idk 100%. But this kind of stunt doesn't make sense to me as it'll make no difference nor hurt Hoyo in the grand scheme. Most Genshin players, especially the casuals and whales don't pay attention to these things. So I believe it's an exploit abused by angry players. This ain't the first time players there started using bots to help with their cause. People have done similar things on YT as well. A couple of weeks ago someone manipulated the algorithm to get a nude thumbnail (a girl with her bush out) livestream on a lot of people's home page - happened to me as well.
majority of the world don't know this fact: Chinese people are the biggest hater of knock off. Back when genshin's first release, it was mocked for being a BoTW rip off. Y'all can watch accented cinema's video about cars movie knockoff, genshin's part was near at the end of the video.
Nah, as mentioned Genshin is backed by the CCP eversince Mihoyo joined them like two years ago, even Bilibili doesn't have the balls to target CCP pets like Hoyo, Genshin fans specially in CN just loves drama actually anything about Genshin(again specially drama) and see how much they overreact.
Hoyo is a part of the CCP and not Bilibili? Hoyo is a private company, so it would make more sense that they aren't part of the CCP. They still have to follow CCP regulations in China, but that doesn't make them part of the CCP.
Yup Hoyo is under CCP just google it or look it up in r/Genshin_Impact as to how and why, why do you think Hoyo is completely dominating gacha games in CN? Because their games are perfect and great? Lmao
@@ardee9337 Isn't that due to them growing to a significant size so that they have to? That just seems like more CCP regulation. And don't be so narrowminded to think that Hoyo only dominates the gacha market in CN due to the CCP. Hoyo broke the normie barrier outside CN as well, or did you forget about that?
@@ardee9337 Credit where credit is due, compared to most gacha games their's are actually pretty high quality. They've on several occasions set new standards in the genre and have pushed the limits of quality... despite the unfortunately serious issues in gameplay, dialog, and incredibly stingy behavior with special events with Genshin. Mihoyo created very strong competition in the Gacha market. Now other companies are rising up to that competition with their own improvements. I think overall they've been a good thing for the genre.
@@ardee9337 Then you aren't looking at the right news. There has been multiple instances that they almost got fcked because of people trying to cancel them using the CCP. Out of all the gaming companies in China, I would say Hoyo understands Nerd culture the most. I'd say it's harder for them because of how much the CCP rules stifles a lot of stories and themes, just for them not to get cancelled.
@@macchiatomonas much as I dislike all the hoyoverse games I like how they still raised the bar. I try their games but then don’t like them, not liking the company is a biproduct of just disliking the games for me.
Ppl in the west have no fuckin idea how insane gacha communities is in china. Dawei cried on the livestream is partually duo to this enornous amount of pressure on the internet social media, particularly from the gacha communities. He said he cant find what is the real voices from acrual genshin player because you literally cant trust anyone speaking online.
Im gonna laugh if 5.0 comes out and loses gas very quickly and were back to square one lol I'm excited for 5.0 but i got a gut feeling its not gonna be good
@okwoco no, but the devs have constantly spit on the face of its community with their bad rewards and changes that are only being implemented after 5 years.
Black Rock has way too many shares on Bilibili (with all those BR companies). No surprised they push against the bigger fish in the pot, they want more space. It really sucks for players, because they are just treated as mere numbers.
💀 This is the reason why people literally should touch grass… whether it’s from EN or CN. There’s too much brain rot with these communities as if it’s the most important thing to do in the internet.
Failing to buy a piece from Hoyo made Tencent this salty? jk. Maybe Tencent has still beefs with Hoyo after their rejection that happened years ago LMAO.
"Genshin is ccp puppet and spreads its words".....are you all forgeting what sumeru story was about? Or do any of you know the story that inspired 4.3 event? Or that they literally fired ccp workers that just didnt contribute to their vision of the game?...they far from puppet😂 they just too big to just remove them and dawei is too high up there
