@@Elphin89tbf vader wanted to kill palpy from the get go. It’s why he says to padme “I AM MORE POWERFUL THAN PALPATINE WE COULD KILL HIM AND RULE THE GALAXY TOGETHER MAKE THINGS WHAT THEY WERE MEANT TO BE”
@@elijahknox4421exactly this. Like there’s no loyalty either way. But once Vader lost his wife he just a slave as he had no other options to gain the powerful so he can bring her back to life
Bow: “So, what happened to Commander Vil?” Vader: “He fell. You’re in command now, Commander Bow” Bow: “So… we went from Rex who was confirmed dead in the crash that killed ARC Lieutenant Jesse and the rest of the 332nd, to Commander Appo who literally got decapitated by a Jedi, to Vil who *fell* to me…?” Vader: “…” Bow: *visible fear*
It's very unlikely he was "terrified." That's just clickbait titling. What he probably means is that Vader was more cautious around his own legion because he knew they could turn on him at any moment for any reason at Palpatine's command. I doubt he is scared of the order and is only more aware of his surroundings and less likely to lure himself into a disadvantage against the clones should they suddenly begin to open fire on him.
Well if your half robot an need to relax or reboot I'm sure you need some gaurds to watch your door so no one assassinates you. Course if the assassin is the guard himself you wouldn't sleep as easy as well
Vader did have an apprentice named starkiller… and even tried to recruit Luke so they could kill the emperor… so I’d say Vader wanted to kill him so many times.
Order 151: Kill Vader Order 67: Dance in front of Jedi Order 66: Kill Jedi in front of Jedi Order 65: Kill troopers in front of Jedi Order 64: *KILL DISNEY CHARACTERS*
Palpatine and Vader was always a double edged sword relationship, one never getting too close to the other, Palpatine was fearful and Vader distrusting and both just expecting one to kill the other...
It's the reason Palpatine designed Vader's suit to make it difficult for Vader to overthrow him, because we all know Vader would have done that if he reached his full potential.
@@emperorborgpalpatine You must not know the lore because Palpatine most definitely designed Vader's suit. He didn't build it, but he designed it to be outdated to make it painful for Vader as to strengthen his connection to the dark side.
@FunnyandNotFunnyStuff you telling the literal palpatine don't know his history is quite funny. I guess it wasn't dr cylo the cyborg genius, but me, the dark lord of the sith also the cybernetic master designer. Do you also think I clean all the clogged sewers and dust all the shelves with a maid costume?
from what i got from reading the vader comics with doctor aphra im pretty sure palpatine was happy whenever he learned of vader scheming to overthrow or betray him because it meant he was a sith and not just a mindless follower
Hey, that is just insane. I always wondered why Vader became so distrusting with the empire out of nowhere, and it wasn’t just Luke and he didn’t know about lea. So honestly, I found that one of the coolest stories.
Darkside way of thinking is very intriguing, they willing to betray yet always suprised when the other do same. Look at count doku and anakin reaction...
The other clone: what happened? Vader: he fell Clone: and you didnt use the force to save him? Vader, now realising he has to explain 2 cases of the same fate to sideous: fuck
What’s funny is if the Jedi found out about order 65, palps and Anakin if he turned would have been fucked because it’s order 66 but for the Chancellor. I’m pretty sure this only existed just in case palps wasn’t the chancellor and need to rise to power.
@@DarthRinzler almost all Master Jedi were killed by those same legions, exept if you think Vader can take dozens of master Jedi by himself at the same time, he can't take them all by himself
Well that would also explain the other aspect to why vader wanted anakin to join him rather than fight im,unlike with palpatine who's known to stab his apprentices in the back in order to further his goal of being the truest form of sith to live vader would have compassion to teach his son and if his son accepted there wouldnt be any need for distrust. It makes it interesting overall to think about really.
A whole order of jedi, after years, knowing that the sith created the clones, never discovered Order 66. And one asthma having guy finds out about 151 in mere days
If it was legends. The. Likely a different method. If not. Firmware updates could happen offworld I imagine. Plus if it's in Disney's Canon. Tjere had to be other clone facilities left in some capacity after the fall of the main one in bad batch
Inhibitor chips were BS clutch writers of Clone Wars came up with after they made seasons of clones being waaay too chummy with Jedi. Legend's concept of Great Republic Army and Jedi Order was way more chilling and terrifying. Clone army was based on things like Hitler's Youths of Nazi Germany. They were essentially slave child soldiers that were indoctrinated, pressured, and brainwashed straight from infancy to be scarily efficient, disciplined and obedient soldiers loyal to the Republic i.e. Republic Chancellor (Palpatine) and not at all their Jedi Generals that were lower on the hierarchy. As long as they were ordered, they would do anything, including warcrimes, as long as it didn't violate their other directives. Would they privately mourn or have their own thoughts? Yes, but such was their life. They were even intentionally kept in the dark about normal common sense civilian life things like concepts of jobs, money, rent, relationship, family etc. to ensure that even if some did decide to leave, which was unlikely given their faster aging and peer pressure or fear of unknown, it would ridiculously hard for them to survive. Even then there were secret kill squads (made from normal Republic black ops) dedicated solely to tracking down and killing deserters. Pretty much (with some VERY rare exceptions) the only clones who were able to leave GRA and continue living were Commandos, ARCs, etc. who were educated to be far more adaptable and flexible in their thinking due to their positions. Normal grunts were effed. This added another layer to Jedi Order. I mean, they didn't have second thoughts about using such a messed up organization to their own means, often brought more harm than good because of their command incompetency while being pretty callous and was overall pretty hypocritic. The fact that Jedi Order actually agreed to comman Clone Troopers was another foreshadowing and illustration of just how rotten and hypocritic Republic Jedi Order was as well Yeah, you can see why many fans were angry about inhibitor chips. They just threw out an entire pretty well though out and terrifying plot point that forced you to think and had parallel to real world fascist regime for a simple "CHIPS MADE THEM DO THIS!"
palpatine- haha vader will be stupid enough to believe i wont have the same order for him as i did the jedi vader-discovers order 151 palpatine- hey you aren't supposed to think lord vader
