I get energized by seeing your positive attitude towards life and glad to see how you feel and care about animals in captivity, they must be set free in their natural habitat.
I was glad that you spoke out against keeping birds in cages and taping shut the mouths of baby crocodiles, and killing butterflies and insects only to display them on walls. And I thought of the time, several years ago, when I saw a caged parrot at a friend's flat in Bombay. She had placed the cage on top of a stool in her balcony. Whenever a bird frew by and the parrot saw it, it fluttered its wings inside the cage. I was so outraged that I asked her to release the parrot and only then to write to me, otherwise do not bother to write to me. She wrote to me three weeks later that she did release the parrot. When a flock of birds landed on top of a mango tree in the park next door, she opened the cage door, she said, and the bird flew away. Putting birds in a cage is a very cruel thing to do. So, thank you for saying that. A very nice video, indeed, like all your videos.
"Why did he hit me! A sad day in Mauritius" it's like some Mauritius guy hit you deliberately, you can also get views by tagging A wonderful day in Mauritius. Anyways I like your videos, cheers!
Ikr, on one hand he is showing how softhearted he is towards animal on other hand he is deceiving us into watching his video till end, double standards
Wow... .No any brand promotion... .No any link in description box. Yes..It's a real explore.. Keep it up man....One day u become big youtuber....Be original...
you may be thinking right, however you want him to not promote anything and on the other hand you want him to become a big guy in every sphere and keep traveling. Real economic world clashing your views.
that's what I feel too. those who believe in freedom movement they should not wear underwear -- sala ! kion band key rakha hai ... it should grow naturally
This is why I like your videos. You have so kind feelings for animals. I'm shocked how they can kill 25000 insects. Keep it up brother. You have good and very humble attitude. This is what makes you different than many other you-tubers.
I don't know why i love your channel so much. I have never been to foreign land and will never be able to go out of India due to financial issues. But I still watch all your videos etc. Your channel gives positive vibes. So never stop making videos bro.
Travellers should realize that they have a moral responsibility too, leave a place better than you found it. I don't really like many travel vloggers but you are a true traveller at heart and one can see that you travel not for just making videos or gaining youtube views, but genuinely for the love of traveling... Something similar you mentioned when you went to black river (swim with dolphins part). This is something that always made me upset about "touristy" places. And it's nice to see there are people like you who have the visibility and reach to convey such a noble message to people.
Dont contradict yourself .. If you visit a zoo, you already know that the animals are caged. If you visit 25,000 insect collection, you should have been known that those were killed to preserve. And most of all, you are promoting those places. Its time to act real.
Hi Varun, I am an American and found your delightful channel recently and have been watching all your excellent videos. I really enjoy them! Was this trip to Mauritius a sponsored trip?
I am proud ❤️ of u,ur massage is very loud and clear ,I hope many ppl will listen to u, Hinduism is all about love ❣️ forgiveness brotherhood compassion towards others ,
Varun Sir, you are not only a vlogger..you are a true influencer...not promoting any product or brand, you are promoting social messages...Huge respect for you Sir..Please add english subtitles, so that people from other country can understand the strong message
@@hasanpatel6641 I get what ur saying but the notion of vegeterianism in hinduism, buddhism, sikhism and jainism arrised from concept of karma. It is believed that if you cause harm to any living being ( all living beings including plants have soul in them) you have -ve contribution to karma. Now Hindus, jains eat plant because most of the time plants are not killed while taking out seeds plucking fruits etc and lot of the time when of the ways plants progress and procreate is by their seeds being spread by the animals eating their fruits. Plants do have weaker nervous systems and most of the time they regrow the parts destroyed. Strict Hindus and Jains also do not eat root vegetables for the exact same reason it kills plants. You cant eat meat without killing the animal it is not possible. Rational behind human beings is to minimize harm. The cow or pig or chicken eats as much vegetable as a humans eats and then a person eats their meat you end up doing double the harm. The concept is to minimize harm and hence effect on your karma.
if no one eats meats plants does not survive for long, cause Many herbivorous Animals survives on plants n plant eater animals population will raise... There should be a proper balance. In Australia, there are more kangaroos then humans and now hunters killing them.
