He occasionally is on the CBS Sports champions league panel with Henry Carragher and Micah Richards and hes always hilarious when hes on the show. He has great banter and also is a good pundit
Del Piero needs to have his own podcast man, he is brilliant, so down to earth and so freaking funny. Just imagine the amount of people he can bring to the show: all his Juventus fellas, Figo, Casillas, his "lads" from the incredible Man Utd.... just imagine how entertaining, multicultural and funny the show can be
Love Del Piero ! my favorite player ever and also the player who made me love football and Juventus! Im glad that you got him to play in this game ! even at his age always a plasure ! Thank you Shoot for Love! :D
I’ll always have so much respect for del piero for staying with juve when they got relegated. If that happened today to any top club in the world, I dont think there is a single player on the planet who would do what Del Piero did
@@syirodigibit912 You dont know nothing about what happend and its not only Juve involved but the biggest punishment who takes ? those that are the greatest ! inform yourself before talking ! Milan Inter Fiore Lazio and many more are involved and Milan was the second time ! probably u are a plastic fan who is nr1 that is your team ! :*
both goalkeepers played at a high professional level and since you don't know this match is spear vs shield meaning 11 attackers vs 11 defenders where the spear goalkeeper is know to dribble out the box and provide more attacking options. so the game is not ruined but all according to plan. hope you understand now😅
As a Del Piero fans, I really glad that he is still active in the media, having some english content like this. Because we miss him on the pitch very much and this is like a compensate for foreign fans. This is a great clip full with humor and also touching when talking about Juve. 🥹 Grazie capitano 🤍🖤
Thats a joke becoz they faced "defender" team. Which used to play hard, dirty hard tackle. Typical defender.. whats wrong with u, if u had a problem in life, go to the doctor. psychiatrist or psychology maybe
hahahahahah...amazing episode and absolute respect & admiration for Ale from a Milan fan. That 2002 was ref was just fucking rigged, for both Italy n Spain
Stupid.. Juventus didnt want Delpiero, so he is leaving. Thats why fans angry bcoz juve didnt sign him a new contract. So He went to aussie to play for sidney fc. And then indian league.
You don't know how it went, probably you are too young to remember. Money was never a problem with Alex, he wanted to end his career at Juventus. In 2012, when his contract was due to end, he even offered Juve to renew it with a blank check, meaning whatever they wanted to give him (Less money or even almost nothing) would have been ok with him. Unfortunately, a disastrous club management team and a quite hostile coach, definitely ungrateful people, didn't want Del Piero anymore in the club, they perceived him as too old (At 38) and as a bit of a heavy load, even if in his final season at Juve Del Piero, usually playing as a substitute in the second half of games, contributed some very important goals in some key matches to help Juventus returning to win its first national title since the 2006 Calciopoli scandal. What a poor treatment for a club legend and recordman. Del Piero, who has always been a very self-proud person, and rightly so, thought he still had some few years of active football in him. He wanted to spend them in Juventus but, having found this surprising ostracism, he had to make other plans. Certainly he wouldn't have betrayed Juve with any other Italian club, that's for sure. So he decided to look abroad for his next step in professional football. He ultimately decided not to remain in Europe as well, as he might have encountered Juventus in UEFA cups/tournaments, so he looked out of Europe as well. He received an offer from Sydney FC. It wasn't more lucrative than others, and the club wasn't a top club. But he accepted that offer to play in Australia in order to be a sort of ambassador of football in a country and in a continent, Oceania, where the football movement was still underdeveloped. After a couple of years at Sydney, where he scored 24 goals in 48 appearances (So, still a goal every two matches), once his contract was over and now approaching his 40 years, Del Piero accepted an offer for just one year at Delhi Dynamos, maybe the only offer he accepted for money in all his career. He played just one year in India before retiring from professional football
@@Uetti Australia and subsequently India was totally motivated by $$ otherwise he would have retired and accepted a management role at Juve's staff. Nobody can blame him. It's unfortunate that Juventus treated him like garbage, he's a Juve legend after all. Similar story happened with Totti when AS Roma told him to quit but the Roma Captain decided to quit. All carrier with only one jersey that's what we called in Italy a "bandiera". Del Piero is not.
