Your quality/work ethic/vision is inspiring. You aren't cutting corners and that is impressive. I really think you're going to go far. Thank you for the video.
My company is here in sunny south fla our wrights do a good job and are extreamly reliable we have been in buisness for over 32 years i used to be picky in the quality of the cut and ive learned over the years that as long as you're mower does a good job don't sweat those things cuz dude your mower can have the best quality cut ever and if someone comes along a charges your costurmer $5 less dude they will fire you no matter how well your mower cuts beleave me i see it all the time and the only one that sees the difrence in quality of cut is you not the costurmer.
Victor Rippe some good points but where I am at the clients see how well your work is and tell you that and so do there neighbors. That is how I get a lot of new people is by word of mouth which reflects the quality of work which ties into how your mower cuts the turf. He have much different grass types up here also
Gotta pitch the Wright decks a 1/4 inch forward it makes a big difference Surprised there’s not a lot in Wichita , they are absolutely everywhere in the Kansas City metro. Tons of brands around here but I think hands down more Wrights than anything else. Whatever works best for you though is all that matters !
The safety things are ridiculous on my vride. Had it over a year and they still get me sometimes. Walker was the first mower I ever drove when I was 12 👊
Walker : slower/ individual deck pins/ smaller decks for price. Nothing comes close to minimum maintenance per acre mowed (Wright) as far as in east cent fl... Puducah Kentucky maybe better. Fl has TALL STRAGGLY (bahaia) (non) double cut mowings
Most gates here are 35 inch gates and they suck. Our wright 32 inch hydro barley fits through them. All the lawns we do are very small and a walker is just to big. I’m not saying that a walker is a bad mower but just over kill for the size lawns we do.
John, one of the things I like about Wright Manufacturing is how open they are to customers suggestions. I recommended to Ed Wright on one of his videos that the 32" fixed deck standon should be replaced with a floating deck, he agreed. Many people commented and agreed with me, how they were tired of breaking out tools to raise and lower the deck.
bro try the gator blades they are mulching blades but theey are dimand shaped tips on the back of the blade and they are thicker n hold the edge better thats all i run in my biss. try em !!! i run a grass hopper and a bad boy
my family been cutting lawns for over 50 years in new jersey cutting lawns just pays the bills it’s a living not a money maker money is made in the side things like paver decks wood decks large commercial jobs sprinkler cement work excavating over the years the lawn biz is so cut throat cutting lawns just puts more people to work and make more payments their always someone that undercuts you on a lawn cut. Move up to the big stuff excavating. Trucking. Pavers deck building. Or get a tree spade move trees. Or trim trees buy a bucket truck and chipper. something the little guy can’t do will give you the edge a mower is a mower they all cut grass buying another mower is stupid to think you’ll get a better lawn to mow because you have a better mower the lawn biz is about the person people hire mostly because of the person they deal with second is price being reliable and honest will go a long way not the mower just some input from a real life expr
Your wrong I have compared 11 different mowers and the Ventrac 4500 with mower attachment is BY FAR THE BEST !! It's not even close !!! NO ZTR or Stander can hold a hill like this tractor especially the Ventrac 4500 with the dual wheels!! Yes it's $20,000+ but it's worth it because it does more than 1 thing.
Cyberslug1 well i dont that many people who would or could drop that much money on a mower. You could buy 2 or 3 standers for the price of that. I dont ever compare ventrac because only small few have them.
I still like the Grasshopper Front mount mowers over the Walker. I really hate the 3rd wheel when striping and the gearbox on the Walker. There is also more attachments available on the Grasshopper Front mount. Demo one, You will not regret it.
Think you gave up a little too quickly on the ZK. They absolutely have to be set up correctly Havs ro have the pitch set correctly and def have the right blades. Around here you see ferris, wright stander and dixie. I own exmark and wright standers. Its possible if u purchased it used the po had the settings jackes. I feel the same way about scag as u feel about the. Zk. Ths cut quality just isnt great up here with the scag. I want to like scag and really like the dealer here.
Down side about the walker do they fit through a 35 inch wide gate? Thats a NO ! Thats why we use 34 and 32 inch cut mowers. Would we buy another wright no because no customer support at all. So we will be going back to gravely.
