There's power, and then there's POWER! Check out @458destroyer's insane new garage with all the latest additions to the collection; hypercars, JDM, projects and more. Then it's time for an experience with ludicrous horsepower, my first drive of a car with over 2,000hp...
During the Where's Shmee USA tour at the start of 2021 in my Shelby GT500, I stopped to visit 458 Destroyer and experienced an epic drive in the LaFerrari, before also driving the LFA and DDE's former Huracan Tire Slayer. However, since then the collection has grown in a big way! From the Ferraris including an F40, 488 Challenge, 599 GTO and 812 GTS, to the huge power projects including a 2,600hp R35 GT-R from Cicio Performance, a 2,300hp Performante and 1,800hp STO from Sheepey Race, as well as a 2,500hp Viper from Nth Moto.
The JDM side of the collection is truly spectacular, now featuring every derivative of R34 GT-R (Z Tune, R Tune, S Tune, M Tune, V Spec II, Nur Spec and more), plus the new Acura NSX Type S, R35 T-Spec and so much more. Standing out also are two cars previously owned by the late Paul Walker; his R32 track car, and Motorex R34.
After a walkaround tour, it's time to pick a car for a run... and it's the Nth Moto Viper with 2,500hp! First up, a ride to get an understanding for it because this is no ordinary car, before giving it a go myself. It transpires that a car built purely for the drag strip like this brings a whole new technical challenge and is just unbelievably extreme. It's hard to put it into words, but requires some serious experience to get your head around it.
