I drive semis for a living our insurance went way up you know if you have one little fender-bender it may not be your fault you get penalized for turning it into your insurance what's the point of having insurance all they're doing is ripping us off i for one month insurance on a semi truck never had no violations almost 3,000 a month and I have 6 trucks that's on one truck

The cost of auto insurance has always been high the ex governor raised it, strange that he came from a background of insurance or somehow related, the cost of insurance is a scam in Nevada people are being ripped off. How can anyone afford to own anything. The rents, the energy, insurance, groceries, all take turns jumping higher and higher but wages don’t go anywhere does that even make sense?

Vehicle insurance is the biggest scam ever. Just get Virgina tags they don't require proof of insurance to get tags my cousin hasn't paid insurance in over 20 years and he lives in North Carolina
No one has explained nothing to me about increase in car insurance rates across our Las Vegas Valley. I didn't get a answer from nobody. I didn't get a word from NOBODY!!! NOTHING!!! NO ANSWER!!! NOT NOTHING!!!
There are too many drunk, high, and violent drivers. Add the over abundance of bars/pubs/saloons/taverns, liquor stores, weed dispensaries that contribute to a huge drunk/high driving problem. Insurance companies know this, it's not a secret so they charge higher rates in Southern Nevada. No one in state government wants to put any restrictions on liquor/weed sales because it's a jobs program. So Nevada can dream on about diversifying it's economy.
seriously! you can be the most defensive driver and still be involved in unavoidable situations. i always watch dashcam vids and the ones that terrify me the most are when a tire suddenly comes off and another hits it causing roll overs, stuff like that. people dont realize stuff like that happens everyday in a split second, being unavoidable.
So true, insurance companies know there are too many bars/taverns/pubs/saloons, liquor stores, weed dispensaries in Southern Nevada compared to other metro areas. Add the thug drivers that use their cars as weapons. That's 50% of the higher insurance costs. Then personal injury lawyers can sue twice, the at fault driver and injured drivers insurance company. No one in state government wants to address it because liquor, weed, etc are jobs programs.
Nevada Auto Insurance takes into consideration CREDIT SCORES to determine Auto Insurance rates, and in a town where many work in the poorly paid hospitality industry, how can they be expected to have a good credit score with low wages, high rents, and alot of debt?

Your insurance is paying for these companies to have parties and dinner at the high end restaurants think about that, start asking these city and state officials what are they going to do for you? Enough is enough!
Here in Carson City, Nevada I had AAA Insurance and my yearly cost with full coverage shot up $529 a year. I dropped them and shopped around. I found Costco has Car Insurance and my 6 month cost is $551 every 6 months full coverage. AAA before I paid $1349 a year and it shot up an additional $529 a year. I have no accidents no bad records or anything AAA couldn't tell me. They blamed it on out of state tax. Yea, right!
