I’m not from aviation background. But in my company, it’s discouraged to even take pictures. Mainly because of two things - 1. We deal with sensitive data. So even if some small part of it gets outside by mistake, it could devastate the company. 2. Employees should be focused on work when they are at their workplace. Not on making videos. I think the same goes to any industry tbh. Imagine she did something bad on a flight wearing her uniform on a video and it goes out. That has the potential to ruin the company. So they simply cannot afford that. By all means, I would understand if she was making videos like this one - at home, not wearing her uniform or using any of the logos or names of the company she is working for quite often. But at work? I don’t think that should be encouraged. I’m open to change my mind if you can present valid arguments.
Totally with you on this. They use their job as a background for content creation and then crib when their company asks to stop due to compliance and other reasons.

What you did was absolutely right, it is necessary to take a stand for ourselves. In fact I myself and my friends have been almost through the same situation but the worst part is my ex airline started a new trend where they show a good reputed 5star hotel in the roster for layover/deputation but eventually end up making booking in a property which is below the standard of a 3 star hotel. Now let’s forget the past and stay motivated for future, I completely understand this would have required a lot of courage for you to speak the truth openly and we respect that because people should understand the reality before they join their. Even I resigned from indigo last week and I can relate all those hectic patterns roaster transport issues no international layovers…. But the new crew were getting a lot of international layovers. And no proper salary increament. They never understood if people had medical issues.

Indigo is such an airline which won't pay you well and won't give you promotions or increment but their headache starts when an employee starts vlogging or posting pictures on social media. Indigo can deduct salaries , not giving promotion to employees but they can purchase aircrafts😂😂 Indigo doesn't treat their employees properly at all. They want everything from an employee in terms of grooming, on time performance, on time reporting but they are not punctual when it's time to give their employees proper salary, promotions and increments. Every year they have an issue regarding employee growth. For those who are writing that" vlogging or recording videos are unethical during work period" . Well nowadays we see that maximum corporate employees record video to make vlog to post it on RU-vid as it's social media era.
hey ^^ agreed! also flight attendants are only paid for hours she is actually flying literally when the door of aircraft is closed, also sometimes attendants have airport standbys, i do not get why they (indigo) would be disappointed in these situations in which they aint even paying for your time still forcing their will on it.
@@Baiqkwhsusiwomaoa also considering how they require cc to live nearby airports which is literally so so costly, ik from delhi it costs 25k minimum to rent a 2bhk, in bangalore i heard it’s 20k + for a 1bhk and let’s not even start about emi, because airhostess should not be able to afford a place of her own right? the makeup and grooming aspect too, it literally cost me 2k a month overall 24k in a year to be very upto company’s standard in that matter and am not even including toiletries, like hair and bodycare. just skincare and 10 hour proof makeup. out of what they pay for 70 + flying hours then taxes i am only left with 45k - 40k a month, then am supposed to pay 20k rent? 2k grooming? and after 10-12 hours work if i ever find a drop of energy in my body am not even supposed to do a side hustle? LIKE HOW DARE I TRY MAKE CONTENT ON RU-vid AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE ON A UPCOMING HUGE INDUSTRY OF AVIATION? talk about my guts.
According to me , Taking videos from work is very very unethical. It's like bombarding companies rules and regulations. Though DIDI is Beautiful and have great emotional mind as well.
If it's unethical, they must have some rules regarding this. If they don't have this type of rules and if she is not trying to harm the company's image intentionally, there is nothing unethical in it atleast from my point of view.
In a way making such honest videos boosts the company’s image in a positive light, if not anything else. And also encourages more people to try their passion.

Currently i am working in indigo airline as security officer they don't even provide cab even though they told me they will 7500 from the salary deduction and give me cab girl power only for marketing worst airline

Big mistake joining Cathay. There is alot of discrimination between cabin crew. Indians are treated badly by the Chinese. 2 good friends who worked as cabin crew for them shared sad stories of their time with them.
