Amr bin al-Ahwas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:treat women well, for they are like captives to you. If they do so, then you may separate from their beds and strike them but if they obey you then you may do nothing against them. (Ahmad, Musnad) He (rahimahullah) responded by saying: "When it comes to the first Hadith; it has been reported from Nabi (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) through an unreliable chain of narrators. You stole something that was not yours so therefore the Judge is going to find you guilty. God is the same way. But, this Judge is a loving Judge who does not want to sentence you for your crimes. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to come and take the punishment for your sins and if you Repent of your sins and accept jesus Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior then you will be saved from the sentence. Egypt chose Riwayah of Hafs an Aasim as the only "official" arabic Quran nriwayah. Why if every Quran Qira'at is the same word for word and letter by letter. Why did they not choose riwayah of Warsh which they read in North Africa, what is wrong with riwayah of Warsh. Does not make sense if all Qurans are the same. Also arabic Quran today is written in classical arabic Kufic script but Mushaf al-Uthmani was written in Hiifazi script. Why ? Akhi you are using very weak taqiyya regarding the right of Muslim men to hit their wives. The verse 4:34, which allows a man to ‘strike’ his wife in case of stubborn disobedience, All scholars agree that the striking mentioned in the verse is “without severity” (ghayru mubarriḥ) or “without pain” (ghayru mu’allim). It is only in the case when a wife habitually violates her marriage contract and after other means have been taken but failed to correct her behavior. Amr bin al-Ahwas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:treat women well, for they are like captives to you. Verily, you have no right treat them otherwise, unless they commit flagrant immorality. If they do so, then you may separate from their beds and strike them but if they obey you then you may do nothing against them. Some of the hadiths are for tribal society setup and would be redundant with the modern societies where law and order and police is present with a big budget and services so I don’t want to get into those nonconsequential Hadiths for present day countries because the men of the household in most societies these days are no more capable due to lack of social and tribal kind of upbringing, values, education and setup! First instill the values and check/test(written exam on values) if the men are good/pass the test and give them permit to be the head of the household or like in tribal society if husband beats them the lady can go to the governor/mayor of the town and dispute it so let women who are beaten if they kick children in home or injure children then file a lawsuit If you go into tribal societies and villages of any place, the policeman for the home is the head of the household and they are patriarchal societies since the days of Abrahamic prophets! In these days there is no need to hit women like in the time of Abraham where Abraham had to leave Hagar in the desert without any legal ramifications! Todays society is different- no one can leave a woman in the desert without abduction and kidnap charges! In Hindu Indian tribes and villages the head of the household is the husband and he has more privileges than in Islamic and Abrahamic scriptures. Islam gives similar or lesser privileges to the head of the household than in Abrahamic scriptures I believe! Evolve and think logically please brother! Be practical and let me know what else would work in remote desert tribal areas if there is no police and law machinery like courts , phone calls, roads etc. One may ask to give women the head of the household- this can happen in minuscule cases but try giving women the head of the household role and authority to beat men lightly to bring things in control (where there is no police available ) , in even non-Muslim tribal societies it won’t work! @@SheikhAlladeen I don’t know why they chose the one they chose but hear is the deal - in the Arabic script there are vowels that are explicitly written or ignored when writing the words, but read the same way so either is alright! I can’t give a example in English but it’s like writing ‘I’ as I or ‘I’ like an I-beam(rotate ‘H’ 90 degrees angle to make an ‘I’ too) - both mean the same ‘I’ though different style of writing ! Talk to a reputed Arabic language history teacher or similar if you want more details!

I mostly find people changing their religion because they felt letf-out in their current state and community, and mainly wanted to belong to a specific community .... that's the general reason for laymen and women even though most would deny that and try to justify their choice by trying to paint their new community into an extraordinary light of positivity .... unless u really want to walk the path of a priest/mullah/pastor, where the reason's mainly religious .....

The video that I spoke about attracted me and I like to say something about Islam, since I am an Arab Muslim, but what I would like to say is that Islam is not just a religion and religion is the expression of the two Shahada and the practice of Islamic rituals. Rather, religion is in itself a philosophy, but a philosophy different from earthly philosophies It is far from anything because it is a distinct philosophy, as it is a heavenly philosophy, and the philosophy of heaven has a distinctive pattern that is understood by subconscious mental perception. Therefore, most Arab Muslims in particular do not realize this point because they practice religion by heredity and not through intellectual culture and understanding and awareness of their religion. Rather, religion, as Arab Muslims, is a mixture between customs, traditions and a superficial religious concept. So religion is not practiced well but very badly. Most of us are turned on reality for social and political reasons, which led to a cultural and intellectual decline, and then led to a distortion in our religion's thought. Very few in our society practice the hobby of reading and intellectual self-development, and many of us seek trivialities or search for pleasures or a livelihood in all its forms. Therefore, the religion between truth and practice is different, but it is in the original one but the problem lies in the recipient of the religion, either by inheritance or by acquisition, and I mean acquisition, the transformation from one religion to another as a result of research and intellectual mental investigation.

Muslims don't believe in the Bible and Torah like you said. And I'm sure you didn't mean it sister. Muslims believe in the initial message of Jesus and Moses, and it's the same that all prophets came with. When Muslims say they believe in the Bible and the Torah, they mean the initial Bible and Torah not the Bible and Torah that the Christians and Jews believe in. I was born Christian. I left becuse there is no proof Jesus died on a cross and the bible has been proven to be changed every year and everyday a new bible comes out. What was your families thought on you being Muslim ?
