You are right, there is much hidden from the general public, but not just by the Vatican but by all those in power. We are told half-truths with a spin on everything. The media also tells us half-truths depending on who is in charge of any particular media outlet. And the public lap it up and run with it. As long as we are grumbling to each other all the people in power are happy. If we were to stand up and be counted and stand against them they would have to change their tune.

But you missed the really important issue, which is the many ways that the Church has suppressed and destroyed hundreds or thousands of less well-known texts through the centuries. You also failed to mention that there are many rare books in the archives that are not available to historians and biblical archaeologists.

Nearly all references to reincarnation were removed from the Bible, despite the belief being commonplace in Jesus' time. I've heard it said the Church did not want its followers to believe they had more than one chance to live and follow their laws because that makes it much harder to control people. Instead it became One Life, then Heaven or Hell. Period. They missed a few references to reincarnation that are still in the modern Bible, for all to see if they know where to look.

My Ethiopian orthodox church .....Have 81 books as Holly bible. Glory to God (including enoch , wisdom of solomon etc ) . I dont know why they did not accept this books . But Generally catholics are atleast better than the Protestants who have 66 books while catholics have 72 books.
How about zero books and just be a good person it really is as simple as that. People just intentionally make it difficult for others and themselves and that's doesn't change whether you have 1 book or a 100. Religion and belief has never made a single person a good one, that my friend comes down to personal choice and the actions you choose to employ throughout life.
There must be “someone” alive today (such as a Cardinal or Bishop who has had access to the Vatican Archives. That person must have seen something of great interest and was possibly sworn to secrecy. Wouldn’t it be nice, if that person would come forth (even under secrecy) and divulge what they know? Perhaps a whistle blower. Up till now, we only have here say. You didn't mention the objectionable actions of some Catholic authorities in delaying the publication of the Dead Sea scrolls and limiting access to them by scholars - for decades after their discovery.
Actually the protestants were the ones that removed books from the bible. The catholic bible has 7 books that the rest dont have: Tobit, Judithl, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, 1st Maccabees, and 2nd Maccabees

This guy said that the Catholic Church removed the Wisdom of Solomon from the Bible, but last time I checked, which is literally a few seconds ago, they still have the Wisdom of Solomon in their bibles. And I thought it was the Protestant Churches that removed 14 books in the 1800s, not the Catholic Church in the 1600s. The Catholic Church still has the Deuterocanonical books in their bibles. 7 of them to be exact. But the Orthodox Churches have even more books in their bibles, especially the Eritrean and Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Churches.
Snickers the Protestants didn’t completely reject the Apocrypha until the 1800’s because the 1611 King James Bible had the Apocrypha in it. And that Bible was used by Protestants, not Catholics. The Geneva Bibles also had the Apocrypha in them too and those bibles were created in the 1500s. Protestants kept the Apocrypha in the middle between the Old Testament and New Testament until the 1800s when they decided to reject the Apocrypha completely because they did not believe that those books were inspired scripture. Martin Luther, the guy who started the Protestant Reformation, he also wanted to remove the Book of James from the Bible because it says that “faith without works is dead.” And he didn’t believe that we had to do works, he only believed that we needed faith in Jesus Christ. And the Catholic Church reconfirmed the Apocrypha in the 1500’s during the Council of Trent.

Faith without works is DEAD, the Book of James says what it says. Yes, our righteousness are like filthy rags, but AFTER you are saved by Grace, you are SUPPOSED to do GOOD WORKS to HELP OTHERS. Matthew 25:35-46 in these scriptures here, Jesus talks about the GOOD WORKS that we are SUPPOSED to do while on the earth. Jesus’s name was not changed to Yehoshua(correct spelling) in-fact the letter “J” didn’t exist in the Aramaic-Hebrew Alphabet (“in Jesus’s time) His actual name was Yeshua also pronounced Yoshua/ Yehoshua, which translates to “Son of Yoshef(joseph). The Greeks changed the name to “Jesus” because the couldn’t pronounce “Yeshua” in the proper Aramaic sound/accent( which makes no sense being that “Y” was sounded as Today’s “J” is. The chosen Biblical canon was deeply discussed over 100s of years, books were chosen based on well known tradition, historicity, authenticity, and coherency with the other Biblical writings, separated between those considered to be legit and those which were borderline bogus, and over time the current books were chosen. Although other books are in other canons, the chosen books are most-likely the most trustworthy of all of the writings in existence. And I have also read and studied several, and I think that they do not read with the same coherency as the other books of the Bible.

I'm not catholic but there is nothing true about what this video says about the apocryphal books. They were not removed by the Vatican. You can find many bibles today that contain the apocryphal books including the wisdom of Solomon. The reason you can't find them in most bibles is because protestants removed them because they're considered to be non-canonical.

This video is a lie, the books you are speaking of are still used by the Anglican, Catholic, Coptic, Ethiopian, and Orthodox branches of Christianity. Martin Luther was the first to call for their removal. The Protestant church’s are the ones who removed the books not the Catholics. Get your facts straight.
