Why did Allah created us? 

"I only created the Jinn and human beings to worship me" Nothing settles it better than this verse.

Allah has created us and we have a very fair question why our creator created us in the first place?. Allah created us because He is able to create and created not just humans but everything in the universe and beyond. Allah has created us with a purpose and that is to worship Him. Worship means not just offering prayers but follow His guidance and commandments while living this limited life. This life is a test if we pass this test by following the commandments of Allah we get eternal peace and eternal life with no regrets of the past and no worries and uncertainty of the future. Allah want us to join Him as eternals in the paradise and that is the ultimate goal of this life. Now what we do when we get there in paradise? We will get what no eyes has seen no ear has heared and no brain has ever imagined. IT MEANS WE have an eternal peaceful and full of opportunities galaxial life ahead. Allah loves us and want us to be there. But those who reject faith and disobey Him will go to hell so why to choose it. What stopping us from qualifying for this eternal galaxial life. May Allah guide us all. Aameen

I suppose, because Allah is so loving, he wanted to give happiness to something and so he created us. He created us inorder for us to achieve that heaven and achieve that eternal happiness. He says it is an injustice to ourselves if we do not achieve heaven. Allah is so kind =(

There is no need to fight over or argue violently with each other over this question,human mind is curious and want answers with logic to everything.. Well here is my reply to this question "why God created us" Firstly you have to accept this world is a test which is a belief of all muslims,After this now if you want to ask "why God created created us" then i and the other muslims around would say ,"to worship God" now if you say he doesn't need worship then why then here goes my answer second part... "we dont't know untill we die" think for a moment,an astronat took an ant with himself to international space station in space and placed that ant on a table there,the ant is just exactly looking at the big screen on which the weather forecasts are being made by the scientists,so o want to ask you do you think the ant will understand what on earth is going on and what the hell are these creature doing ?? The answer simple a big NO ! Its just simply beyound the mind grasp of the ant to understand the thimgs around,because his wisdom is too limited.. So is for the man , we simply don't have enough perceptions,knowledge,wisdom and sight to know why God made us ? Also in a test there must be hurdles and spikes which can make you slow and lose but God has given you "free will" and a straight path to believe in so don't be misguided.. This is why people who do not worship Allah will go to Hell: First of all, Allah does not us. We need Him. Worship is not just prayer. A major part of worship is gratitude. Allah has provided us with so many blessings and favours in this life and in this world around us, from eyesight to food, to the beauty of this world. These are His blessings and gifts for us which He gave us without us even asking for them and even knowing about them. He created us and He created everything to fulfill our needs without us doing anything for him in advance. So that when we enjoy the blessings and make use of the good things Allah has given us, we may acknowledge Him and appreciate Him by showing our gratitude. The main component of the salat, the prayer is the Alhamd (Surah Fatiha); All praises be to Allah...the Cherisher and Sustainer of all the worlds....." This is HaqooqAllah, the rights of Allah that He should be acknowledged and appreciated. As Allah has created life and death as a test, Allah sees which of His servants acknowledge His favours, and thank Him for these favours so that He should give even more blessings and favours in Jannah to them. What's the point of giving more favours to those who do not even acknowledge the favours and blessings given in this world? They are showing by their ingratitude that they do not deserve any more goodness of Heaven to come from Allah. Therefore, the Hellfire is their abode because they do not appreciate anything Allah has done for them. Secondly, the other way to show gratitude to Allah for all His favours and blessings upon us is to be good to His creation, because when you appreciate something, you should treat it well, take care of it, keep it safe from any harm that comes from yourself or from others. If you don't then that means you truly do not appreciate it and it has no value in your eyes or its creator has no value in your eyes. So this is Haqooq ul Ibad, the rights of the creation. To fulfill the rights of His creation, Allah has given us complete guidelines about how to treat each other, the environment and creatures around us. When we do not follow these guidelines, Allah's commands, the creation will suffer one way or the other. Sometimes we may not see the damage being done immediately but every time we break Allah's commands, unless we take action to rectify it, there is damage being done somewhere, which might be apparent in near or far in the future. This damage is hurting Allah's creation. When you hurt someone or something, justice and Mercy and love towards for the innocent being hurt demands that he/she who has done the damage should compensate for it, either by suffering punishment in this world or in the next. This is why people who sin will end up in Hell. In other words, those who did not worship Allah. In the first instance, the people of the Hellfire will be those who have never appreciated the good things in this life and never thanked the creator of those good things so they don't deserve the even better things in the afterlife. In the second instance, people of the Hellfire will be those who do not value the creation of Allah and do not treat them well thereby causing pain and suffering to others, for which they deserve being punished. None of these situations are caused by Allah. Rather man has CHOSEN these results for himself. Subhan Allah. Allah is free from all the negative things people associate with Him.

Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed. And none differed over the Scripture except those who were given it - after the clear proofs came to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves. 2:213

I heard that God rewards people and some rewards that he gives could also be a test. true?

Allah create us with a drop of water ( sperm ) then why not He create us after death. He Allah is great.He created plants and trees with almost dry seed.Allah is great.

While its true that god requires worship, its not true that this is our purpose. It doesnt make sense to worship someone who is not offering anything. What i mean is worship and relationship comes through the bonding process. How can you bond with someone who calls you and treats you as a slave?

Adam and Eve did not ruin anything. We were created to worship God. We are all part of Adam (pbuh) and he gave us some of his life. Do not blame adam for anything! Everything was the will of God.

Ok that's fine , but why ? Why create beings in the first place . He doesn't need anything or anyone , so why? If He knows the unknown and all that will happen and the end results of everything and everyone, then what's the point? His kingdoms are neither increased nor decreased whether everyone and everything worshipped Him or not . I mean at this point since NO ONE and I mean NO ONE has been able to answer this question with anything other than what the Quran says that we're meant to worship , which again brings me back to my original question, it really isn't answerable. He just created us because He can. I cannot see any other reason as to why, but I am only human and my mind is limited. It's just a question that has been bugging me for some time now.

@AkHarith67 I glad you use this example of a father and a son. Because this is what we are to God children, not slaves. Now your example starts AFTER the son was made by his father. But the question is WHY DID THE FATHER MAKE HIS SON, did the father make the son for the son, or did the father make the son for himself. The son had no choice, remember the son didnot exsist. It was the father who decided he need to make a son for his own reasons, not because the son need him to make him.

I am not that well learned in positioning, but taking into account that Allah is the supreme intelligence, it would be logical to assume that the truth/message was not full, or that it was indeed lost, or that this message was to be spread to all of humanity, and not certain groups of people.

This can't get more silly.. He said God doesn't need worship but we need worship, now isn't that crystal clear that it is God who made us in that way? Do you think you all by yourself have decided that you need worship? No, God himself designed you in that way and then he says that you need worship? How silly can this be? And B. The Quran has not been changed over the centuries. Not a single letter, vowel, consonant, anything. Some parts of the bible/torah are close to the truth, but only the Quran has the answers. I found it funny that he quoted from the Bible; I mean why quote from something that is considered to be distorted or corrupted in your eyes, to prove your interpretation is correct? Adam being from no male, no female. Eve from one male and no female, whereas Jesus was from no male and one female. He bled, he ate and he drank. This argument makes no sense. God created us in order to worship him. He must be a pretty egoistic God to create us just for that. But then you say he doesn't need our worship. It's only to benefit ourselves. Worship is what gives our lives meaning. Except we were only created in order to worship in the first place. So basically the whole thing is circular and pointless.
