I moved to Malta one year ago , I was stuck in my home country. You were one of the reasons I eventually made that decision. I quit all my bad habits , got a real good job here and met a lot of new good people and friends. But most important I got the joy in life back ! Thanks Alex
Alex, the Maltese Tourist Board should choose you as their official representative, as your passion and enthusiasm for Malta and its people really shines through in your videos about Malta - even though I’ve lived here in Manchester U.K. 21 years, I feel the same way about my native Republic of Ireland, yet also the people of Manchester are worthy of huge praise given the history and heritage of this city - it’s no accident that the Bee is the official symbol of Manchester ❤
Absolutely spot on with the video Alex as i have said before the Maltese are the most friendly and helpful people i have had the pleasure to meet and i have been going to Malta since 1986 and look forward to retirement there in a few more years from the UK 👍👌
Very nice video, Alex, and I appreciated the personal stories, which provide you with strong credibility. Like you, when I was initially there, I was in the more touristic St. Julien area, where I actually didn't meet many Maltese although I knew some from work. All the Maltese I met were so friendly and kind at work, but I saw mostly tourists in the neighborhood, even at the grocery store. Then, when I moved to Floriana, I saw and interacted mostly with Maltese and the place I rented was also more traditionally Maltese, and I had to use my limited Maltese sometimes at stores or the bread shop or the vegetable carts. All the Maltese I met in the neighborhoods of Floriana were friendly and kind, too. I can see why you continue to call it home!
Thanks for sharing such an open and honest video of your stay in Malta. I lived in Gozo for four months and loved every moment. Your advice is accurate and very helpful. Keep up the great work ❤
Love the video, Alex. You confirmed a lot of things I had been thinking. I barely met any locals when I visited last year - I want to change that when I go back, especially since the ones I did meet were lovely. Hearing how much you have enjoyed meeting and befriending locals makes me look even more forward to doing that.
Climate in Malta is beautiful especially if like me you live in the uk lol 😆 visited in November 2023 with my fiance had a beautiful time people were so friendly we both have decided to visit Malta again soon 😊
Alex, you are fabulous! I am moving to Malta in March. Your videos have been super helpful. I really appreciate all of the good information given by your adorable self! Wishing you a wonderful time in Thailand!
"ALEX IN MALTA" CLOSE AND PERSONAL 😇😊. A very intimate video Alex - full of excellent points for those thinking / planning to move to Malta both to live & work. We now know that on 12 April 2015 , Malta gained & adopted a Macedonian loyal son 🇲🇰🇲🇹🤗 Thanks Alex 🎤 🎥 👏. Cheers 👍🇲🇹❤️🇪🇺™️
Really informative for me too, to see other people's perspective of Malta, being Maltese myself, keep up the great content :) The reflection at 11:00 in the black shiny pole behind had me laughing though hahaha unexpected comedy :P