I don't usually comment but today this inspirational Vlog made me do so. This is what Mountain Trekker is, beyond travelling, rich experience & compassionate living. Thanks bro. Keep up the good work :)
You took the words right out of my mouth when you on seeing the dead insects talked about the injustice done to animals in the name of tourism and otherwise. Seeing everyday birds such as sparrows trapped in cages and being sold in streets just breaks my heart.. how cruel can a person be to take away the freedom of a living creature just for few rupees is extreme cruelty... You should hight this aspect more n more in your videos for creating awareness.. i really like your videos...
My heart breaks by seeing all this.. 😢 I wanna do so much for animals.. I have a pet dog at my home.. But I sometimes feel I don't do enough for him. Please treat all animals with pure love and emotions
Loved the way u expressed the pain n suffering of innocent animals n spoke out against animal enslavement n cruelty....❤️ Really appreciate this kind n compassionate gesture...
Thankyou for speaking up for animals ..... I feel exactly like u when someone hurts an animal... I stop these ppl ..... I m proud of u .... 🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Good video sir . Thank you From GUWAHATI ,ASSAM. Sir your behaviour are so beautiful . You are so humble and honest . So thats why you are always stay with smile . Thank you sir . God bless you
I found you through suggested video. First your video are very informative. I made my RU-vid channel so I am definitely doing my research thanks for all your help. Please keep it up! Just Subbed.
preserving museum specimen have many significances.. *it is important for taxonomists for identification and categorization. *some insects are harmful (as pests , vector of diseases) so it is important to study their life cycle and how they affect human life. *researchers study about their geographical distribution and population density of insects .(their eradication incase they are harmful) Although it is ethically not sound for general public , it has great importance for researchers who study about them. Study of insects is known as "Entomology" .. I dont support animal(wild) poaching, animal trafficking and other illegal activities.
I specially like your addresses like MANYAVAR, JANAAB, BHAIJAAN, etc... gives us an idea that you are miles away from communalism and racism.. Keep it up Varunbhai. Excellent presentations.
I was moved to see that you are a human being with a humane heart....that animals and birds too have a right to liberty!!! How many Indians have this outlook???? The record is pathetic....it is so impressive that even at a young age, you have a sane, healthy, humanitarian outlook
@@advocatevarunrathi2831 I am an Indian and i agree with you but in recent years RSS and BJP are ruining the minds of our hindu brothers and Hindus like Varun are decreasing 😔 .
Varun you are a great RU-vidr but today you have shown that you are a good human being too. I am not convinced with all your points that why insects were killed because as a biology student I know how it is important to have a specimen to understand the physiology of any living creature. But I am convinced that a living organisms should not be in cages.
I literally skipped the part of 25000 spicies but after as you expressed your feelings about these practises, it made me feel good. Your whole video comprised of your views against these cruel practises practised by humans. You are a very humble and good man, Varun sir. You make very simple videos and one of the best in your style. There was one suggestion, try to trim the length of videos, thought they are very interesting but keep it to 10-12 minutes. You should also start your travel company, which would be loved by all of your subscribers and will aid you in exploring the world easier. Love and regards.
It’s heartbreaking.. I hv been to zooo in 2013 at chattbir near Chandigarh.. I didn’t feel good when I see the animals n birds in cages ... What’s the purpose.. If you truly love animals or any creation in this universe then let them free .. let them the way they are ... animals n birds chooses souls by themselves like two small kittens do to me in 2011.. I was like mother to them .. they sleep with me eat with me play with me n study with me .. 😊wait for me till I came back from college... .. The bestest gratitude one can give to anyone is the thing someone do for the first time in his or her life n it’s for you... my cat brings me a “rat” .. to eat with her 😂. It was sooo precious moment .. but we both get caught by my mom n our moment get destroyed...🤣🤣🤣
वरुण भाई I was thinking same abt animal which u told Being Ecologist i really appreciate ur gr8 thought hence 1st time i m commenting on anyones video for appreciation!!!
