Where were Gamble and Huff when Teddy Pendergrass had his accident and was trying to get a record deal?? They should’ve ran to his aid and snatched him up to help him.

He was still signed to TSOP at the time of accident. Not long after that accident they lost their deal w/ CBS. Teddy’s deal was up for renewal around this time and CBS elected not pick him up

Gamble Huff and Bell. The trio that dethroned Motown and set the music world ablaze in the 70s. Their music created the genre Philadelphia Soul. The Black Music Organization was a great creative way to stop others from stealing BLACK MUSIC. That there is why I put Gamble Huff and Bell above Berry Gordy
