Why did DICE make Battlefields BEST Vehicle EVEN BETTER?! 

BF4s Scout wasnt as strong as the nightbird. First of all BF4 had more lethal counters inside the game, than it wasnt as fast moving or maneuverable, one team had the Z11 (unless it was a modded PC server) and the Z11 was absolute trash, giving whoever is flying the Z11 an harder time (99% of the sweats switched to US team cuz they couldnt deal with it, cuz they are fucking pussies) and finally, the goofy ass physics in 2042 allow you to literally do impossible movements to predict for the infy and bump into shit and recieve little damage. Ive seen jets crash into buildings and bridges in 2042 and somehow shrug it off, 0 dmg, BF4s physics are def not better, but atleast you get damage if you crash into buildings. Trees messed with the physics but not straight up concrete walls 😂. This gameplay also shows you that often in a match, only a couple of Lis and maybe a couple of stingers are getting used by people, I can assure you if it was BF4 and a 15+ infantry group was running around on a flag, atleast 5 or 10 of those guys would have pulled out a Smaw and shot at him at the same time. Instead he fucking kills like 25 people there before getting shot down by a lucky ass recoil-less across the street. In BF4 he would have got cross fired by a volley of fast ass Smaws and AA mines 😂 that are def harder to dodge. People could also carry like 7 of them and move in and out to cover, peek and shoot them. Here you got like 3 recoil less with an half an hour reload time and people dont even run engineer/use it to shoot at the nightbird. 99% of ppl run Smaws/RPGs/Sraws in CQ in BF4. The AA, Boats and Jets also fried the shit out of the Scout and AH in BF4, all that was needed in a server was a cancerous Stealth Jet player and you literally stopped flying for the rest of the match. Jets in 2042 are a joke, same for the AH.

The guns had the dynamic crosshair that moved based off momentum too

Yes but BF4 little bird was much harder to control and aim. The aim in 2042 is too easy and not satisfying.

I think everyone in content felt this pain. I moved on and now am coming back with more of a hobby mindset

​@@SilkOCE I'm glad to hear you've moved on - funnily enough I just watched one of your old WR BF5 videos and you seemed genuinely excited for 2042; The sense of community and hype around the game was wild, I had never heard the Battlefield franchise mentioned so many times. It's a shame for all parties that 2042 flopped, if the game was finished out of the gates I think it could've really done well. Regardless we'll never know! More importantly, welcome back! it used too but they removed it cause it basically allowed you to snipe tanks and aircraft from across the map with no risk or skill

Whilst I agree it needs some buffs mostly to its speed and agility, I don't think it is a bad vehicle. The burst damage against vehicles is mad if you pick the 127mm rockets and TOW missile, you can 1 strafe a tank if you land all your shots with no lock on to warn them. It also does really good damage to infantry. The only things that let it down are the speed and agility, it is challenging to use against other aircraft but the 127mms will take out nightbirds and stealths in 2, other Apaches/ hokums in 3 but obviously no lock ons and they're a punishing weapon to miss with. The nightbird is deffo better against everything except ground armour though

I agree! Such a bullshit like a one-shot tank… wait, no… TWO one-shot tanks shouldn’t be in the game and they should nerf the wildcat too. And they need to remove Lis and give the attack helicopters TV Missiles back.

wild cat is the easiest tank to take out as infantry with aa setup it should be good against air vehicles you need to learn the concept of rock paper scissors.

The anti air still has a huge advantage towards the helis, even if it cant lock onto them from over 600m. So it would still counter those things. But you know what wouldnt be possible anymore? Sitting in your spawn and covering at least 3/4 of the entire map. And for what i know a tank is normally supposed to be countered by a heli, isnt it? So what about the railgun tank now? Is it rock and scissors at once? Is it Schrödingers cat? Idk man you came up with that theory. As i see it, you heard this phrase somewhere and just interpeted too much into it. Yes tanks are supposed to counter infantry, helis are supposed to counter tanks and jets are supposed to counter helis. But if you played the game for more than 2 hours you should see that this game doesnt work like that. Infantry counters everything except the gunships, jets dont do anything that well, the railgun tank counters everything (if driver and gunner have good aim even infantry), Helis only counter infantry tanks and jets as long as they dont try to fight back too much, etc... This entrie game has no structure when it comes to vehicle balance. And just to underline my point: you are right that there should be some kind of rock paper scissors scheme. BUT that shouldnt nean that the rock always beats the scissors, regardless of the actual skill of the people involved. Only If both players are compareably good at what they are doing, then the favored vehicle should win.

