Bro this is a really good review, I've infact test ridden Ninja, 300, 400 and 650, as well as R3. And for the Ninja I did enjoy both the motorcycles, especially Ninja 400. But RS457 being a VFM package makes it a no brainer for me, but I might consider Ninja 400 if there is a huge price drop because I love high revving machines. Also, I don't have a different take about you not using the full RPM. There's a saying in the motorcycle community. "You paid for the whole Tachometer, so use the whole Tachometer" Once again congratulations bro 🎉 🎉

Since you are looking for low and mid range punch, did you test ride the Speed 400? Incredible torque and power low down... Though not exactly an upgrade from a duke 390... But being a single cylinder has its advantages low down...

You bought this bike because this is the only best option in all aspects under 500 cc for a sports bike.....above 650cc power normally doesn't make sense for Indian conditions...

Bro if u don't have any problem regarding ground clearance... Ninja 400 is a masterpiece..you should keep aside usd forks and features...the thrill the rev bend they catch which is soo enjoyable..even ninja 650 and Ninja 500 doesn't have such high rev....you should test ride 400 in highways...

I own a D390 (BS IV) I am fed up with the low rpm engine struggling and jerking "ghet ghet ghet" thing with the D390...Amazing bike on the highway and track but very frustrating in city traffic and low speed low rpm Not at all smooth at low speeds, like simply cruising around on 3rd gear at 25 kmph it starts to jerk I always have to keep the clutch active so that it does not jerk. I hope you can relate to my frustration. I am hoping from your review, that this bike does not do the "ghet ghet ghet ghet" thing under 3k rpm
