Why Did Darth Vader HATE The Inquisitors?

The rule of two was never put to work in the palpatine era. He had maul as an aprentice but dooku at the same time, as established in the tales of jedi. Later he had only dooku, but dooku had ventress and grievous, ventress had quilan vos, dooku betrays ventress and takes savage, maul comes back and takes savage after his betrayal on dooku, and this goes on and on and on and on

They reminded Vader of himself so he decided that they needed to feel his pain simple enough.

Vader doesn’t need to be palpatine, he is the ORDERS of palpatine.

The Inquisitors, much like the empire and Palpatine himself, was a perverted shadow of the Old Republic era Sith Empire. Palpatine didn't care about the Sith, just himself.

Vader really was in the right to hate the Inquisitors. He probably felt that they were stepping over their places and trying to one-up Vader. No wonder Vader enjoyed dueling them. Awesome video btw.

The inquisitors weren’t true Sith, they were more like Imperial Special Forces with lightsabers. They did not receive full training specifically so that they didn’t overstep Vader or Palpatine.

Vader was so delusional it's painful. It's hard to understand the all-around highly intelligent Anakin Skywalker ever convincing himself Palpatine cared one whit about the Rule of Two, the Sith, or anything except himself

The rule of two was abolished by Palpatine once he came to power. It was established by Darth Bane as a way to overthrow the Jedi. Once the goal was met the rule became obsolete.

Why did palpatine even keep the inquisitors when they couldn’t even take down/find a Jedi who doesn’t even use the force or fight anymore, this applies for Obi was and Cal. And the inquisitors 9 times out of 10 failed from what I’ve seen

Kinda weird how none of them became extremely powerful from all of the severe dark side training. atleast one would rise above the rest. Although, he wouldn't be a simple Inquisitor if that was the case.

Vader has a great point. The Inquisitors essentially undermined him and his purpose in the Empire as Jedi hunter/top enforcer, also they were all ultimately pathetic when compared to Vader.

How can Vader dislike the Inquistors due to them violating the rule of two when both Palpatine and Plagueis wanted to become immortal thereby violating the rule of two themselves in that regard. The rule of two was over when Plagueis became the master imo.

It was better of without them. This just complicated things and should have never been in Star Wars Canon.

I mean, I guess when you're king you get to make the rules, but for all his wisdom, he was definitely shortsighted in so many ways...

Honestly and that might be just bad writing but these inquisitors are probably the most pathetic and greatest shame to the Sith in their entire history. I can't imagine that the Sith ever had such childish, ridiculous and incompetent so-called inquisitors.

It's absolutely a contravention of the rule of two. But the Sith are evil, and evil cheat, lie and break the rules.

i love clone wars and rebels, but i always thought inquisitors or any "jedi hunter" iteration was stupid. it makes zero sense when in order 66 the jedi fell to the clones and also having vader as your apprentice when he always fucks way harder than all the slow ass inquisitors plus rule of two. always felt the justifications of "palpatine wants to challenge him" is kinda an easy out for this bs afterthought of cannon material. PLUS you literally have a galactic empire that dominated everything. the only jedi hunter esque iteration that's cool is galen marek bc it added an interesting depth to vader's inner mind and relationship w his master, while also following in the footsteps of his own master and all sith

I'm growing weary of the current trajectory of Star Wars, and while blaming Disney is a common stance, I find fault with George Lucas as well. As the creator of the franchise, he handed it over to what I perceive as incompetent leftists, prioritizing a shift in the protagonist's gender over maintaining the essence of the original narrative centered around Luke.

He amputaded his own sons hand. Blinded han solo, and impaled his mentor and closest friend. We gonna act like frying randos is not par for the course.

Works for Palpatine - his whole strategy for power was divide and conquer. So by sowing descent towards Vadar, he kept Vadar busy with upstarts and his own ego, so he didn’t challenge his rule.

Inquisitors were more of a scare tactic police type group. They were trained, yes but not trained as they should've. They were taught, and shown how to fight normal people. They likely had different force strength. But they were not experienced force user's. They were to use a Lightsaber, as a fear tactic, and as a "badge of rank," and they was limited from blasters. They did what there masters wanted. Did they get big headed, likely, afterall they did think they could take on an experienced Jedi. They likely thought Sidious and Vader were the only ones as skilled as they were, thinking Jedi couldnt possibly be as skilled or strong. They may have faced a couple padawans or a couple jedi who suppressed the force for years and they could beat them or they could beat up on non force users, so each one thought to highly of themselves. They survived vader an their training. They were an extension of the emperor and vader, no one would mess with them but they could handle a situation. But vader may have secretly mistrained them, so they they couldnt beat a force user or himself. He may have cut limbs to prevent them from using force lightning, or cause pain to keep them as sith operatives..

Vader didn’t care about the Rule of Two when he was trying to recruit Luke! Really, most Sith seem to have worked around the rule of two rather than following it strictly. (IMHO the only actual rule of being a Sith is ‘don’t lose’ everything else is more of a guideline.)
