Why did I only drive for Spark Delivery?

On some days, Spark delivery can be outright amazing, The best app ever! Others, trying to do one single delivery is like getting your teeth pulled without any pain killers. It's always a gamble for me to head up to Anderson and Redding just to run Spark delivery but at least it's not too far away.

Still on the Waitlist for Spark in the greater I.E. area but nothing. Finally got the greenlight for Flex last Thursday and also starting UPS pvd seasonal on the 31st. $21 hr + .63 for mile traveled got my interest. Probably do a 4-5 Flex block in the morning a few days out the week and then go do UPS orders M-F. Gonna see if it's worth it.

For the Holidays definitely hit Flex and UPS hard. I'm pretty sure you're going to make a butt ton of money. Fingers crossed by time the new year rolls around, you'll be accepted onto Spark.

If you do 8 delivery of $20+ order you can make that easy in a day .cherry pick helps .lol I do it like doordash only taking good order ...

I wonder how you are able to maximize profits and not be discouraged by high california gas prices? Are the delivery offers higher than normal compared to other cities because of the higher prices? Does spark offer more incentives because of the high gas prices? I also driver for spark in texas and average about 18 dollars for a 2 batch order going on average 11 miles, of course these are just averages but gas here is about 3.15 a gallon, compared to like 6 in california, i dont know how you guys do it over there. please let me know if you have tips or such. thanks.

Right now gas at my favorite gas station is $4.99, plus I get 14 cents off through their app AND an extra 3% with the Amazon flex card. Not much savings much anything is better than nothing. But when gas was topping out at $6, it was rough. Id have to put in extra work if I’m out of town or I’d have to stay in my home town and really grind it out. Home town has a lot of offers that you’re dealing with. Between $9 and $20 on average (at least from my experience). But the upside is that I save gas since my town is only a few miles across, lol. If I work Flex in Chico, I HAVE to pick up a second schedule block or else I’ll hardly make anything. If I work Spark in Redding I can usually make $150 very easily as long as I have some patience. I rarely see orders below $18 and are usually in the mid to high $20’s. If gas was $3.15 here, I’d make money hand over fist. Depending on your area, I’d suggest running Uber/Doordash/GH in between spark deliveries unless you’re able to snatch one each hour. Spark can be incredibly weird. Either you dedicate your day to spark or you do one or two orders and hit other apps hard.

Yea, I ended up doing 4 orders and being offered 5. I've never had any luck with Spark in chico until yesterday. It was insane. I was even recording! lol