Try to force yourself to relearn, I have a lot of hours on heli bf4 and the first two weeks were a bit akward but after it's great

Any air vehicle can't be locked onto by any vehicle using anti aircraft missiles if they are below 30 metres. Shoulder launched aa missiles will still work though

That's weird, I was gonna suggest turn off auto level but I see you already tried that. I don't really have this problem because I use a controller for playing vehicles and my throttle/ accelerator is always right trigger so I can just lightly press which doesn't level out the vehicle if I need. Have you tried using controller for vehicles you might find it better?

It's practically impossible to do well in a heli without rifle aim in 2042. Nothing makes the jets feel good though.

Why do you think they're op? I fly nightbird a lot but mostly only use agms to put pressure on ground vehicles or finish a low health vehicle. I wouldn't even try to take out a full health MAV because by the time the cooldown is over, it is repaired. The Apache/ hokum are much better for this I can take most ground armour out with one strafe and no lock on. But that's my view I accept it could be totally different for you

you do realize some of the stream snipers are active members in silk's twitch chat and are subbed to him? they won't go after silk. they even make videos which you can easily find on youtube of them hunting ashe and other streamers

Its offensive capabilities are great yes. But the reason so many good pilots choose the NB over the stealth chopper is because of its defensive abilities. Dice seemed to know how to nerf the stealth heli for good players. The stealth mode remained untouched since it was released. Because nerfing that wont stop a good pöayer from annihilating the enemy team. The problem is its low HP and lack of repair. The stealth heli should have more HP than the small and agile scout. And if you cant repair yourself that gives you a huge disadvantage in several situations. And if you wanna land to repair you increase your downtime massively. In general i would say the stealth heli is great as long as the enemy doesnt shoot back. But as soon as they do, the heli loses its value rather quick.

@@Bugfield2042 that's absolutely not the case. Situational and battlefield awareness comes into play there. Your ability to destroy any vehicle that could damage you is incredible. Air vehicles are no match when you have good aim and an equally good gunner. The only chance other helis stand against you is a surprise attack. Ground vehicles are the easiest. Any anti air vehicle is easily taken down to 25% health with one drop of the bombs and a follow-up EMP makes them an easy one tap with an AGM. You will occasionally have to stop to repair but this can be quick. The value you have to the team objective by being anti air, anti ground, and anti infantry is beyond what you can do as just a little bird pilot.

@@toddbender3463 I already told you, its offensive capabilities are great, yes. But you will loose to an equally skilled nightbird pilot (the nightbird is much harder too hit) and the attack heli annihilates you (especially with a potent gunner). Dont get me wrong, sure you can win, but that requires you to get close to the helis and just kill them before they can do much - which is possible thanks to its offensive capabilities. Long distance fights are the stealth helis death, since you cannot repair yourself, while the others can. And in general, the Nightbirds ability to avoid damage is simply worth more than the stealth helis offensive possibilities at the cost of its defense. But mate, theres a reason why solo players prefer the nightbird, and pilots playing with a friend mostly prefer the attack heli. That aside, im on PS5, and 98% of all stealth heli pilots i find here play like they never used a heli before. So maybe all that is just because the people i encounter are that terrible. But i told you what the stealth heli can do and what he cant. Its easily the best coice as long as the enemy doesnt shoot back. But as soon as they do, the attack helis larger HP pool and the scouts insane mobility outclass the stealth helis offense imo.

Notice how quickly it erases infantry, ground vehicles, and even condors. I can only imagine what silk could do with one of these playing like this.

@@toddbender3463 You are missing my points, or just not answering them. I told you 5 times already that the heli is great offensively. But defensively it is simply trash. The real dangers to a heli are unguided weapons, not lock on weapons. And the stealth heli has the hp of the scout while being far less agile and larger. Ever had a jet trying to shoot you down in the heli (regardless of the jet's skill)? And i mean them flying above you and getting a few hits. You cant do much against that because jets fly higher than helis. With other helis thats not much of a problem, because you can stall that with your repair. The stealth heli keeps losing health by this bs.