I love what you said about us not needing such spectacles at the demise of other feeling living beings. I dont want to be inflammatory, and I know you are 80% of the way there since you are a vegetarian, and we're all on a journey to better ourselves each day, but have you thought of the moral implications of the dairy and egg industries? Dairy cows have to be impregnated each year (their gestation period is the same as humans at roughly 9 months), and their calves are separated within minutes of birth. The moms grieve, as all mammals do, since maternal attachment is inherent and evolutionary biologically speaking very helpful for the propagation of a species. The male calves are slaughtered since they're not useful or they're sent to become beef. The moms have the same fate once their production weens. At about 5-7 years, they too are slaughtered. Aside from the psychological torture, consider that the contemporary engineered dairy cows have been bread into a fate that makes their bodies exceptional milking machines, however this takes a tremendous tole onto their bodies. There's a reason why these cows are "spent" so early in their lives, when normal cows can go on living for 20-30 years if left undisturbed. India is no different. India is the largest dairy producer in the world, and is the largest exporter of beef and leather regardless of the demands in the domestic market. Please consider if the continued consumption of dairy is at all necessary? Nutritionally speaking it is not. All major nutritional standards acknowledge this fact. Then why continue? Convenience? Taste? Pleasure? Other fleeting momentary gratifications? Your nutella, your milk, your cheese, your ghee, any of this is not any more morally justifiable for the same reason this zoo is not. I do not know whether or not you eat eggs, but their lives and fate are far worse. Male chicks are brutally slaughtered at birth, and the 97% of all egg laying hens live tortuous lives of caged exploitation, bread into an existence and a body that takes every part of their soul away from them. Then they are slaughtered as well and sold as cheap meat. Arguably cows and chickens raised for beef and chicken meat at least get to live, and then get to die, and not have to endure this sort of trauma daily until they're slaughtered. Consumption of beef and chicken meat is arguably more moral than the consumption of dairy and eggs although they are all abhorrent. Please give this a thought. Do your research. Watch some videos, understand this. Dont just take my word. And please continue on your journey of betterment. I (as an ABCDesi) discovered your channel recently with your recent trip across america. Though my hindi is weak (thanks for the subtitles!), I still love your videos and I hope that I get to watch your journey though the world for many years to come. If you read this, thank you for taking you time. Be well.
Thats stupid analogy U cannot justify eating animals and slaughter houses and their daily torture by saying Dairy industry is worst. Its not worst nor its better i They are almost equally demoralised. Even if we keep away morality asides and look at it logically them meat industry does more damage to environment then diary industry. Meat industry creat more then 70% of mathane gas which lead to global warming and destruction of our panet. U get to eat meat of a cow only once but u get to drink milk of 1 cow for at least 6 years. Diary industrys moral problems are controllable and fixable. But Meat industry is uncontrollable neither morally nor logically. So stop your hypocrasy
@Huu I'm actually trying to learn spanish right now and the thing that helps me the most is just to practice. Maybe take a local class or join a club/activity where you can practice without feeling judgement
recently discovered your channel, I'm so incredibly inspired by you, and your constant need to always portray the truth about every place. mad respect.
Hey man, you create well-detailed content but please refrain from adding such description like click baits, even your thumbnails are like that. When you meet a girl even for a second you add them in the thumbnail without their permission, that's is not professional and reflects badly on you.
🌏🇮🇳🙏💓 Dear Varun ji, I have tears while seeing all this. I'm completely against caging any living being.I'm extremely sensitive like you. Ishwar Allah Waheguru God bless you always with goodness. -Sunil Bharat
Outrageous to see the title of this video, Varun is a fantastic vlogger, a very soft spoken, very well spoken and a very professional guy. You are a celebrity and you can get likes and views just like that bcos your show is so good. I'm just bit annoyed by the title that says 'a sad day in Mauritius' ? Were you not confident that you will not achieve your target views?
@@mdjaffar9491 ur thinking is good but nature has made some think to eat which get no effect when we eat them but human being is crossing limit to get immediate action on health or for taste
Sir, you are not only a good travel guider you are also a true nature lover I really appreciate you. And i also think about animals it's really painful 💔🙏🏼🙏🏼
Varun sir Ji , kasm se aap to is tarah se Hume pura world ghuma denge aese. Bahut mast sir ji, I am exploring India firstly Himachal, learnt lots of things from you.. you are inspiration for me. Keep it up varun sir.. I want meet with you
You just spoke what I feel Varun and thank you for that. This is a much bitter truth that keeps on happening in the name of preservation and education however, it's just the opposite and shamefully this is occurring in front of our eyes and we are not able to do the needful. Human species dominate over others on a brutal way and is making this planet a worse place for animal kingdom. Deforestation and devastating natural habitats are common and legal procedures nowadays as termed by the government itself! It terrifies me what future we are about to present to our next generations!
I really like your comment/feedback about those poor animals kept enclosed. They also have lives and they should also have freedom. When you said "hey bhagwan, kya kya khate hai log" , I would say that humans have lost humanity. If left like that they can probably eat humans one day. Moreover I am a vegetarian andi am from Karnataka. Lots of love from here.