lovely, thanks for sharing, lovely vlog. Visited Malta in 2019 with my family in UK, loved it, so plan to visit again next week, luckily my cousin works there, bonding with a filipina cousin and revisiting Malta, I can't wait to explore Malta again. :-)
Hi, thank you for your video. I'm going to move to Malta around April this year. And I saw the price of renting room is quite expensive also there are many fake accounts on the website. So would you mind that tell us about for renting room there. Thank you hope you have a great day there!
Hi Alex, I'm a chinese man.By chance i found your channel and by chance i found a nice guy to show all his Malta life to me. I will perhaps go to Malta in years, for my daughter's education(a cute girl in her 9-year-old). wish to meet you then. i found so much interesting things in your videos, not only advantages but also disadvantages about the mini country, that's realistic and fantastic.Thank you again for all your works. and are you still there? if possible, may i have ways to contact you online, and how? i just want to get more information before my arrival, if not, thanks all the same, and go on to support you.best wishes
Hi Alex, thanks for sharing your personal staff about your life so far, hope you are having a great time in Thailand, As for Malta it does'nt effect me at my age since I was from there and now I'm well and truly fixed where I am, but I do visit Malta often enough, will be there again this summer, anyway it still good to learn more about things and it certainly very helpful to younger people that thinking of moving there, The tourist board must really loves you, or they should do, bye from cold UK, 🤔👍.
I had a nice experience but for living is very hard mostly 10-12 hours shift, low salary, high rent i struggled a lot I preffer normal 8 hours shift and earning enough to enjoy lifeBut I am coming there again as a tourist and to visit the friends that I met....❤❤
Thanks for your delightful videos … one main question is that without any main skill what kind of works can be found and is the wage enough for living cost or even saving … of course for a normal living ? Thanks a million for your time and kind response. 🙏🥰🌺
Thank you for sharing this, great video! One question though: Well enough that Malta is great for someone with no family someone who can always go out and feel like on holidays, meeting new people. Are you familiar with how it is for young families by any chance? Thanks
Hi Alex! Considering moving to Malta and saw an apartment in Xlendi and the area looks beautiful. Do you already have a video of this area or consider doing one in that area?
Thanks Alex, was in Malta January 2023. Loved it but saw the other side perhaps a bit uncomfortable with foreigners especially black! So what's the main reason most foreigners have decided to leave 😅
Nice video again, as always, Alex! I love the personal videos, it's good to hear your story. BTW do you still work at the same field in Malta where you started, or it already changed thru the years?
Thanks for another cool vid Alex. Question: What do u do for income? What are some jobs there for english speaking foreigners wanting to move there? ty
Hello Alex! Great work you are doing. Please i would like to know if it's possible to come into Malta with a visit visa having the intention to study but Malta don't have embassy or body that process long stay Visa in applicant country. Thank you
2:18 I mean Maldives is supposed to be like the tourist place where they can find the beautiful place beaches and palm trees not like just living there in Maldives and there are rarely living in these beautiful beach’s (except for the capital city of Maldives which sits down on a little island but it’s already spaced out meaning it’s full there is no to much to build in a densely island) and yeah it’s pretty better to visit Maldives instead of living there because it’s rare
Hello Alex I was trying to purchase your guidebook but it's not allowed 😢idk why I'm in the United States, planning to go there in September. Please when you have time reply me
Alx I love your vidios and I am motivated for applying for job in malta ..but, still I didn't get job offer letter and real agency NB I studied MBA and PhD in management studies in india an currently I am working ethiopia..I have 10 years expriance as the driver, researcher, leader, team Coordinator...and so on I need any related job in malta.
Alex, here's my question for you about being driven in your choice of destination by climate: I've watched your videos for a long time now and it never escapes me that as much as you say you like the climate in Malta, for much of the summer you complain (with good reason!) about the oppressive heat and then in the winter you'll remark about the chill (I'm not criticizing, just observing). If climate was that important to you in making your decision, I'm just wondering why you didn't choose a place like Madiera, where the climate is more consistent year 'round.
Hi Alex. Where can I find good information about schooling in Malta? Ideally looking for government school with English freely spoken. If we moved I would be a digital nomad. Would my kids qualify for free schooling? Also any good international schools you can recommend? I am a UK expat living long term in Thailand would be moving with wife who is Thai and 2 children with UK passports . Any help much appreciated!
Hi Alex. My name's Tim. Can you please help me understand if I come to Malta with my wife at the same time where I will come by a long-term employment visa and my wife will come by a long-term student visa - will we be able to apply for the family reunification in half a year period both residing in Malta or my wife will have to leave the island before we apply for the reunification?
What do you do as work? Do you have residency or a visa? Was your application to stay in Malta easy? I would be interested in starting my business in Malta from uk. Thanks x.
Do you have any information about the Maltese medical system, for example working as a doctor or nurse? Is it privat or public? Thanks a lot and greetings!
I want to move to malta, but first i need to find a job in healthcare as senior carer or in hospital, pls if anyone there can give me an idea how to find a job in this field, i would really much appreciated..i am a maltese citizen but i have been living in uk for the past 20 years.
Hi Alex I like your videos about Malta. I would like to ask is there kitesurfing spot beach for kitesurfing? Is it windy all year or just few months in year? How much money I have to spend as investing to property to get residentcy? Thank you for your answers.

Hei Alex! We are a EU family with 2 kids 3y and 6y,and we plan to move to Malta. We have some questions. Please answer if you have the information. What are the best primary schools? Are any state primary school who teach in english ? Thanks!
Do you want to become Maltese citizen? What do you think of them saying you can apply after 6 years but in reality they will ignore your application after 15+ years of living in Malta?

Hi Alex! If you stay in the country do you need a car or are there busses to get around. We would like to stay for 3 or 4 months out of the year and I think staying in Valletta would be to expensive . We don't want to get a car. What is your opinion.
@@anniesteele I'm asking if you can get around with the busses if you live in the country. It would be cheaper to stay in the country than a bigger city but what about busses getting around. So your answer does not answer my question.
It's nice that you live in Malta but please stop encouraging more foreigners to settle in Malta as it is full to it's brim and will only be making the Maltese people struggle to live their normal life, as you say you chose to live in a quite area so understand the Maltese around city areas need more room to themselves.
Well for me Malta seems very chaotic. Overpopulated, too many cars, empty buildings.. No good beaches and expensive rent. Local seems to be very lazy, I saw only working indians and foreigners in general. everywhere. I can't live there its's not a quality life for me.
I am not understanding nothing Alex.Exeppt whot you spend in Macedonia (doing nothing)Betwin Yor Live in Dubai and Malta period ! What kind of Job you did before and doing in Malta..?Or it big shame to say whot you did and doing..?😊 Your story about "Nothing"…..😂😢
Anyone who is NOT already a citizen of an EU country CAN NOT JUST MOVE TO MALTA !! There is more to moving to Malta than just the weather. The paperwork for Non EU, such as British Macedonians will drive you mad. You need a job before you come to Malta, a work permit. If you're here legally, show your Residence Card. Your video is a load of rubbish and not realistic .. that's why you no longer live in Malta !!!
