Why did Palpatine Never Send Vader after YODA?  

Maybe less of the OTT effects? The sparkles, the bubbles, the water effects - you'll find most Star Wars fans are attentive and don't need ADHD-friendly nuances to hold their attention. Otherwise, the artwork is very good.

@@F3ekku749 he has the skill. In his prime, Vader was a better duelist than Palps, and can increase his speed (just like Yoda) to match Yoda's strikes and speeds. Not just that, but Vader's powerful strikes are effective against smaller and faster opponents such as Yoda.

Doesn't matter when. Vader has the skill but not the agility he needs. Yoga is so small and fast he would be unbeatable to a machine that turns like a bus

@@CKzoidYT Vader uses an Amalgamation of all lightsaber forms, and this makes him proficient against all lightsaber forms. Plus, like I previously said, Vader increases his speed when dueling just like Yoda, Sidious, and a multitude of other force users.

In speed he's literally roughly around the same speed and it's stated to in a source book that Vader beats Yoda (backed up even more by other sources including GL saying Vader is on par with Palpatine)

You can see Vader increase his speed in Jedi Fallen order in order to catch up to Cal. Btw, that's canon. Vader is actually stronger in canon than in Legends, btw.

Plus, force speed isn't a "legends" ability, so anyone can use it, including Vader. Plus, the Novelizations, of which GL wrote himself, describe Vader as a "blur" when fighting. Now, that wouldn't be the case if he wasn't increasing his speed with the force. I don't get why it's so unbelievable for Vader to use force speed. Yoda, who is less powerful in the force and is way weaker overall, can use it to be proficient when dueling. Sidious, who is old and not agile as well, uses force speed when dueling as well. Mace windu and Palps we're using it when they were dueling! But, I guess Vader just has a special weakness that only affects him and not other Jedi that doesn't allow him to use force speed (just ignore the evidence that he does).

Well, Anakin Skywalker lacked obvious logical thinking skills even before turning to the dark side when Palpatine revealed himself as the Sith Lord. Any child would have realized the whole scam that was the Clone Wars. And Anakin should have known that the only threat to his beloved Padmé was Sidious himself.

You'd think you'd consult your significant other about abandoning all of your supposedly shared ideals to try to do something for them before betraying everyone, but I guess not. I guess it's not entirely his fault; he is a child soldier and I'm not entirely sure if his Jedi teachers explained to him WHY he should do things as opposed to just telling him the things he needed to do. There are a couple specific scenes or lines in media like TCW show where you can really tell that he kind if just sounds like a programmed robot/idealist. We're all "programmed" in some way but I honestly never got the sense that Anakin did a whole lot of reflection or pondering over his beliefs.

This actually makes a lot more sense than the video. Sidious didn’t really care if Vader lived or died. His death would’ve just meant Vader was weak and not worthy to be his apprentice. Plus there was the fact that Anakin was always the chosen one. He wasn’t going to die until he killed Sidious. Period.

Luke was intended to join the dark side. Nobody joined the jedi at that age and remained good, he would've been the ultimate sith Still time for a dark arc for him...

Yep, he went into exile. He even said that he was. After so many years he probably forgot or figured he had died as he was almost 900 years old.

I still find this a lame ass excuse. Wouldn’t Sidious think ‘hmmm, that planet that is a dark side nexus, its alot less dark-sidey ever since Order 66. I wonder if there are some powerful light side force users balancing out the dark side energy there’. And if Sidious couldnt detect the change then Yoda didnt need that thing to hide anyway. I prefer the idea that Sidious isnt a god that can detect force users across the galaxy but instead that Yoda just went somewhere that is incredibly isolated and would only be noticed if someone bothered to turn up, which they hadnt.

Being on that planet would also give Yoda tremendous access to darkside force power which he's confirmed to have knowledge of. There's no WAY they could've beaten him there and for their balance purposes they needed that planet. Smart to just let him rot there

Their rules and effects on the galaxy are not lame excuses they are written rules that are being applied to characters even on a smale scale like this scenario... that's epic not dumb. 2nd there is alot of material that shows sidious as able to sense and view most of the galactic empire's territory and beyond it within certain areas. For example a more recent showing of this from cannon comes from the new thrawn novels [thrawn alliances] Palpatine was able to sense small chiss force sensitive children on the edge of the known galaxy just into the unknown regions which on a galactic scale is closer to the boarder of known space and into the core worlds. This is a feat of awareness that Palpatine has over his corner of the galaxy. If u dip into legends there's even more evidence to prove this. 3rdly both legends and cannon Palpatine doesn't care enough about hunting the jedi down. Yess it's dumb but legends Palpatine explains to vader the jedi are taking their turn in the shadows. By going to ground they are doing what the rule of 2 sith did. Palpatine stated that the jedi must do their time in the shadows and repent, they must suffer as the sith did and suffer the life of the outcasted. That sidious enjoyed the thought that there were jedi ants roaming and despairing over their defeat this is one of the great successes of the sith grand plan to dominate and put the jedi in their rightful place. Now cannon sidious just tells vader that the jedi are no more. Their order is fractured and there's nothing they could possibly do in his mind that would stop the empire... this sidious is overwhelming with arrogance and discounts the threat of the remaining jedi and chooses to let vader hunt them but care's nothing for spending any effort to find them.... soo therefore sidious would never had logically thought about nexus's or how they could be hiding certain people as he simply was too arrogant to care in both scenarios

Yoda on a darkside nexus doesn't give him special powers. He would never embrace the dark side soo he's firmly cut off from using the energy of the planet he's a light in the dark using only the strength of his own will and spirit. If sidious or vader were to have confronted Yoda they would have had a major advantage as they would have no qualms drawing upon the natural darkside energy of the planet. This would bolster vader or sidious to a large degree. Depending on how legends fits in cannon the Yoda here is terribly weak... not weak per say he's still Yoda but he's old - tired of fighting - and in legends before Luke shows up like a few months before a dark jedi and Yoda fought on dagobah for many straight days they have a cosmic lvl force duel not a lightsaber duel a force duel and this is a powerful darkjedi from before the clone wars that was using the nexus boost to fight Yoda... this battle nearly crippled Yoda and left him drained mentally, physically and spiritually. Soo yeah not looking good for Yoda if he's caught on that swamp ball... not sure what u mean about balance though dagobah was a backwater no one cared about or thought of

With all those years as a Jedi, it could make a full blown series. The adventures of YODA and his padawan. Each week we could see Yoda age a little, but with a new padawan each time.

Hiding isn't plot armour, maybe plot convenience but there are a few explanations as to why yoda was never caught. Firstly Dagobah was a darkside planet and he lived right next to a darkside cave, so it cloaked yodas immense force presence, secondly we see in esb that its hard to land on dagobah, so not many, if any, people would go there and find him

Better questions, why didnt yoda raised luke so he can kill the emperor? Anakin was trained in the of 9 and was of of the best duelist the jedi ever had at the age of 22 if yoda raised luke along with obi wan he would be unstoppable

I think the reason is that luke could be end up like his father another vader.... And simply yoda scared that possibility.

This is what helped him win against Obi Wan on the Death star, and against a ton of Jedi he killed who knew who he was. Vader actually beat Yoda in an infinity's comic, and although it's not canon, the power levels were equal and not changed to give one character plot armor. This meant that Vader won fair and square while taking account each character's strengths and weaknesses
