I totally get you sweetie pie, I used to work for them for 6 years and I couldn’t take it anymore...I reached the point where it didn’t even matter if I was in Australia or New York, all I wanted was to sleep!!! I met my husband on a flight and that was it👻 good luck with everything and all the best🤗🐰
I miss you so much! I am so happy and blessed to have known you from day 1 in the company! (Haha, I am this friend who has been flying for the past 10 years!). I can’t wait to see you at your wedding! Much love❤️
Wow you express yourself so beautifully and you have a solid head on your shoulders!! You know what you want!! I wish you the very best in your life. I want you to know that what you had, millions of pretty girls and boys around the globe want desperately. It is a job millions yearn for and cant have and yet you had it in the palm of your hands!!
Thank you for your kind comment 😊 I am aware that its highly desired job however many people do not realize what it actually takes to be doing the job. Its one of the most misunderstood proffesion, everyone thinks thay can do it but in fact not everyone is really capable of that. Ps. I wish the very best for you as well and I appreciate such a meaningful comments like yours 😘
@@AlicjaGriffiths your statement is 100% correct, young FA are naive they have no idea what real tiredness is and really feels like, until they experience it, then they know! they want the job bcos they don’t know how bad fatigue is and what it does to our body/brain function, flying also ages us faster! Im happy for you, I know you’ll have a wonderful Marriage and I wish u both an exciting future together. I know family is your priority, but try to remain financially independent and don’t quit working altogether, you are too intelligent! 😘
I’ve been following you for quite a while and I never click this fast to see if you’re resigning for real 😭😂😂 But I truly wish you the best for your future endeavours! ♥️
Im 53 now and there truly is not much quality to life after all these years. Ive worked my way up and am fortunate to make good money... I have 2 nice places. You wake up and you entire life is being a FA.. Dont get me wrong - It is who I am... and I will do it till I cant do it any more. Ive seen the industry change so much and as a FA Manager it disturbs me how FA's are treated and the pressure our managers put on us to be mean.. I am really a nice man and am stepping down so I can just be a simple crew member. At the risk of sounding negative, for those who plan on staying in this career for life. Be prepared to be lonely and get used to being alone much of the time... On lay overs you just want to hide in your hotel And It does hurt when you work with a young crew and they dint include you on lay overs. Over all I luv what I do.. I should not complain - just venting...
I have completed 12 years in cruise ship so far without medical off. No health issues. No financial issues. Another 23 years waiting ahead. Yes salary is little low. But great life forever.
I understand you i worked for middle eastern country airline for 10 years and i was the best cabin crew for 5 years i started to get sick every week due to lack of sleep and the dirty closed airplanes and some unhygenic customers i had to say good bye and i am so fit now money can be earned if you are smart and talented and if you have money you can travel any where
Thanks for sharing your experience with me, just like same as well as your life experiences I am also on that way, just I improve myself what to do in future I have avoided many many things in my life that were disturbing me. and I can see the results of my decision at the right time and at the right point. Thank you so much for your kind comments for me.
Alicja I am so so happy for you and respect everything you said.. ♡ Resonated with me 100% .. Sending you love for your wedding next month. Respect xx ☆☆☆☆☆
Great paying job? Not here in America. After 33 years im always broke and emotionally drained. I lost my smile years ago. No white teeth showing any more.
Yeah I also heard that in America the cabin crew pay is not that great, same in Europe. Respect for lasting that long in that job, most people do not realize how hard and strenious it is. After that many years you have lots of experience that you could probably also use elsewhere, Maybe thats worth consideration. I wish you all the best 😘
Brett: It all depends on what airline you work for. if you work for a mainline major airline in America with that much experience you should be making lots of money! How ever regional airlines and ultra discount airlines don't pay very well.
@@genten777 I actually work for American and I am doing ok. I just see some senior FA,s with other airlines who have been flying for years and living on food stamps in dangerous city's because they live at there base. This is awful
@@brettpatetto6847 : You should watch the youtube videos of Stella and Sarah Hoosh they both work for AA and they certainly make it appear as it is a fun fun fun job!! I hope that nobody working for a mainline airline would need to live off of food stamps …..that is sad!! As for living arrangements most people in the service industry ( airlines as well) cannot afford to buy a home in a good area of any U.S. city any more ( where crew bases are located) actually they cant even afford to rent in a good area with a view. That just is the brutal reality of life in the U.S. now. If you want to live the "American Dream" you pretty much need skills in specific wanted fields in order to get paid well.
Hello Miss alicja, do u mind to do a vlog bout how much u can save up to be cabin in Etihad? And the way of saving money while working w atihad~~~ much appreciate~ hope u see my comments!!! ❤️ from Malaysia!!!
I wii miss your flight attendant vlogs ❤️ But thanks for this video and all the best for your future wanderings! By the way, in which 5 countries did you live in and what did you do there? Maybe you could tell a bit about it?)
wanjiru chelagat Thank you for your kind words 😘was planning that since I got engaged, its time to move on to the next chapter of my life, I was never afraid of changes.
Totally agree with you. I have just quit my job in one asian airline. For who wants to join this job they should prepare to face the reality that this job brings. And the colleagues, the company culture, health issues will be the big problems also.
Hi Alicja, Congratulations on your tenure at EY - What level did you reach ? Business/First class - All the best with future plans...Can’t wait to see wedding pictures 😍😍
Noone has to work while being sick, that is a work for a national carrier not a slavery 😊actually we have aviation doctors in a special airlines dedicated clinic and crew health is a serious matter that can not be put at risk.
Yes lady I agreed you!!! (But Lady is mostly second earning compare to gentlemen’s. ) it’s a tuff to become a perfect good job in life whereas supposed stoping job at mid of life then what do think of the remaining portion!!! Yeah u r Lady but if question arise by Gentlemen 🤓🤓!!!
Im not trying to be mean and start shit but nobody quits "an amazing job" the way u put it....ur getting married thats really why ur quitting🤔 nothing wrong with that i guess but just be honest. U took the job to meet a man to take care of u..
Lets face it, You starting writing the comment with justifing it already means you know there is something wrong with it...I was honest that my marriage was one of the reasons of me quiting my job. I didnt need a Man to take care of me cause I had a very well established life long before I met my husband. Probably thats why I am married now and girls with a mentality of looking for a Man who will take care of them are still .... looking. I encourage you to watch my relationship series videos to get to know my approach before you judge
I live in london. The tip is to not ever live in CENTRAL london. Stay out of it bruh. I live in such a nice place and only realised how good and safe it was after I had to go to uni full of all this dangerous shit 💀
