The only original mobile game (which didn't got ported from its pc version) which is still holding its place in top mobile games be it in casual gameplay or esports (and it's over a decade old) ...that's clash of clans for ya.❤️ Great video mate👍
I've been playing this game for the past 6 years (definitely not the real OGs), but this game never gets old. It's so tempting to open that icon and just start grinding...
You put it in such good words. It's not about the end goal, it's about the journey. I've been playing for 10 years now on and off, and the game is still as fun as the day that I started when I was a kid. Hell even more fun now with how easy the game has gotten since 2012 and all the strategies that I never tried before. Clash of Clans down to its gameplay, music, sound effects, all of it is perfect and is truly timeless. I've been listening to the classic village theme for years now, and I still never get bored of that theme. As well as the sound effects that just makes the game shine, and so satisfying. I legit don't see Clash of Clans as a game, I see it as part of life, when you start playing, you're in for the long haul. Its where you strategize, planning, loot management, hanging out with your clan mates, fight other clans, learn new ways to attack and defend, and just so much more. There's just so many things in this game, that for me it's past beyond that of a game from my point of view.
I honestly don't know why COC has an addicting feeling to it, It has the forge that has a daily clan gold reward but a decent amount of games have and the others have a slight repetetive feeling to be forced to log on every day collect the daily reward and leave and repeat, but with COC yeah you can collect all your gold, elixer, dark elixer, clan gold, builder gold, builder elixer, gems and you can attack for more, all I enjoy is that sometimes I get to socialise with my mates that I don't get to see at school anymore and at times we have the wars and raid weekends every now and again, COC is just a beutiful game and I hope it stays alive for more 5 decades as so much care and thought was put into this majestic gem of gaming that people insult by "You still play that game, thought it died a while ago but I guess you're wierd?". But the main thing that games are meant for entertainment and fun and if it's online, it's has a social aspect so any of these types of games, on console, PC, Mobile, any device you're on it's meant for fun not aguements and a type of war like the console wars, so please anyone ready this, try to enjoy the game at it's fullest and if there is an exploiter ruining the game you're on like CoD, exit the match and play something like the campaign to relax, so anyone who got this far reading this paragraph, enjoy what the games you enjoy best and have a good time having a nice experience with your mates online and if it's offline like singleplayer minecraft, enjoy it to the fullest extent. So, enjoy your time playing a game.
there are a lot of many things that makes me keep coming back to the game... - fantastic cinematic animations they do of the troops etc, It's good to watch those sick animations and finally use the troops characters. - special events they do corresponding to the real world, like Christmas season they do all sorts of events - Supercell is like apple is to smartphones they respect players, they listen to them often, they make the game equally interesting for free to play players and with recent strategies of gold pass and hero skins, scenery, they are generating a good revenue to keep investing on the game COC has become something like a old classic movie that can compete with the recent games not because of it's graphics etc but because I like it and it has been a part of my life for long.
You are completely right about everything you said, the game is so much detailed and the process of doing progress is straight up entertaining. One point that i think you should've talk about is the animated youtube videos they made, I remember that when I was just a kid I used to love those videos and they are a huge part of why some players even tried the game in first place.
Just found this vid when I searched up clash of clans and see only 2k views this deserves more also recently I’ve seen a lot of vids from underrated new creators praising clash of clans and I really love these type of vids now
100% right on everything, the reason why I play it now is to max out my th15. Clash has so many things in it that you can play it forever now and not get burned out.
No matter how many times I "quit" coc, I just comeback at it when I'm bored. I usually quit when I find new games but when I get bored playing that game, nothing beats coc even if I'm so far behind from being a max th. IDK why but even though it take years to max them all, I just don't run out of patience compared to other games.
What I find it interesting is that the upgrading and waiting process doesn't exactly give me a dopamine rush. It's cool cause because of that, it doesn't really tempt me too much into spending money on the game. The one thing that give you a dopamine rush is of course, 3 starring a base with a fantastic strategy.
Surprisingly good video, looking forward to more content with this kind of production value! Proud to call myself a subscriber, #roadto10subs lets go :D
That troop list at 4:51 is so incomplete lol. Like its missing the royal champ, all the super troops, the yeti, and quite a few others lol. I require my clan mates to have lvl 8 barbarian and archer, and my grandwarden is currently at lvl 40, to put things into perspective even more lolol
I politely disagree. I recently reached a (non-super-) max TH14 when that was the max and it felt a lot emptier, I reached the elusive goal I had for years and yet I kept playing for the clan. So that keeps me playing too.
Because it had and still has actual love and care put into it. Lots of big updates every year like clan capital while most other mobile games are garbage ad farms
