Thank y’all for joining us on another thrifting adventure. Today is part 2 to last weeks Thrifting video. Today I’m Decor Thrift shopping at Goodwill not too far from home.
Come along and thrift with us. As usual we are shopping for home decor and anything else we see we could use. And I share a Thrift Haul at the end today.

I know just what you mean about the WOOD is everything in a “bowl, rolling bin, spoon, cutting boars “ something about the wood color and age .....LOVE IT! That will be fun to see the clothing you have gotten. You have shown us some pretty nice items ! Too bad the big mirror was broken! Love those big round mirrors...but oh my...the prices! I have a big collection of hens on a nest. I started collecting them many years ago. My mom told me that I was going to be surprised when she passed away , I didn’t know that she had collected hens on a nest for a long time. When I went through her things, after she passed she had a box full of all different colors ( hens on the nest ) they were all different then mine. Some of them are valuable. That milk glass one was not really a bad price. Love them. ❤️🥰

Hey Julie, girl I'm right there with you when it comes to prices, that glass rooster 🐓 way to much. My son's always tell me "mom stop being so cheap on things when shopping " well that's who I am, why pay high or unreasonable prices for items that were donated. Thank you for sharing your videos, you've given me so many helpful tip on refurbishing & home decor ideas.

Haha. It’s funny you say that I took my neighbor the other Dayton Goodwill because she’s wanting me to help her decorate a guest room and she was putting ALL the things in the buggy. I was like umm no too high, ummm no too high 🤣.

I finally went to a goodwill and flea market today, after not going to any for months. Found a couple salt and pepper shaker sets. Arizona and Hawaii souvenir sets. My girlfriend collects shaker sets so they were a nice find. Also found myself a cool little folk art sculpture. A baseball player made from welded metal pieces. Pretty nice for just three dollars.

I loved the Buffalo check linen you were looking at and also a shiny red vase. Both would have come home with me. In regards to whether or not you're too cheap I would have put the hen in the buggy and if I didn't find anything else I really liked then it would have been worth the price. I do that when I go to book stores; pile in all the ones that appeal to me and then go back and pick out the ones I really want. "Think about it in the buggy!"

Wow, I can't believe how high their prices are. Are you kidding? If they would come down on their prices , they would make more money by selling in volume. They just don't get it.

I always enjoy your thrift store shopping videos. I think that some of the resale shops have increased their prices because they were shut down for so long, they want to make up for it. And some will probably price them at what some buy and resell them for a profit. Just my thoughts. I loved the rolling pin. I have one that I bought for a decorative piece in my kitchen. Red handled ones. I also love your cardigan. I would love to see you do a fall wardrobe modeling show. I hope the top I gave you about the disposable razor worked for you. I love shopping Goodwill also. Does yours have a rewards card? It helps to save some money and it can make a nice difference in what you pay.

The hen was adorable but expensive. Cheap no, thrifty yes. I loved that country kitchen crock you picked up. It'd look great in my kitchen to hold flowers in. I've seen those wall racks that ppl put rolling pin collections in. But they're never around when you want one. Great haul! Love the cardigan sweater!

.....Every item in our church run charity is $ 1.00 .....I donate and buy there ....love it ....help from proceeds goes only to the community citizens ....that way we take care of each other .

You are definitely NOT too cheap! Thrift stores will only get the message that shoppers are fed up with the high prices if we walk away and leave stuff behind. They are not antique stores, and all the stuff came to them for FREE!! They're too greedy! Even if it's a reseller buying the items, who cares? Again it was all freely donated to the store, and the reseller still has to do some work to turn it around and make a profit. Anything the thrift store makes is profit they wouldn't have had if people don't donate. I've quit donating to those big box thrift stores completely.
