Why don’t Kenyan artists make it outside of Kenya? If you go to clubs in New York & London, you’ll hear Nigerian music everywhere but no Kenyan music. Even this tour sauti sol is doing in the US, they’re just performing at small halls where the audience will be 99.9% Kenyans living in the US. It’s not like burna boy at Madison square garden & recently at Coachella. Nigerians are on a different level.
Unfortunately there’s always a expiration date with groups . You get more bookings as a solo artist esp internationally. Sauti sol are forever legendary.
