Why Did SQUISHY LEAVE NRG and What's Next? 

I feel like emotions have some degree of importance to logical decisions. If squishy was truly unhappy with his spot then I would argue that it is logical for him to leave nrg.

I think squishy just realised something had to change based on the circumstances of his recent performances with the team as a whole and if he really thinks that he can get back to the top then lets see it.

I think its about more than the money at this point. These guys wanna win. Can’t fault Squishy for moving on as it clearly wasn’t working on NRG anymore. Maybe he brings back C9, maybe he joins another org. Maybe Garrett and Jstn stay together, maybe they dont. We’ll just have to wait and see. One thing I do see happening, is Sypical leaving faze and I think Atomic is going to replace him. I think it’ll be the old team Envy reunited with FK in place of turbo. And from there maybe Syp joins Garett and Jstn. Who knows. Where does that leave G2? Maybe Aqua. Maybe Garrett leaves NRG to replace Comm on V1. Maybe Squishy ends up replacing Comm, so many scenarios, we’ll just have to wait and see.

I don’t know Squishy or NRG very well but when you stated that he made a bad decision leaving and then started talking about salary I was a bit bothered. You may be interested in making profit, Squishy, has given plenty of time for his team to make a turnaround this last year and it hasn’t really happened. Albeit they showed some more fight this last regional, it still wasn’t enough to cut it. Emotions or not, him leaving because he wants to pave the road to the top again is probably the best thing he could’ve done for himself. You also mentioned, there may have been some team dysfunction, which, if true, only furthers this point. He’s got a winning mentality and hit a roadblock with NRGs recent performances, a new org, new team, something to motivate himself for again, could see him push back to worlds this next year.
