रफी साहब से हटकर वो कभी किसी और गायक के बारे में सोचते भी नहीं थे...और अगर हम रफी साहब और ओपी नैयर साहब के कॉम्बिनेशन से बने कुल गानों की बात करें तो नैयर साहब ने रफी साहब से 197 गाने गवाए हैं...इनमें से 56 गाने ऐसे थे जो रफी साहब के सोलो यानि कि एकल गाने थे..
लेकिन उन्होंने भी एक मौके पर रफी साहब को नज़रअंदाज़ करते हुए किसी और सिंगर से एक वो गाना रिकॉर्ड करवाया था...जिसकी धुन उन्होंने रफी साहब को ध्यान में रखते हुए ही तैयार की थी...और इसे वो रफी साहब से ही गवाना भी चाहते थे...लेकिन आखिर ऐसा क्योकर हुआ कि उन्हें इस गाने को किसी और सिंगर से रिकॉर्ड करवाना पड़ा...क्या था पूरा माजरा...कौन सी थी वो फिल्म जिसमें इस गाने का इस्तेमाल हुआ और वो दूसरा गायक कौन था जिसे ओपी नैयर जी ने रफी साहब के स्थान पर चुना था...यही बताने वाले हैं हम अपने इस वीडियो में...
