The storm tracker was one of the only items that was only in the game for a short time that I actually got to get my hands on, it was really cool! I distinctly remember finding it and being confused and then being even more confused when I couldn’t find it again haha

I remember being pretty sad when siphon got taken out of pubs, but it was also a good thing for me. When that happened, my cousin and I started playing duo arena a ton. It was my favorite time ever playing fortnite.

10:25 nerfing turbo build was done as a way to reduce the amount of sweaty crankers. but, since the damage was irreparable, it didn;t really do much

9:35 Stretched resolution actually only increased vertical field of view, and was useful cause in such a vertical game with such zoomed in characters you got to see more and depending on what resolution you chose it could even help reduce motion sickness

Oh man this video gave me a nice run of nostalgia. Both of old fortnite and your old videos. I miss overpowered stuff in fortnite, it kinda made fortnite... Fortnite. And it also is really sad that Epic doesn't experiment with gameplay options anymore, I loved both siphon and glider redeploy (and I will always remember the following week of the removal of glider redeploy, I kept killing myself because I was so used to it.)

I haven’t taken a break from fortnite ever until this season. I get killed by people who team on me, people who use cheats, and people who follow me across the map. I die instantly every game because while I’m getting uncommon weapons my enemies are getting full legendary load outs one shotting me when I have full health in zero build with shotguns. The people have ruined the game and I barely play anymore

The storm damaging builds was in the game for a week or so I believe because, I remember being near Lucky Landing towards the end of the game and the storm turned purple and the builds broke

Would be cool if they used it in an LTM, maybe some kind of "Storm Fury" LTM where the Storm is just plain OP, storm sickness comes in faster, storm deals more damage, storm moves about faster, and so on.

Adding this here since Lachy never covered it. You were able to emote and shoot immediately after emoting. Epic added a delay to shooting after emoting shortly after an exploit with the “Deep Dab” emote came out

Double Pump was never a feature that Epic intended, it was a design flaw that they fixed. I do think the shotgun delay should be lowered cause I think a multi-shotgun loadout could be interesting.

Idk bout yall but I enjoyed season x. I didnt use the mechs often because I died while in it but I knew how to deflect it. I would build a wall a stair and another while behind that and move backwards until the mech needed to recharge and when that happened I shot at the guy inside. Once it reloaded I would rinse and repeat until I was out of range or the guy died. In season X when they nerfed turbo builds I actually switched to Combat Pro and to this day I continue to play combat pro.

They got rid of stretched resolution so you don't get a larger FOV but meanwhile I'm playing on ultrawide and I'm getting a larger FOV (though it forces 16:9 in competitive playlists).
