Corvette Daytona Prototypes were raced in IMSA prototype series and other racing events as GM's return to the highest level of performance racing as a full constructor. With a 5.5L LS-based engine block the Daytona Prototype Corvettes are purpose built race cars made to take on any racetrack at the highest speeds possible.
This one was seen at the Celebration Exotic Car Festival track day at Daytona to benefit the CECF Wish Foundation as well as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and you can hear it start up as it leaves the paddocks for the racetrack.
